ESPN only not working properly (not from "blackout" issue).
Both of my ESPN channels become fuzzy or just go to unavailable entirely. It's not a "blackout" issue. For example I am watching sportscenter right now and the channel goes in and out, freezes up, etc. ESPN works fine on my bedroom tv. I have also received a new box to switch out to see if it was a box problem, but the other box does the exact same thing.
Again, it's only the one channel. Any ideas?
Retighten all coax connectors to the STB, including any splitters in the signal path. What you describe appears to be a frequency-related problem (I think the two ESPN channels are on the same QAM channel) that loose coax connectors can cause. It's a physics thing that can effect only certain frequencies. This is a solution other have been successfully used to fix problems were only a few channels break up or go away.

ITunes Not working Properly/Not Syncing on Network properly

For weeks and weeks now on my Computer iTunes will not see or recognize my iPhone 4S and my iPad 3. When I try to sync by opening iTunes on desktop and then wake up pho ad iPad it does not see it and will not show them in iTunes no matter what I do. I have reset network, forget network, renew lease on wifi network and shut down both and turned back on and nothing has worked!!! I have reported this many times as well in the past. It is like Apple themselves have changed the way iTunes suyncs with the phone and ipad when trying to sync to make updates on apps.I am at wits end!!! Since they did the update to 10.6.1 it has been a pain in the you know what to sync to update apps.I got to plug both in to computer for them to sync and update apps or update apps from the iphoor ipad itself. Please Apple or someone who knows what needs to be fixed please fix it it is very aggrevating it has been weeks like this and I would have thoughht that Apple would have gotten the hint when I have seen others complain about this as well. It is from what I see most of the time it is with Windows 7 computers that have this syncing connectivity issue but I do see it happen in Wndows Vista as well as I have both operating systems here with 2 iphones, 1 iphone 4s logged in to windows vista when updating apps and the other which is windows 7 and it has ipad 3 and iphone 4s attached to it to sync when updates to apps become available. I hope some can make sense of all this and help or get apple to fix the issue finally!!!!well, it is easy. i just wish it to sync in a manner that i do not get frustrated with it. it just does not like to sync when i open up itunes on desktop to update apps when they have updates. i have got to revert to plugging in the phone and ipad for it to sync and update apps. if you read through the whole thing you would have found it out. all i am saying is that itunes 10.6.1 and ios 5.1 have bugs and issues that make it hard for a iphone and ipad user to sync and update apps. itunes is slow to open with windows 7 as well as i did not mention that before but i have mentioned it in my other forum posts.

I've bought a iphone 5c from USA but the headset is not working properly its still in warranty,can i go for replacement of headset??
Since it is only the headset that is the problem and not the iPhone it would be better to just buy a new set and not let yourself be frustrated over it. If you send anything to your sister before the one-year warranty is over, include the headset so she can exchange it at an Apple store.

i am new to mac air. Today i installed (unsuccessfully!) MAPLE16 on my mac book air. Now since it does not work properly (it also does not appear in applications) i decide to delete it. I could not remove it from launchpad . i need urgent help from your side.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmyrmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You generally have to reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
You may be advised by others to try to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name, or by running "utilities" that purport to remove software. I don't give such advice. Those tactics often will not work and maymake the problem worse. -

Hello. I sent my WRT1900AC V1 to Linksys four days ago (Monday) via UPS with a RMA. Linksys paid the shipping and everything. The router is still in route, and it should arrive to their offices tomorrow. Once they receive the WRT1900 AC V1, they are going to send me an EA8500 as a replacement. But I have been reading the comments about the EA8500 here in the forum and it seems to have the same problems. I guess the firmware is extremely flawed in both routers (maybe it is almost the same code?). Anyway, I will try the EA8500 and I hope it works. I bought a temporary router from Walmart and I paid $35 for it. It is a Belink N600 DB. I can't believe that a $35 router is working a lot, lot, lot better than my previous $250 WRT1900AC router. Unbelievable. If the EA8500 doesn't work, I'm going to try and get my money back from Linksys, or contact The Consumerist or someone to get my money back and get a Nighthawk instead.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

The DNS server validates successfully in the configuration UI.
With this configuration, I get a static IPv6 address of fd79:7a37:cbd9:3333::1/128 assigned to the NIC
The operations status is all green apart from DNS which displays the following error:
"DNS: Not Working Properly"
Error:
None of the enterprise DNS servers fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 used by DirectAccess clients for name resolution are responding. This might affect DirectAccess client connectivity to corporate resources.
Causes:
Enterprise DNS servers fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 are not responding.
I can, however ping fd79:7a37:cbd9:7777::a00:1 (which is the DNS64 translation of 10.0.0.1)
I would like to know what checks are failing as there are no failures in Event Viewer.
I have come across forums where people have the same issue and fix it by specifying the local IP (in this case 10.0.0.100) as the DNS server, however Richard Hicks has confirmed with me that the DNS server should be set to the DNS server, not the DA server's

I'm going to assume that since you deleted your hard drive and all its files, you had a backup, yes? If the backup has an OS (bootable clone), then you can boot into it by holding down the option key when you start up you iMac and choose the backup drive. Then use Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper to copy the files back to your iMac.
