Espn wont play video

Go to the global security settings panel in Flash player help When it opens go to the 3rd icon from the left with the lock icon. Click on edit location and add espn.com this worked for me

Encore wont play video files

I recently upgraded encore from ver.2 to cs3 and find that ver.cs3 wont play video files.
It wont play the file in the project window, it just stops at the first frame. If I move the slider below the viewer the video material is updated but it wont play.
In the monitor view it wont play either, I can view the material by manually moving the cursor.
It wont play a preview either, it just stops.
It builds a DVD without problems and the dvd plays fine without errors but the program wont play any video files.
Ver.2 plays all the same video files without problems.
Please help!

There are diagonal stripes on some clips on the timeline and wont play video in the program monitor.

After reconnecting some origianl files after a hard drive crashed, there are diagonal stripes on some clips on the timeline that wont play video in the program monitor. They do however play in the source monitor.

Those stripes are most likely the missing media indicators, which means you've relinked to the wrong clips.

YouTube wont play videos

Just within the last few days Youtube wont play videos. Any ideas why this might be they work in IE.

My ipod 5th gen. 30 gig wont play video on to tv!! need help, please!

Hi, I have searched and have found no answer. My ipod wont play on the tv. I don't have a offical Apple cable that plugs into the headphone jack to the tv. But I have a cable that I have found laying around my house that is exactly the same. It has a headphone connecter on one saide, and three other plugs on the other (yellow, white, red).
I know if I'm not using a Apple cable that I have to rerange the cables, red to yellow, white to red, yellow to white. I've tried other combinations with NO success.
I have the ipod set to TV on..
And the only thing that happens is that white and grey lines start dancing around on the tv..
and SOMETHIMES theres is some auido, but with only one speaker..
I have tired two tv's. A hdtv and a flat screen tv.

The reason a standard A/V cable won't work with the iPod if you match the colors is because the A/V cable standard was developed by Video Camera manufactures and they arbitrarily picked the connections on the 3-contact 1/8" plug to go to their colors.
When Apple decided to put a three contact 1/8" jack on the iPod and use one contact for Video output, they couldn't match the same colors because the configuration picked by the video folks didn't match the two audio channels to the same ones used by standard headphones. So Apple had to make their own A/V cables to get the colors to match up correctly.
If they hadn't made their own A/V cables (or made you use a standard cable with the colors mixed up) and made the iPod match the A/V standard then it would have required custom wired headphones for the iPod. Clearly you can see where the outrage would be if Apple seemingly MADE people buy their custom headphones and didn't let you use any headphones you wanted, right?

hi there i recently purchased an imac i have been sent a link to a video on the youtube web site when i try to view the video all i get is the quicktime symbol with a question mark in it.
could anyone please tell me how to view the video i have already downloaded the flipformac to view media player content

If you can see their site...it about 99.9%, you have the flash plug-in...But, for lack of doing anything else... re-install the flash plug-in...At one point in installing the plug-in, make sure you close out all bowsers.....

Quicktime wont play video ANY VIDEO and I cant fix it

I have downloaded all of the software on the quicktime website and it still wont play any of my videos. all of my stuff has different extensions and i have tried a ton of varieties of them but still nothing.
Does anyone know what i could use to fix this.
I have been looking in the forms all day but i cant find any suggested software at all.

What is the format or file extension you're trying to open via QuickTime Player?
QT can open dozens of file formats and sometimes you need third party components or codecs to view non supported formats.

New ipad wont play videos on facebook

i have the NEW IPAD (4G) and whenever i try to view videos on FACEBOOK, it wont play.
It opened a browser and a play icon appears.
I was able to play it on my laptop and saw the video without problem.

It's likely that those particular videos require Flash Player to view. Adobe discontinued supporting Flash Player for mobile devices a year ago, so you can't view those videos on your iPad. You CAN view them on a laptop because Flash Player for computers still works fine. This has been discussed endlessly on this Forum.

SATA = "Serial ATA." ATA is the standard that has been used for most PC disk drives for many years. Up until a few years ago, most PC disk drives were what is now called "Parallel ATA," or PATA for short. This is being replaced by the more modern "Serial ATA," or SATA.

For some reason, iTunes has problems playing videos stored on SATA drives, but not on other types of drives. No one has been able to determine yet why this is.
The "bypass" you ask for is storing your videos on PATA drives, or on networked drives, or even flash drives (e.g., USB sticks). That may not be an option for you, as it will not be for most people who buy off-the-shelf PCs.
The bottom line is that you shouldn't have to know what type of disk drive is in your system. Regardless of the type, it should just work. Unfortunately for some reason that does not appear to be the case with SATA drives and iTunes.
Apple is at least aware of the problem, but that has not been publicly acknowledged nor has there been any word as to when it might be fixed.

Iphone 4 when updated to 6.1.2 wont play video on kenwood in car

When I updated my iphone 4 to the 6.1.2 software it wont play the video in my car anymore. The sound still works but no video, I dont know what happened. I have gone through the kenwood forums and they are saying that it had something to do with the update that apple put out. Any suggestions?

That's why I disdain the cloud and prefer terra firma with a good recent local backup on a computer I control. But anyway...
As far as the phone is concerned, its data is kaput. Will have to be patient and reload/salvage what you can from the ancient backup. Like I said, phone is empty, nothing to save from there, so if it does not restore at first try, don't be afraid to stop it, wipe it clean and start again.

Safari 5 Wont Play VIdeos On Sites Like Yotube And Facebook

I recently downloaded the new safari update and now i can play videos on websites like youtube,myspace, or facebook. I also downloaded the newest version of adobe and it worked for a few hours and now its back to the same problem.
The videos wont load its just a black screen. What should i do?

I just tried this, also. Video are now playing again in Safari 5. Thanks for the fix. If they stop playing for some reason, I'll let you know.
Now only problem is some photos/gifs/ won't load onto some pages & ? in box appears instead. The links are there but may or may not be in the correct position for mouse over because ?s are misaligned. Will look for answers to this next.

Do you see the now playing screen when playing videos?
If so, simple, turn TV off.
