ESS Busness Package Content Not Accessible For Delta Copy Role

We are implementing EP 6.0 connected to an ECC 5.0 backend System. We have imported ESS Business Package 60.2 into the portal. If I assign the ESS role "out of the box" (PCD folder structure: CONTENT PROVIDED BY SAP => END USER CONTENT => com.sap.pct.ess.employee => com.sap.pct.ess.roles => Employee Self-Service) to the Everyone Group, the content displays correctly. I had to set the Web Dynpro System Permissions for the End User to get this to work (Everyone Group => Administrator None, End-User Enabled) but did NOT have to set any Permissions on the role or its parent folders. I made a delta copy of the ESS User Role and placed it in a customization folder in the PCD and then deleted some of the worksets from the delta copy. The remaining worksets, roles, iviews, etc in the delta copy role are located in the PCD in folder structure: CONTENT PROVIDED BY SAP => END USER CONTENT => com.sap.pct.ess.employee. The Web Dynpro System Permissions for the End User are set(Everyone Group => Administrator None, End-User Enabled). The ESS navigation tabs are visible as well as the Overview page but none of the area group pages or services will display. I have tried setting End-User permissions on the PCD folder that contains the delta copy role but it still will not work. Any ideas?

Hi,
I have 2 environments with having Guest role (read on Public SecurityGroup).
Ideally public content should be accesible by any guest/annonomous users.

It seems like your Kerberos SSO reject anonymous users, rather than give the 'Guest' role. Not sure if anything can be done about it at UCM side.

"show package content" not available for keynote docs

Anyone have a work-around for this? It still works for applications, but keynote docs either changed the way the supporting files are saved or for some other reason I can't get into the package. Is there another way to open the package besides right-clicking and using the drop down menu?

Thanks... so how do I get inside to view/edit/rename/change elements? That was such a handy way to find a graphic and insert a new one, change it etc. without having to re-do it in the software. Also, if I'm trying to get an image from a keynote doc will it let me "save as image" like ppt does? I haven't found a way to do this, that's why I always open the package and get the image that way.

Error message: ORA-06553: PLS-213: package STANDARD not accessible

I log in the database by owner 'sys'. and I tried to drop a user from the database. But the db didn't allow me to do this. Then, I want to copy the table structure from one schema to another schema. the error is come:
ORA-06553: PLS-213: package STANDARD not accessible
Unreasonable that, I have tried to do this task many times before, it still worked. But after I failed to drop the user, then the db didn't allow me to copy table structure.
That problem also affected that the user cannot sign-in into the company web site which is connected to database. Very complex problem now.
What can I do now? Did the problem is related to the process of droping user? any setting I could do to let me fix it?

Actually, I login as SYS, and I have run the following scripts in SQL*plus :
SQL> connect / as sysdba
SQL> $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catalog.sql
SQL> $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql
SQL> $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catexp.sql
However, those scripts are response to following message:
'ORACLE_HOME' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
So, what could I do next? Thaks a lot!

SQL Always On: not accessible for queries

Hi forum!
I'm monitoring SQL 2012 Always On Groups with the latest SQL MP. A couple of the database replicas are configured to not allow access. This is to avoid additional license costs for those minor important databases.
However, I get the following events in the SQL log:
Error 976, Severity 14
The target database, '%.*ls', is participating in an availability group and is currently not accessible for queries. Either data movement is suspended
or the availability replica is not enabled for read access. To allow read-only access to this and other ...
Of course, as soon as I configure read-only for those databases the events disappear.
Is there any other solution?
Has anyone identified already (all) the accessing workflows?

Hi All, I am also experiencing this issue. Having a look at the statements SCOM is issuing, it's actually checking whether the AG secondary allows connections but it ignores the value and tries to connect anyway. I believe this is a minor bug.

Transaction launcher not working for custom business role

Hi Experts,
I am facing a very weird problem where the transaction laucher define for BOR transaction is working for one business role(Z business role Customized one) but its not working for other business role (Z business role).
to emphasize further we have the code:-

    when lc_BUS2000115.
      lv_logical_link = lc_ZITERP1.
    when others.
      lv_logical_link = lc_ZITERP2.

IF l_if_navigation IS BOUND .
Navigate to transaction launcher using link id
    l_if_navigation->navigate( iv_link_id = lv_logical_link ).
ENDIF.
in this the logical link is is lc_ZITISU whenever this BSP application is called from both the business roles but in one the window opens up for BOR transaction whereas when we login again using different business role the code is the same as given above. I mean the sam logical link id is used and navigated to but window is not opening for transaction launcher as it happens for the previous business role.
Request your help to resolve this issue.

I tried by applying the PFCG role id of business role which was working to the business role id of the one for which it wasn't working and then try testing whether the transaction launcher is triggering. But the transaction launcher screen is still not opening even after doing this.
Probably there's something else too which is causing the problem. Request your inputs on this,

Edit iview properties in delta copied role

Hi all,
I have created a role with a delta link to an iview. So the role only consist of this iview delta linked for an iview in the pcd.
After this I have copied the entire role as a delta link to another location in the pcd.
Then I have changed some attributes on the iview in the new role that is a delta link of the first role.
When I open the new role I cannot use the "reset node" button for the iview node in the role and the reset button is inactive on some of the properties I just changed (for example description) and on others it is active.
Can anyone tell me why this is the case or is this a bug?

"Show Package Contents" not available

Hi all
I just downloaded the Common Criteria Toolset from here:

I use Mac OS X 10.5 on a MacBook PRO 2.4.
I am not able to choose "Show Package Contents" from the Finder by right clicking the file. Instead I have to open the package in Installer.app and let it show the files with cmd-i.
This is not the first package that shows this behaviour. Older packages mostly work fine though.
Can someone enlighten me, what has changed here, or how I get the Finder option back?

i might be wrong, but I don't remember ever to have seen this option with installation packages (.pkg), only with installed apps. For a .pkg there's only cmd+i when opened with Installer.app. Maybe "Show Package Contents" existed for pkgs earlier, but that must've been a while ago. At least I can verify that the option is not there, so it's not a problem with your system.

Photos visible in iPhoto application but not accessible for upload

Any help anyone can provide with this is greatly appreciated. I took pictures of a friends wedding and have been trying to order a photobook as a gift. I decided to try to use iPhoto to make the book. I don't use iPhoto very often and at the start of this, my iMac was running on the Tiger OS and an old version of iPhoto (I think 5 or 6). After completing the first version of my photobook, I tried to place an order, but got a message that my version of iPhoto wasn't supported any longer and I'd have to upgrade.
I called the Apple store and ordered the Mac Box Set to upgrade my operating system to Snow Leopard and my iLife to version 11. The woman at the Apple store had me check my system info., available space, etc. and she assured me that my system should be able to handle the upgrade. I went ahead with the upgrade, loading the new operating system first and then iLife. The install seemed to go just fine, I never got any error messages and all the applications appear to function properly. So, I used the new version of iPhoto to create a photobook. I then placed the order the first time. On my end the process went smoothly and the upload completed without interruption. However, I got an e-mail message 4 days later saying my order couldn't be completed because files did not upload properly. So, I tried to place the order again, following the instructions to make sure that all my other applications were closed, etc. Once again the process seemed to be completed without any issues. However, now a week later, I once again got the error message that my order could not be completed because files did not upload properly.
So, I decided to try to place an order through a different vendor. Now I have discovered that all my recent photos (despite appearing in the iPhoto) are not accessible when I try to access them for upload to the vendor's site. The icon for iPhoto library is grayed out and there is no longer an option to access my photo rolls through finder. So, now I am unable to place the order for the photobook.
Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Nothing to be fixed. Just a little learning for you.
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File: a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected. 3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

I'm getting a message that says "content not authorized for viewing" Any ideas?

I have not used my AppleTV1 for quite a while and have since upgraded from a MacBook (black) to a MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard). I tried to hook up to the AppleTV1 (wired connection) and see if I could get it working. All seemed to go well but I can't seem to download my Library to the Apple TV. When I tried to view a movie or TV show from my library on the MacBook Pro, I get a message that the "content is not authorized for viewing" What does this mean and can I fix it??

I did a full factory reset on the Apple TV and then set evrything up again. Synced all my stuff from the computer, which seemed to download ok, but still get the "Your Apple TV is not authorized to play this content" message. It's very frustrating. All the content was purchased from the iTumes Canada store, I'm in Canada but can't watch it on the TV. I tried changing to the US store but same message. I think I'll just give up. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with an Apple product and I have never used anyrhing else but Apple. Thanks for your help anyway it's much appreciated.

There is no "show package contents" option when I right click. This screenshot was on a folder. Same with .dmg etc.

I do have "Secrets" downloaded (extra preferances thing). Maybe there is something there I hit or turn off?

I think you are confusing what options apply to different file types.
A .dmg is a disk image - you access it by double clicking it and it mounts on your desktop.
Within the .dmg you'll see a .mpkg or a .pkg - the icons look like a 3D box. This can be right clicked (control clicked) and you will see the option to Show Package Contents. (Archive.bom, Archive.pax.gz, Info.plist, PkgInfo, Resources)
Double clicking the .mpkg or .pkg invokes the Installer and installs the resources within the package on to your machine.

HTML5 Content not accessible on Windows Server 2008r2

Hello,
I created a small Tutorial within Captivate that should be viewed via a Webpage, so I exported it as HTML 5. It runs fine on all browsers except:
Internet Explorer on Windows Server 2008r2. (Only the loading gif is displayed)
This seems to be a common problem ("HTML5 on Windows Server" gives me alot of google results). The solution for this is to activate "Desktop experience" on Windows server (I tried it and it worked). The thing is: we can't ask all users to install this feature.
Is there a possibility to make the HTML5 content run on these machines? Is there a setting in Captivate or something I can change in the exported files? (The Tutorial doesn't rely on multimedia to heavily, so If there is a possibility to deactivate certain functions this might help)

Edit: There seems to be a problem with the Audio function (Debugger says "not implemented" at "return new audio"). there is no audio in my project, but it still includes huge load of audio-related code in the CPM.js

SYS PACKAGE DBMS_DEFER_IMPORT_INTERNAL NOT ACCESSIBLE

We are trying to import a dmp file to Oracle 10.2.0.1 database. This is a full import and ignore=y has been given. We found the following error for one particular user
ORA-06550: line 2, column 5:
PLS-00302: component 'DBMS_DEFER_IMPORT_INTERNAL' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 2, column 1:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored
We observed that this is being executed when connected as a user FIDILEO, and on a standalone sql session too, we are getting the same error when executing the package

After much research on web, I have now done a GRANT command after logged in as SYS user, as
GRANT EXECUTE ON SYS.DBMS_DEFER_IMPORT_INTERNAL TO FIDILEO;
GRANT EXECUTE ON SYS.DBMS_DEFER_IMPORT_INTERNAL TO PUBLIC;
Still, we cannot execute this procedure when logged in as FIDILEO and continues to give the same error message. However, new users and other users are able to execute the PLSQL Block. I have verified that the package and it's body is VALID.
Basic overlook of the privileges shows that all seems right, still not able to execute this PLSQL block. This issue is happening for 3 packages
1. SYS.DBMS_DEFER_IMPORT_INTERNAL
2. SYS.DBMS_EXPORT_EXTENSION
3. SYS.DBMS_LOGREP_IMP
These issues were not in 11g import. Only in 10g. Can anyone help?

Version 10.2.0.1 is several years old and apparently never patched.
This may not solve your specific issue but based on your comment about not having the issue in 11g I would be reasonable, as a first step, to apply the available patches or at least determine if they address the issue before proceeding.
