ESS - Cannot Start Transaction

Hi,
After maintaining infotyp 0105 and subtyp 0001, I'm getting and error message as folows (after clicking on almost all the functions, e.g. Personal Data):
Cannot Start Transaction
The Internet Transaction Server could not start the Transaction "pzxx" because of the following error. You are not authorized to use Transaction PZXX.
Appreciate if someone could help me on this. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Hapizorr Rozi Alias

Dear Srinivasa,
I found your blog "What is UDDI?". I liked!
I have a question about UDDI.
I had configured the UDDI on server host XXXXX and can access it though
the links (the UDDI works):
But when I try to enter virtual URL http://uddi.<domain>.net/publish I
receive the message error "HTTP 404 - File not found Internet
Information Services"
Could you help me?
Thanks a lot!

  • MSS:  Cannot Start Transaction HRWPC_FC_EXEC

We have three custom ABAP reports setup for the 'Reports' tab in MSS.  Two of them work fine, but one of them is giving this error message:
    Cannot Start Transaction
The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "HRWPC_FC_EXEC" because of the following error: .
It doesn't give an error message, so I have no idea what the error is.  Any ideas?

    I would check/try the following:
1)Does the transaction exist and does it need to be published to the ITS?
2)Does the user have the appropriate security profile to run the report - try with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW as a test?
3)Run the transaction directly in R/3 SAPGui with your test user ID, what happens?
4)Is your test user appropriately integrated into your org chart (does the MSS report rely on this?)
Just some ideas.... hope something gives you a clue

This happened to me when I changed the following RFC connection on XI
    HTTP Connections to R/3 Ssytem --> INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI
    from
    under the path prefix
    /dir/hmi_cache_refresh_service/ext
    to
    /dir/CacheRefresh
I believe the first path is for older versions while the second one is for newer versions.
I started getting the error message, then I just changed it back and it was fixed, although I did need to restart the instace for each change to take effect.

If we perform a query on a thread and then subsequently start a UserTransaction, we get the above failure on the begin() method of the UserTransaction
Did anyone experience this before? Your inputs/comments are greatly appreciated.
    Haiwei

James, thanks very much for your response.
I hope you did not mis-understand my previous posts in this thread.
In the example I provided, the database query was outside the UserTransaction. I could successfully perform rollback on an XA db connection after the query was executed. The rollback call cleans up the resources used in the local transaction that was created for the query; thus allows the UserTransaction to start following the query.
The local transaction was created for the query because autoCommit property was false for XA datasource connections. If I set autoCommit to true after getting the connection from XA datasource, the query will finish with the commit of the local transaction that's created for the query. The WAS code appears to work correctly.
If using non-XA datasource, the local transaction created for the query will be committed because the autoCommit is default to true for the non-XA connections.
While using TopLink, there seems to be two options for solving my problem (which was stated at the begining of this thread):
    1) after the execution of a TopLink query, trap the connection.close() event and call the connection.rollback() before closing the connection to clean up the resources used in the local transaction; or
    2) trap the getConnection() event, and call conneciton.setAutoCommit(true) on the connection if the query is not part of the TopLink transaction or UserTransaction.
I studied and experimented with the TopLink code. Option 1) is not do-able. After the execution of a TopLink qeury, TopLink's PreReleaseConnection event does not contain the connection that was used in the query. The connection was closed in the executeCall method of DatabaseAccessor.
The postConnect event seems to provide some possibility of implementing option 2). However, when TopLink executes a query (at least, the ReadObjectQuery that I used in my testing), after getting a connection from DatabaseLogin, the executeCall method in DatabaseAccessoor never triggers the postConnect event.
I posted a seperate note on the issue. Here is the link: postConnect event .
or use a non-JTA DataSource for the TopLink session read login.<We use WAS connection pooling. Did you mean using non-XA datasource for TopLik read?
your own TopLink ExternalConnectionPool subclass to workaround the issue<Could you elaborate the details? Or where can I find more information on the technique?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  • IDX5 - System is not a central XI; cannot start program

    hi all -
Did anyone come across this error message - "System is not a central XI; cannot start program" when trying to execute the tcode - IDX5 on the XI box?
I pushed an IDOC - MATMAS05 from IDOC to XI. It doesn't come into XI.
    1. I checked the SM58 on the R/3 side. No Messages.
    2. I checked the IDX5 transaction on the XI side, that's when i get the above error message.
    3. I checked the IDX2 transaction on the XI side, i get this error "I:000" - Anyone knows what it means?
    4. SXMB_MONI doesn't show up anything.
    5. R/3 - pushed idocs shows a status of 3.
Any ideas where to look for and how to solve the problem -IDX5 and IDX2.
    Environment:
    1. We are using SAP NW 2004s
    2. SAP BASIS Component - SAP_BASIS - Release 7.00
    Thanks in advance,

  • EXCEPTION: ORA-22990: LOB LOCATORS CANNOT SPAN TRANSACTIONS

We hit a brand new BPEL error during Volume Test:
EXCEPTION: ORA-22990: LOB LOCATORS CANNOT SPAN TRANSACTIONS
Anyone seen this ? The OC4J BPEL java process started to consume vast amounts of CPU but I'm not sure if this was the cause of effect. I'm sort of hoping it was the result of this error - if it isn't we have another root cause to try and figure out! We're using BPEL 10.1.2.0.2.
    Rob J

sorry for the delay, i was not checking the otn forum for a while.
Do you see any other errors before this LOB errors in the log file? This is important, you should see some errors (e.g. cmt error or some other error related to jta transaction)
we had this lob locater issue in 10.1.2.0.0 and a mandatory oc4j patch is available for 10.1.2.0.0.
But if you are using 10.1.2.0.2 the patch should be included but i suspect the patch is not taking effect because patch gets applied after the bpel ejb-bean class generation.
    the solution
-remove the application-deployments/orabpel directory completely (just to be safe...please backup before delete)
    - restart the server with -DKeepWrapperCode=true system property in opmn.xml for OC4J_BPEL, this flag would generate stub .java files under j2ee/home or j2ee/home/application-deployments/orabpel/generated directory
    - please upload these regenerated java files to SR
this will force to regenerate the bpel ejb stub classes which should fix this issue.

Driver Management concluded the process to install driver pmvuddrv.inf_amd64_2526415e83dcbc7a\pmvuddrv.inf for Device Instance ID ROOT\SYSTEM\0001 with the following status: 0x0.
     and a service:
A service was installed in the system.
Service Name: Power Manager DBC Service
Service File Name: "C:\Program Files (x86)\ThinkPad\Utilities\PWMDBSVC.EXE"
    Service Type: user mode service
    Service Start Type: demand start
    Service Account: LocalSystem
as indicated by the above messages in Event Viewer.
Is there a known problem with this update?
    Shoudl  I roll it back?
Is there a more elegant way to resolve this?
P.S. Since the update of the Dependency Settings Package, these previously appearing error messages have stopped appearing in the Event. Viewer:
A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the Lenovo Settings Service service.
However, there are now warnings like these:
The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\WPD\0000.
The UMDF reflector was unable to complete startup because the WUDFPf service was not found. This service may be started later during boot, at which point Windows will attempt to start the device again.
The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device ROOT\SYSTEM\0001.
The UMDF reflector was unable to complete startup because the WUDFPf service was not found. This service may be started later during boot, at which point Windows will attempt to start the device again.
The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device ROOT\SYSTEM\0002.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

In the time it took me to document this, the error in Device Manager (and consequently in LSC) has gone away:
    MIRACLE CURE! ;-)
The device "ACPI\DockDevice\_SB.GDCK" no longer appears in Device Manager, only "ACPI\IBM0079\0".

  • "Device Cannot Start - Code 10" - Windows Vista Error, w/ 2nd Gen. Nano

I'm having trouble with my Nano and Windows Vista. The computer is recognizing the iPod just fine and seeing all of my songs, but nothing will play and the diamond bar does not move. I can't hear previews online either.
Under device manager, a yellow "!" shows up for the iPod, and it says "Device Cannot Start - Code 10" when I check. All of my drivers and updates are current as of today. So is iTunes. Any thoughts?
It worked before, but now it's not.

This is a reasonably common error on a PC when there is a problem with either a USB device, your USB cables or hardware, or the system drivers.
In a case where, as you say, the device works properly with other computers, the problem is more likely to be with the hardware or drivers on the computer you're trying to connect to.
See this site for some hints:
    http://www.pchell.com/hardware/usbcode10.shtml
I found it via a web search; I don't have any connection to that site.
The good news is that your iPhone is probably fine.

  • Audacious, skin problem. Cannot start.

    Hello.
I just installed Audacious player, but I cannot start it. When I try to run the player, I get the following error message:
    Unable to load skin.
Check that skin at '(null)' is usable and default scin is properly installed at '/usr/share/audacious/Skins/Default'.
I have the default skin in /usr/share/audacious/Skins/Default directory. I do not know what the first part of the message means (Check that skin at '(null)' is usable...). Can someone give me a hand.
I do not know what else information to post. If you need to know anything for my system, I will post the info. I have Arch GNU/Linux Core Dump, kernel: 2.6.24-ARCH. The system is installed as "Basic", I am using fluxbox ... If you need anything else ...
    Regards.

OT: I'm sorry. I just couldn't help laughing at the subject, which makes perfect sense within the Linux context but which sounds truly bizarre otherwise.

    Dear bezgodo!
Please execute the following commands and compare the results.
    1.
    hostname --fqdn2.
nslookup <your_ip_address>In both cases you should see the fully qualified hostname of your server.
    Yours sincerely
