ESS- communications type not displaying on addresses tab

Hi experts,
in ESS, addresses when user try to update addresses sub types they get the following
In my desk number I have tried to update my desk number to 1
When I review the data the communication type Desk does not appear.
When I save the data, the communication type Desk is there but not the number 1
Can some one help me to slove it ?

Are the contacts in your BlackBerry Address Book AND on your SIM card?
Or ONLY on your SIM card?
Open your Address Book, press the Menu key then click on Filters, and make sure no Filters are checked.
Now, look in the Address Book again.

Tax amount not displaying in Condition tab in PO

Hi
I have maintained tax procedure TAXINJ in PO, Tax is input tax 1% CST, Act Key is NVV, cond is JIP1.
But the tax amount is not displaying under the condition tab of the PO in Non-deductible tax (Cond type NAVS).
Plz help me to sort out this issue.

Transacction types not displaying in the popup

After system upgrade from crm 7.0 to ehp3, transaction types are not displaying upon clicking New button and create follow up buttons. I have checked the spro settings and compared with 7.0 system. There are no changes.
In the debugging in the method GET_PROC_TYPE_CUST of class CL_CRM_UIU_BT_GET_PROC_TYPES, i found the entries in the internal table getting deleted as the navigation is not supported. Am having the entries in lt_proc_type_t.

please check below configuration.
1. go to spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>define transaction types
2. mark your Z transaction type
3. in navigation bar on the left side click on Channel
4. add channel GUI CRM WEBCLIENT UI
and one more thing check inactive check box should be empty.

Condition type not displaying in po

Hello,
I have defined a new condtion type copied frm FRC1 and in prociing sechme , i have not ticked that cond type in manul column.
when i do po, i not geting that new condition type in po condiition tab.
pls tell me, where to maintain ??

Firat check if the condition typw is present in the pricing procedure and check if this pricing procedure is been picked up in the PO by going into condition tab and then click on analysis button. check if ur condition type is displayed here.
Logic is that in case if you maintain the condition type as manual then the condition type will be automatically appears in the condition tab. In case if it is not manual then you have to maintain a condition record for this condition type, then only the condition type will appear. Or you can maintain this condition in the inforecord and it automaticlly gets picked up in the PO.

View Column info not displaying in Columns Tab

Running XP SP2 and SQL Developer 1.5.1 5440
When looking at views that are using tables from another schema. I don't see any of the columns information. I have DBA role
In rel 1.1.2.25 2579 I see them just fine. (Both loaded on machine right now)
Is this a bug or do I have a setting problem?

As a "disclaimer", the points below are based on my usage of SQL Developer and things that bug me about how it works or doesn't work - I know that there are more important things to fix than a number of these.
On to the basics ... and the most basic of the basics for a tool like SQL Developer:
1) Problems with data dictionary queries in navigator or object tabs:
- Triggers not listed in Table tab if trigger owned by different schema to table owner
- Index columns not listed in Table tab if index owned by different schema to table owner
- View columns not listed in View tab if view owned by different schema to current user
- Dependencies not listed in Table/View tab if other object owned by different schema to object owner
- Performance of Table Node (outer join added in 1.5.1)
- there are a lot of other posts about the supplied data dictionary queries not producing the right results and I often find that I am querying the data dictionary directly in a SQL Worksheet for information that should be correct in the navigator/object tabs
Basic things that I expect to work in a tool like SQL Developer (or to work given that they have been included):
1) Popup Describe problems
- schema name is case sensitive, so doesn't find owner.object
- synonym overrides schema name (OWNER.OBJECT will describe local OBJECT synonym instead of OWNER's object)
- position based object name selection includes punctuation
2) Bind variables that work properly in PL/SQL (both Execute Statement and Run Script)
3) Package decomposition in object navigator doesn't report variables or constants of custom types and lists object.column%type constants as "constant"
4) Exporting query results re-executes query to display Export dialog - this presents as SQL Developer freezing after selecting the Export menu option for queries that take a long time for first record to appear
I would use SQL Developer more (or more of SQL Developer) if:
1) More integrated file based development - I still do the bulk of my object creation (largely PL/SQL and views) editing in Wordpad and running via SQL*Plus largely because I get better error reporting.
- display the compile message tab when using the compile button for a file
- show errors doesn't work for views
2) Running Reports hang SQL Developer - I still have my SQL scripts for my common queries, which I can run through SQL Worksheet in a much friendlier fashion (I can cancel them and they don't hang SQL Dev) than I can run reports
Problems that detract from the "polish" of SQL Developer, but don't really have a big impact on usage but discourage me from trying to "convert" non-techie TOAD using colleagues:
1) Multiple TNSNAMES files read - generates multiple entries
2) Export of long string literals causes ORA-972 error
3) "Statement Processed" feedback is extremely sensitive to spaces ("create Statement Processed" where two spaces between the create and view keywords) and assumes simple statements ("create unique Statement Processed" or "create or replace force Statement Processed" as examples)
I think that makes 10 basics to fix (although some as just issues that make the tool look unpolished), however, it does seem as though testing in the following areas could be significantly better:
1) Regression testing - a number of bugs seem to crop up again after being fixed in earlier versions
2) Navigator/object tab queries - especially with multi-schema applications (ie Oracle eBusiness Suite) and just generally objects owned by other schemas
3) Performance with large DBs in terms of object count (ie Oracle eBusiness Suite)
As a final note, it is my impression that SQL Developer development has been unbalanced in focusing too much on including new functionality (which is good) and not enough on getting existing functionality right (which is better).

Updating Contact info from Mail not displaying in Address Book

So I was updating an existing contact from Mail using the data detector feature. Address Book was already running in background. I clicked on the data detector and said "update existing contact". I pick the contact that I want to update. When I go to address book to see if the contact was updated, it "appears" that it hadn't updated. However, if I exit address book and restart the data does appear. So it get's in the database but doesn't display until exit and restart.

After several days of trying, i finally seem to have it working. What i ended up doing was exporting my backing up my addresses on another computer that still had Snow Leopard on it. I exported both as .abbu and vCards. I was then able to get the vCards into iCloud.
Problem was, i could not get them to import into Contacts in Mavericks. I could not even add the iCloud account to contacts. It would let me sign in and choose contacts, but iCloud never showed up in the accounts nor did the contacts show up in Contacts.
After trying repairing permissions and resetting the PRAM to no avail, it occured to me to delete the Address Book folder from /Library/Application Support
Once that folder was gone, i was able to add iCloud to the accounts and import the .abbu file from Address Book.
So if you did not export your Address Book contacts before updating, you will need a second computer that is still running Snow Leopard to export the contacts. Then you can delete the Address Book folder from the Library and you should then be able to import the contacts into Contacts on Mavericks.

Tasks not displaying in Mail tab

Have recently started using Thunderbird (been using Outlook 2003) and have installed Lightening add on. I have created a number of tasks (mainly recurring) but they are not displaying in 'Tasks' pane on Thunderbird's main 'email' tab - they all have both Start and Due dates. The Task 'date' is highlighted in the mini-month display but the Task is not listed below in the Tasks pane. If I open the Calendar tab then tasks are displayed under their various dates. On one occasion the Tasks did list on the Tasks pane of Thunderbird's main mail tab(page) but next time I 'opened' Thunderbird they had disappeared!

'Access is denied' error in ESS iViews & Page not displayed' thru. internet

Hi,
We are implementing ESS(Webdynpro)/MSS(Java).
We are in EP6 SP13.
We want to put our portal on internet through SSL.
I have installed SAP Webdispatcher and configured it to support SSL. SAP webdispatcher is installed on a DMZ machine(hostname: SAPROUTER).
webdispatcher ports:
http port: 80
https port: 8443
1) When i try to access the portal from the DMZ machine (where the webdispatcher is installed) using https://saprouter.domainname.net:8443/irj/portal, i am able to see all the iViews.. but, i am getting 'access is denied' error(in the status bar) when i try to click on any link in ESS iViews (for ex: working time, Employee search).. when i try to double click i am getting javascript:void(0)
2) When i try to access the portal through internet(https://<ipaddress>:8443/irj/portal), I get the logon page and after logging in... i am not able to see the ESS and Transaction iViews .. getting 'Page cannot be displayed' error.
When i am able to see the iViews in the DMZ machine.. why are they not being displayed when i access through internet??
Can any1 help me in this regard?? What am i missing ??

Its a hot topic I think,
Where facing the exact same problems.
When we logon LOCAL to the Portal the iview works. (Not true the internet / DMZ)
But when we logon true the webdispatcher we get the Portal Layout, so the dispatcher works.
But the WEBdynpro Iview gives the error -> Page not displayed'
And when we edit the file hosts on the pc of the client browser and fill in the hostname of the SAP Portal the Iview works..???
There are no ports closed on the firewall, everything is allowed.
Can anyone tell me of its necessary to edit the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment. Here are some settings for the WEBdispatcher but I cant get it working.
- sap.webdispatcher.host = Defines the host of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.port = Defines the port of a used Web Dispatcher
- sap.webdispatcher.protocol = Defines the protocol of a used Web Dispatcher

When I activate the trace on the webdispatcher
(D:webdispsapwebdisp.exe pf=D:webdispsapwebdisp.pfl -t 2)
In the Tracefile I can see that the webdispatcher resolves the SAP portal system. Thats was aleady confirmed by seeing the portal framework from the client. I think that the WEBdynpros have to be remote activated, or some addition settings in the webdispatcher.
If somebody get an idée I really would like to know it.

Mavericks Mail - Not displaying Smart Addresses Correctly

Using OS X 10.9.1. If I add a contact into Contacts (formerly Address Book), Mail does not display the smart address for that contact. But if I remove the email address from the contact entry in Contacts, Mail shows the email address as a smart address (hiding the email address and only displaying the name). Please see the attached image example.
Unchecking and re-checking Smart Address in Mail's Preferences is not fixing the issue. Rebuilding Mail has not worked, and neither is restarting.
Does anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

I see exactly the same behaviour in 10.9.1, but unfortunatelly so far didn't find a workaround for it.
But I can offer a slight bit more insight into it: When switching to classic view, the Smart Address is not used in the list view of all available mails, but is used correctly in the mail itself ... same holds true for your case. If you open the mail and look at the displayed name within it, the Smart Address will be used.
It somehow seems to be a bug in Mail to me, since an inconsistent behaviour between the two views seems everything but not wanted. I already submitted a bug report, but maybe an additional report from your side might be helpfull.
It would be also good to know if anyone else is seeing exactly the same inconsistency, simply to narrow down the possible glitch...

Text does not display in address bar or any windows I open

Text does not display when typing in address bar. When I open a window (eg Edit > Preferences) no text is displayed within that either.
Problem has persisted through Ubuntu 12.04 (possibly 11.10) to 13.04. Has also remained after re-installs, both through use of Software Centre, and through Terminal commands, and after running purge of all firefox content.
Running Firefox as root using gksu command also doesnt help.

Have finally solved,
1st checked default system fonts available using unity-tweak
Then went to ~.mozilla/firefox and found prefs.js file, deleted everything to do with fonts and families, saved and restarted.
The odd thing is how this file persisted despite removing and purging firefox.

IN MIGO display mode not displaying the Invoice tab.

Why? How will get it?

I understand this note is useful if Excise tab not dispalyed while doing MIRO. But the issue is -In dispaly mode of MIGO the excise tab is not dispalyed even though we have captured the Excise during MIGO.

Contact Modify & Create Date not displayed in Address Book

I use the create & modify date a lot in Microsoft Outlook's contacts. Although those fields are supported and updated by the Apple Adderess Book, I can't see a way to display or sort on those in the Apple Address Book.

After several days of trying, i finally seem to have it working. What i ended up doing was exporting my backing up my addresses on another computer that still had Snow Leopard on it. I exported both as .abbu and vCards. I was then able to get the vCards into iCloud.
Problem was, i could not get them to import into Contacts in Mavericks. I could not even add the iCloud account to contacts. It would let me sign in and choose contacts, but iCloud never showed up in the accounts nor did the contacts show up in Contacts.

Type not displaying correctly when publishing

I have a Flash MX file which I created a couple of years ago.
I edited it (in MX) and when I published the .swf, the type only
displayed every other letter or so. Any one know what the problem
is and how to fix it. The type face was Avante Garde Italic, if
that matters.
