ESS link in Outlook express

Hi friends
My client wants when ever a workitem gets in the UWL a email has to notify that a workitem has come. I know that there is a report program RSWUWFML2 and configuration of this report with correct varient you can achieve it.
I have followed the following link
Link: [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/abap/workitemintimationintheemail]
The link describes the SAP R/3 login screen. But i want Portal login screen. How to achieve it.
Regards
vijay

Are you on 4.7 or ECC 6.0 version ?
If you are on ECC 6.0, user SWNCONFIG configuration. In that you can specify link of the portal which is displayed in the email sent to the user whenever workitem arrives in the inbox.
Regards,
PR.

I linked my outlook express with icloud, not realizing it would change my outlook express contacts. I deleted email addresses from my iphone, not wanting them there which in turn deleted them from my PC. Is there any way to get these addresses back? Seems I no longer have an outlook contacts list.

It's Outlook, not Outlook Express (different program) and if you have now deleted them from iCloud and do not have a backup they are gone.

  • Why will links in Outlook Express emails no longer open a tab in Firefox?

Before firefox update, when I clicked a web link in an Outlook Express email, Firefox would automatically open and go to the correct website. This no longer happens. Where do I change the settings?

    See:
You can look at the network.protocol-handler.external.mailto prefs on the about:config page.
If network.protocol-handler.external.mailto prefs are user set (bold) then right-click and Reset them to the default value.
You can also try to change the network.protocol-handler.warn-external.mailto pref to true.
This can also be a problem with the mimeTypes.rdf file.

  • When launching and opening tabs from links in outlook express not all tabs appear

Since upgrading to Firefox 21 when I click on links in emails in Outlook Express not all the links open new tabs, but when I attempt to close Firefox it says there are more tabs open than are being displayed. Firefox also becomes sluggish to non-responsive during these "evolutions". If I open Firefox first before clicking links in emails it does not display this behavior.

The DDE fix does not appear to address the same problem I'm having. I receive no error windows or indications of any kind, the tabs just never appear, yet when I close firefox it will ask me if I want to close all "X" tabs ( and X appears to equal the number of tabs I tried to open).

  • Can't send link using Outlook Express

    Hi everyone,
i am having the same issue here in Australia. I cannot send emails using Outlook 'unknown error has occured in outlook'. Have contacted my service provider and they offered the great below advice.

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.tpg.com.au (Port 25 or 587)

Enable the option for "My server requires authentication" and click "logon using"

  • Firefox does not recognize links to send URL or link to Outlook Express when it is the default mail program. The articles do not work. CUSTOM settings in XP do not take. And Non-Microsoft setting block access to Outlook Express. Please help!!!

I am running an up to date XP machine. This problem started after I D/L v. 3.6.10 and it is a real PITA not having FF recognize these links!!!

    Greetings NoNameGiven,
If I understand the problem correctly (I’m not sure I do) you would prefer ‘iii’ to be read as “eye eye eye” rather than “three”? The alt text property is the only way that I know of to make this happen. Hope this helps.

  • When clicking on a link within my Outlook Express, it will not open to the website. This has worked flawlessly in the past. What has changed? Thank you.

When working in Outlook Express and attempting to click on a link in my email, it will not open the website any more. This worked flawlessly before last week and now has stopped working. Please advise.

    Hi mcsimmons,
First thing I would do is check [[How to make Firefox the default browser|to see if Firefox is your default browser]]. You could also go to ''Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs Tab'' on your computer and make Firefox the default web browser that way.
    Hopefully this helps!

  • Until I installed version 3.6.6 on my XP system I would bring up Outlook Express to send a link by mail. Now, selecting "send link" brings up MS Outlook Office which is not my e-mail default.

Prior to installing 3.6.6 on my MS XP system, when I click on FILE & SEND LINK, instead of getting my mail system OUTLOOK EXPRESS, I get OFFICE OUTLOOK which is on my computer but I have never used it for this. I cannot locate a setting to change this so far. Thank you. C.F. Boykin-
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened

  • Does not return to inbox (Outlook Express) after following a link

Just installed Firefox (was using Internet Explorer) and am still using Outlook Express for mail. Under IE, if I clicked on a link from an email, I was returned to my inbox when closing the linked-to window. Now it does not automatically return so I have to manually get back to the inbox.

You're welcome! It's still a little awkward but I think it's the best way

Both my wife and I use this PC my email is via Thunderbird, she uses outlook express. When I try to forward a link in firefox, it always opens outlook express- I want it to come from my account at thunderbird. how do I fix this?

Try making sure that Thunderbird is set as the program to handle email. You can do that in the [[Options window - Applications panel]]. You might also check this Thunderbird documentation - http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/make-thunderbird-default-mail-client

  • Won't open Outlook Express compose window when I click on a website's Mailto link

I have Firefox 3.6.10 running on Windows XP on my desktop.
When I am at a website with a Mailto link and click on the link, I expect my Outlook Express compose window to open. This is because Firefox's Tools>Options>Applications>mailto for Outlook Express is set to Use Outlook Express.
Unfortunately, clicking on this link merely takes me to Outlook Express, as opposed to opening a Compose window.

If the server doesn't recognize that you are logged on then that usually means that the cookie that identifies you isn't send to the server.
If the cookie settings in Firefox are OK then make sure that an extension or security software on your computer isn't blocking the cookies.
If you use the Back button then Firefox may be loading the page from the cache.
Do you still get the correct page if you refresh via F5 or Ctrl + F5 (bypass cache)?
