ESS: personnel information 500 internal service error

Under "personnel information"menu in ESS,there are severl sub-menu ,for example:ddress, bank information, Familly member, person data.
When try to open any of the sub-menu, there is a 500 inernal service error . the details pls see the below message. Our SAP
release is ECC 5.0 and portal release is 7.0 sp11. Did anyone meet the same issue before or who would give me some good points? thanks.
The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:
   com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.ContextConfigurationException: DataNodeInfo(FcPersInfo.InitPernr.InitPernrOutput.Subtypes): structure field Default_Begda not found
    at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.DataAttributeInfo.init(DataAttributeInfo.java:299)

    at com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.context.NodeInfo.init(NodeInfo.java:674)
    ... 49 more

thanks Barin.
according to the indicated thing in the note in step 2, it would have to update the structure HRXSS_PER_SUPPLD_SUBTY_INFO in order to add Default_Begda component, but that structure does not exists.
I suposse that the problem is about the compatibility between the EP and backend version.
My backend is ECC 5.0 whit this components:
SAP_BASIS     640     0016     SAPKB64016     Sistema Base SAP
SAP_ABA     640     0016     SAPKA64016     Componente multiaplicaciones
SAP_HR     500     0005     SAPKE50005     Gestión de Recursos Humanos
And I using EP 7.0 - 2004s SP11 like ESS frontend.
Any suggestion about this ?
thanks in advance

  • "500 Internal Service Error"

Today we got our BT broadband set. All of our devices (2 laptops, 2 phones and 2 tablets) have connected successfully to the wifi. However, only the laptop will connect to the internet. The other devices are successfully connected when using apps, such a facebook and twitter, however when trying to search anything on the internet provider (web, chrome, safari) a message comes up saying
    "500 Internal Service Error
    Internal Error".
A BT man who was here helping set up the broadband also tried to connect and it wouldn't work on his phone either.
We have tried fully turning off and disconnecting the broadband box and restarting all our devices but the problem still appears. We rang up BT and they told us that the fact this was happening on all of our devices (barre the laptop) is a coincidence and that we just have to give it time and try restarting the BT broadband box (which we tried). He then told us to contact our device providers (apple, kindle, samsung) but I do not believe it is a problem with the devices, but a problem with the BT broadband. Does anyone know why this problem is occurring and a solution to fix it. Thank you.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Turn off "Smart Set Up" and see how you get on.

  • The only websites i can accress are in my bookmarks others say 500 internal service error

When trying to access the internet I get a message that states
500 Internal Server Error. If I try to use search - google or bing I get the 500 Internal Server Error message. If I try to put in a web address I get the same error message. The only sites I can access on the internet are the sites I have saved in my bookmarks. I do have virus protection - Norton.

"Wireless devices use radio transmissions, so unfortunately you can't get Service if your device isn't in range of a transmission signal. And please be aware that even within your Coverage Area, many things can affect the availability and quality of your Service, including network capacity, your device, terrain, buildings, foliage and weather."

While there may be an issue in your area, it is suggested that you don't use wireless service if it's a life or death situation, such as the one you've described.

    Hi,
We  were also having the same problem; but we couldnt find a specific solution for that problem.
But when we upgraded the ESS support packages to SP13 for some other reason this issue was also got resolved.
    May be helpful i guess.
    Regards,
    Vijay

  • ESS iViews - 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi Experts,
    Scenario: ECC 6.0, NW04s, EP 7.0, ESS 1.31, MSS 1.31
I have deployed all necessary components like the SAP MSS 600, SAP ESS 603, SAP PCUI_GP 603, BP for ESS 1.31, BP for MSS 1.31, BP for Common Parts 1.31, BP for Technical Info 1.31.
I have performed all the post deployment config.
When I assign the role ESS, I can see the overview screen. But when I click on any application for ex: Personal Information or Change your data or My Travel Profile or any application for that matter I get an error saying:

    Root Cause
The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

I get the same error for all applications.

    Thnx

    Hi,
I am also facing the same error.
Our R3 System is in ECC 6.0
Our EP 7 System has following ESS/MSS BP's. Taken from System Information.
    BP_ERP5ESS  1.0 SP8 (1000.1.0.8.0.20070308090618)  BP_ERP5MSS  1.0 SP8 (1000.1.0.8.0.20070308090627)  SAP_MSS  600 SP13
    SAP_ESS  603 SP2
    SAPPCUI_GP  603 SP2
You said that the ESS/MSS Version installed in the system may be Incompatible with ECC 6.0.
Am I getting the error because of Incompatibility. If so what would be the Compatible ESS /MSS Version for ECC 6.0.
    Please Help ASAP.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • 500 Internal Server Error invoking web service

I assembled and deployed a (PL/SQL package based) web service to OC4J 9.0.4 like documented in a number of FAQs and tutorials. All went well until I try to invoke a function: I already had to add jasper.zip to the WEB-INF\lib folder to resolve a ClassDefNotFound (and succeeded), but now I receive the following error:
With Mozilla and internet Explorer 6, requesting the address
    http://localhost:8888/samplews/sampleWS?invoke=getproperty
    results in the error
    500 Internal Server Error
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/tools/java/RuntimeConstants
         at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
         at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:620)
Ok, sun/tools/java/RuntimeConstants can be found in tools.jar (I use JDK 1.5.0_06, Oracle 10.1.0.3 and OC4J 9.0.4), so I copied %java_home%\lib\tools.jar to WEB-INF\lib of the deployed web application, restarted OC4J and verified using ProcessExplorer, which JARs and ZIPs had been loaded by "java -jar oc4j.jar". Among many others, I found all extension libraries, including the two I placed in WEB-INF\lib. But alas, still the Servlet Engine seems unable to resolve the package sun/tools/java/RuntimeConstants, despite tools.jar being obviously loaded by java.exe: the error decribed above persists.
    %J2EE_HOME%\log\http-web-site.log contains
    http://localhost:8888/samplews/sampleWS?invoke=getproperty HTTP/1.1" 500 3413
The other log files seem to contain no helpful info.
I'm at my wits end - what can I do? Do I miss something obvious?
Any comment or advice is welcome.

    Hello,
This class is part of the JDK, so could you clarify which JDK you are using and be sure that when starting OC4J you are using a JDK environment (contains for example javac command) and not a JRE (no javac).
Could you check that and post the result in the forum.

  • Sip 503 service unavailable and sip 500 internal server error

Hi guys, could any one help me in the following.
    ITSP-->Voice gateway configured as CUBE-->CUCM-->UCCX
I am moving a system from cme and aa enviroment to cucm and uccx
The VGW is configured as CUBE and also is added as h323 gateway on cucm.
When i tested the debug ccsip messages shows
    Sip 503 service unavailable or
    sip 500 internal server error.
I can't now provide any debugs cause i am not on site, only on Saturday.
As i read in previous discussion that could be the bind source address problem but i had this configured.
Also i tried to configure the gateway instead of h232 to use sip trunk from cucm, but after this the incoming calls didn't even reach the router, the debug ccsip messages showed nothing.
For now can any one advice me to what these 2 errors related to.
    What could be missing?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Error 500--Internal Server Error in Oracle SPARQL Service Endpoint

    Hi,
I followed the instructions of "Setting Up the SPARQL Service" in the developer's guide. However, after I finished all the steps and click "Submit Query" button in Oracle SPARQL Service Endpoint using Joseki page, I got this error message:

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
I can't figure out what's wrong with the service. Can anybody pls help me solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

So I see it is not only a address book issue, though it is the first visible hint you get about it. I also get the Password request window for "Retrieving Response Groups" after the log in.
I looked at similar issues, but what I found was mainly Kerberos issues, but that is not the case here, the user is able to access the folders.

    Hi,
Try the way the following thread mentioned:
