ESS Photo upload: Any way to restrict the size that is uploaded

Folks
Our Employees use ESS to upload their photos
However many employees are loading photos that are very large in size (up to 4MB)
Does anyone know if there is a way to prevent a user from uploading a photo in ESS thats over a particular size

there is no standard customisation available as photo are resized once the employee uploads from change own data in ESS etc
You can use this approach
If you want to make this change available for all users you should
personaliza the Iview. This is the path:
Content Administrator
> Content provided by SAP
     > End User Content
        > Iview
           > Change Own Data
              > Preview
                 > Edit Own Data and include a photo
Then click in the image, press Cntrl + Secondary mouse button:
Change the values of parameter Width and Height according to your needs.
Suggestions:
Width: 150px   or    Width: 170px
Height: 200px         Height: 227px
check the note 1289301
or make some checks in FM HRWPC_RFC_EP_READ_PHOTO_URI

Events are organised strictly on date and time, as read by iPhoto from the Exif data in the Photo. You cannot manually sort.
Create Albums. You can do much more organising with Albums, use Photos from different events, place them as you will. Best of all, Albums use no disk space at all. They simply reference the file on the Hard Disk. So a pic can be 1, 10 or 100 Albums with no wasted disk space whatever.

The endless scrolling technique is far too tedious when trying to add a new bookmark, because the window is simply too tiny. Is there maybe a plug-in that will let me grab the corner of that window and re-size it? Thanks!

I suggest you install the "Add Bookmark to Here2" extension, then you can expand the the list but you will not see the bookmark itself in the list if that is what you wanted. At the top you have three major folders you can select one of them and scroll up and down. Below that you have your most recently used folders and you can select one of them instead and scroll up and down. You can see the folder the bookmark is in -- they get added to the bottom
If you really want to see the bookmark within the folder the same extension allows you to bring the bookmark to the folder from say the bookmarks sidebar that is why it is named as such. I use it but mainly i use the dialog.

If you are not using tags at all, you can remove a whole lot of confusion by removing them from the dialog via the extension.

Is there any way to customize the size of windows in the presenter display?

I have updated keynote to the newest version (6.0). Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can customize any part of the presenter display. I can add or remove windows/panels, but not resize them. Is there really no way to do this? That would be a major drawback and would certainly make me consider going back to a 4+ year-old version of Keynote.

Well, different people have different styles of giving different presentations to different audiences in different venues.
When you have given a couple thousand presentations (and I mean this number literally), you know that requirements vary. That's why a customizable presenter display was a godsend, probably the biggest selling point that Keynote had for serious presenters.
You still can customize, turning features on and off, but you can't influence how a turned-on feature looks like size-wise.
("Looking over your shoulder" doesn't work in all venues, and probably would be recognized as the hallmark of an amateur presenter by most people in the audience who give a lot of presentations themselves.)
You can export from Keynote '13 (Keynote 6) to Keynote '09 (Keynote 5). Keynote '09 seems to run fine on Mavericks, by the way.
Not being able to see the pointer on the presenter display when you use it to point out something on the slideshow display is one thing that was wrong in Keynote '09 and they haven't fixed in Keynote '13.
(Now what I really want to get back is an alternative mode where I can edit the presentation on one screen and show it on the other at the same time...
Powerpoint in Windows was great for that. But that's a completely different style of presentation again.)

Any way to change the size of stack icons?

The icons shown in the stack are way too large for my taste. Is there a way to change their size? Also, can one change the font size in the stack display.
Under 10.4 I used to have a folder full of aliases on the dock. Right clicking on the folder gave me a nice, neat, scrollable list of items. I wish I could force stacks to do that!

Any Way to Change the Size of Figures/Illustrations in ADE

I am running ADE on a Toshiba Laptop running Windows 7. The Figures and/or Illustrations within the book I am reading are all the same size -- small. It does not matter if the window is maxxed to the size of the screen, or if I increase the size of the font, the figures are allways the same size. They are too small and I would like to increase them to be readable. Does anyone know how to do this?

Can you manually drag back and forth with the handles on the timeline? Appreciate it.

Any way to reduce the size of Boot Camp partition?

I made my Boot Camp partition way big and now I'd like to smallify it by about half, down to 60G or so (it's 130G now). Is there any EASY way to do this?

In Vista (Ultimate in my case), RightClick My Computer -> Manage: select Disk Management. In Vista you can shrink your (C:) Boot Camp partition which leaves OS intact but allows another install to new (D:) (extended) volume created within space. In XP, I think same can be done with Diskpart.exe which is in \System32. As I have, you can install another Windows OS to the new partition.
I can't see data from Leopard OS for the extension made, though I can see Ntfs files and copy/paste from original Windows (C:) volume bootcamp set up. I do not know if formatting the new split to Fat 32 would make it a share space for Leopard.

Any way to lock the size of that window? This is a serious, please, help

Camera raw 6.0.0.205, that's what came with CS5. Sorry about getting back to this uninteresting subject, I thougth it was small stuff and it's not.
So every time I open a raw file, I have to play with the bottom right corner, especially to bring up the bottom, which is covering the access "link".
Also the cancel and done button are covered, I do manage to reduce it, I suppose I have to get use to it, but for now, every time I open a file, believe me, it drives me crazy!
The previous version had a nice size, sitting just above the dock. Does it have to do with my new smaller screen, 13"?

By doing that, when being in Photoshop in the top bar, from View in the top menu I am getting zoom in, zoom out, fit on screen and actual pixels. All of them work on the image only and not on the total window, and F from the keyboard doesn't work. The interesting thing is that I got it, yes, a nice window with the bottom information sitting on top of the dock, and the tragic is that I can't replicate it, I just touched something in the top left area of the screen.
I can't post a screen shot of the succesful widow because I went back to View>fit on screen to verify if I got it from there, and I lost it.
All I can tell you is that I pressed something at the top left of the screen, but it's not the hand, because it doesn't work, so there is actually a better way then going crazy with the bottom right corner. Thank you anyway.

I have been using I.E. with myyahoo.com as my homepage and I started having a page freeze for 30 seconds (approx.) 5 or 6 times a session. this is powered thru ATT.net. I thought that Firefox may correct this problem. When I installed Firefox I decided to use myyahoo.com as my home page. Yahoo/IE has a magnifying glass icon in the lower right corner that allows me to increase the print size. When I am on Foxfire the basis text size is 1/16th of an inch! How can I increase this size?????????????

Application manager insisting I "renew my subscription" but I have a standalone version of acrobat. Any way to convince the manager that my product is registered? There does not seem to be any manual additions in the application manager app.

I am using Mac OS X (yosemite). I had a creative cloud student subscription for a year (expired in September) and I did not renew. However, I did purchase adobe acrobat XI. I am not sure of the exact day it stopped working (before or after OS upgrade), but now the application manager takes over after I start acrobat and insists I do not have a subscription and must renew. I checked the web and my product is registered and I have the serial number, which I enter upon installation. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything to no avail. I even contacted adobe and they seemed to have a hard time understanding why I was having a problem since the product was registered. I could not devote much time to the online chat so needless to say, my problem still persists.

When I save a bookmark, the "Bookmark This Page" box is very small, and its hard to choose the proper subcategory because I have to scroll a tiny screen with the mouse. Is there any way to increase the size of this "Bookmark Save" box?
