What is the error you are getting while running it from ODI? I'm assuming that you are getting some error when you said only one is working.
When you install EXCEL Add-in it is changing your path and abrorpath variables and that could be the reason why maxl is not working. If ODI is using a bat file why don't you set temporary variable and try.
in you bat file add these lines (before the maxl call, i would ad them to the start)
SET ARBORPATH=C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient
SET PATH=%ARBORPATH%\bin;%PATH%

  • Resources for first java soap client/server endeavour?

    Hello community,
Im looking for some good resources for setting up a soap server, on apache tomcat, to handle incoming soap messages and send a soap response to the client.
Any links to examples/sample code are greatly appreciated. I am completely new to webservices.
your help is appreciated, thank you.

Christ, how did I mange to make those typos?
You need a webserver to accept the requests, and something like Tomcat to run your web service. Since Tomcat has a webserver (doesn't it include Apache?) already, Tomcat is all you need, but it won't really care whether you send some XML using HTTP or HTML form data using HTTP. It's still HTTP.

  • Log Error : Invalid Input Parameter %s for every SAP B1 Client

    Hi Everybody,
in my company we have performed SAP B1 upgrade from 2007A to 8.81 PL07, in two steps upgrading first to PL04.
Everything is working fine for all our clients, we are able to post and work normally with the system.
The only annoying problem is an error message coming up every minute for every client in the log:
    SQLMessage       Error              I     Technical     Invalid input parameter: %s # #     MID=-1     BOID=-1     BO=     UserID=manager     C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One\SAP Business One.exe     Version=8.81.315     Area=     PID=1316     TID=4340     D:\depot\BUSMB_B1\8.8_SP1_REL\SBO\8.8_SP1_REL\Application\__Engines\DBM\__DBMC_DataBase.cpp     9547
I couldn't find anything regarding this topic in the forum, only one similar post but unanswered.
We are using two server: one for the licence server and one for the database (the database server is clustered)
Does anyone have any idea about this? Has it ever happened to anybody?
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Julie,
it must be a triggered action from the system. The only problem is that log files grow very big, few mb every day, and it is a situation that's not very ideal. And also i don't want to turn them off because it is always a good resource for other errors.
It is very strange that SAP hasn't noticed this behaviour and there isn't any note available for the purpose.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Vijay,
    Thanks for the quick reply.
I have gone through the notes 1535201  & now on 1606563  after your advise.
Both the notes says the fix is available on 7.01 after SP 07 and we are on SP 14 already.
Also just in case I did checked with our basis and they confirmed we are a head and we have the above notes in our release already.
Unfortunately the notes are not the solution to the investigation till date.
    Thanks,
    Sai

  • Error encountered while polling the resource for the service endpoint

    Hello everyone
I'm a newbie on OSB world. Yesterday, I've tried to test OSB with FTP transport and got some problems.
As you see in the title, I've search this forum to get a solution already, but I couldn't find anything. So that I create a new thread.
I created a new OSB project, create a new Proxy service to connect to my FTP server:
    - service type: messaging service
    - request message type: Text, response message type: None
    - FTP transport: external user (I used a Service account), Post read action: archive, transfer mode: ascii, some directories needed were created in /tmp directory
    - Message flow: Start node -> pipeline pairs
in request pipeline of pipeline pairs node: i created a new stage: Assign action -> Log (to get file contents, error severity) -> Assign -> Log (get file name)
The expected results are: file file content and file name (display in osb console) after I submit a text file to ftp server (using test console or ftp client)
But, some error occur continuously after I submit a text file (I can get the file content because error raise and log catch it). The error message is show below:

My question is how to solve this problem.
    Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thank atheek1, I remember that I didnt do any manual configuration on my domain :). I use that domain for testing so that I will create a new domain for comparison.

  • Could not find the principal resource for user id: paf

I think I have set up iCal server correctly on a MacOSX 10.5.1 server (upgraded from 10.4.x). But regardless of how many different URLs etc I am trying, I can neither access calendars, nor subscribe to them. I am trying both with Safari and Firefox and iCal client on MacOSX 10.5.1.
    I have iCal service running.
I have added the user "paf" that have full admin access, and also calendar service is turned on on the server calendar.frobbit.se. Calendar.frobbit.se is one of the hostnames for the server btw.
I have a group called "canusecalendar" that "paf" is a member of.
The access for iCal service on the host is for the group canusecalendar and for the user paf, where paf is administrator.
The closest I have come is when I use a web browser and try to access any URL starting with http://calendar.frobbit.se:8008/. It ask for login, I give the credentials, and in the error log for the iCal service I see the following:
<pre>2008-02-10 20:46:57+0100 [-] [caldav-8009] [AMP,client] Could not find the principal resource for user id: paf</pre>
I do see tons of postings by people that more or less guess what URIs to use in browsers, for group calendars, in iCal client when connecting to an account or subscribing. Does anyone on this list know of an authoritative list of URLs that one should use here and there? The closest I have come is the "advanced" section of the iCal Administration document from Apple.

Yes, I add users using workgroup manager, although the one I now use was added already in version 10.4 of MacOSX Server. I.e. before I upgraded to 10.5.

  • "Missing signed entry in resource" for only some users

    Hi,
I have recently updated my .jnlp file and .jar file and added some extra jar resources in the new jnlp.
Since this new version, some users receive an error saying
"Missing signed entry in resource:" for one particular resource.
While for other users it works fine.
I have signed the jar with jarsigner.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem here?
    Thanks very much in advance,
    Best regards,
    Stein Aerts,
    University of Leuven, Belgium

I remember hearing something like this, and had to do with :
1.) what version of jarsigner was used to sign the jar, and
2.) what version of JRE was used to validate the signed jar file on the client.
(including US only vs. International version of JRE)
For the jar that gets this error:
Does it have any empty directories in it., or does it have entries with non-english characters in the resource names ?
What version of the JDK was used to run jarsigner to sign this jar, and what jre is the application running on ?

  • " Server Error [2009]: Failed to allocate resources for results data" IR Error

    Hi,
We recently moved form 9.3.3. to 11.1.2.3 and we run only IR and SQR reports. When we run few IR reports we get the below error.
"Script(x):uncaught exception:  Server Error [2009]: Failed to allocate resources for results data."
Any thought on what could be the cause. I changed the DSA setting, HTTP config settings for timeouts. I followed a oracle Knowledge base document to make sure I'm setting the right parameters still it doesn't work.
    Any advise will be appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
Can you please try to increase the timeout settings for workspace and check the issue.
You can refer following KM article for more information :
Hyperion Interactive Reporting (IR) When Processing a BQY in Web Client and iHTML Error: "Server Error [2009] Failed To Allocate Resources To Results Data" [ID 1089121.1]
To try in 11.1.2.x check these settings in workspace :
Please go to Navigate -> Administer -> Reporting and Analysis -> Web Applications -> Right click on RA_FRAMEWORK_LWA and select Properties. A
Window pops up. In that, go to Applications tab and then go to Data Access Servlet. There are two values there
    i) Hyperion Intelligence Client Polling Time(seconds) => Set this to zero
ii) DAS Response Timeout => Set this to 3600
Restart the R&A services and WebApp after this change.
    Hope this information helps.
    regards,
    Harish.

  • New ALchemy settings for some major games for Win7 (64-bit)...

[color="#ff0000"]Update 2/0/0 - Added Sid Meier's Civilization V: Ok this game is so hard to find in the registry because it uses a completely radically new type of installer that basically is a hybrid installer based on pulling the steam client game updates for Civ V and the data from the actual Civ V install DVD. The definiti've install location is similar to other steam apps are installed @ location C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v. (The blue part is common for the majority of all steam installed games locations. Finding this for Civ V was not so easy, however.
Here is the actual entry you should add to your ALchemy.ini file and is the ONLY location that points to the aforementioned correct install path in the entire HKLM tree that is valid. This is truly a very very unique and bizarre and radically new way to find and detect correct install path strings without resorting to using the GAMEUX path (which is different on everyones computer). This path is indentical for all Civ V installs and therefore the most valid. The ALchemy team needs to address these new radical ways that game companies are injecting the install string into the registry in the future or ALchemy will start to break big time. Notice its the Uninstall path that actually functions as the only correct static install path for the game. Its a dual use path. Very clever!

    The original post:
I was playing around with the D:\Program Files (x86)\Creative\ALchemy\ALchemy.ini file to force ALchemy to run with all the games on my computer. After I changed the reg paths in this .ini file all the games I had on my computer started working with ALchemy running in Windows 7 64-bit. Windows 7 registry paths for some major game titles I play are NOT in the standard location that the ALchemy.ini file has them as which is why they never get registered. I run a 64-bit version of Windows 7 so the path is slightly different then the default ones in the .ini file. Here is what I added/changed and all these games now register with ALchemy and work! Game heading bolds are my addition in this post and not how they look like in the .ini file to help see the game titles better.
I tend to shy away from any GAMEUX registry strings (for example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\GameUX\S--5-2-837354825-494596859-745999896-00\{AFF227C-B0BB-49A5-8DFF-E87FDB864D}\ConfigApplicationPath) as they may be different for one computer to the next as they look identical to a SID string which changes radically as it is created when the game is installed. The strings should be static so they would appear identical on my computer as they would on yours. Having a string in the install path that looks like above just gives me the creeps that it is not valid. Since I only have my computer to compare this against I am not positi've of this. Just to be sure stay away from GameUX strings that are alphanumeric in nature as they can change from computer to computer or reinstall to reinstall making ALchemy fail. More on this at the bottom of this post.

I left the Preset= in all of them to have default settings. You can change or add the additional options to your pleasure but I find the defaults to work just fine. Here are all the settings for the options from the top of the .ini file.
    ;Creative ALchemy titles
    ;Format/Options:
    ;? [TITLE]
;? RegPath <-- registry path containing string to executable or executable's directory (use this when available; alternati've is GamePath)
;? GamePath <-- Directory to look for app (use if RegPath can't be used)
    ;? Buffers <-- #buffers to use (default is 4)
;? Duration <-- buffer duration (default is 25)
;? DisableDirectMusic <-- disable DirectMusic support (default is False)
;? MaxVoiceCount <-- maximum number of voices to support (default is 28)
;? SubDir <-- subdirectory offset off of path pointed to by RegPath for library support (default is empty string)
;? RootDirInstallOption <-- option to install translator support in both RegPath and SubDir directories (default is False)
Notice if you do a clean reinstall of your games in Windows 7 the game paths are in actuality in the reg path of \Wow6432Node and not just the raw HKLM\Software location due to the way the 64-bit architecture restructures its registry keys to work with 32-bit games (as many of these still are in fact).
The duration and such you can play with but I just left the settings as they were and changed the executable path location that ALchemy needs to find and work with the game is all. If you reinstall Star Wars Galaxies the new Station Launcher will put the game folder under its location and therefore it may be different in your registry. SWG (and Cabal to some extent) is the only game in this list that specifically points to an abnormal location in the registry for the install path due to the way it is launched from a voicechat type of application (The Station Launcher). But at least it works this way, so I don't care too much. I even got my classic game Sid Meier's Pirates! to work with ALchemy, yay! For Cabal I used the uninstall location for the true install path. I assume as long as the path is valid, it will work and it shows up in the ALchemy window, yay!
[color="#ff0000"]Please verify these paths in your registry do in fact have these valid regitry entries using regedit or regedt32 and not just modify the .ini file as I have shown above.
    GameUX strings
There is one game I can not find any verifiable path for in the registry and that's Sid Meier's Colonization =(? If anyone has a clue where this path is stored or how to edit the .ini file to reflect the correct location and work with ALchemy please let me know! I have tried this location:
    [Sid Meier's Colonization]
    RegPath=HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Wind ows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\S--5-2-837354825-494596859-745999896-00\{AFF227C-B0BB-49A5-8DFF-E87FDB864D}\ConfigApplicationPath
    Preset=
...but it does not seem to like the GameUX registry path at all and won't detect it. Probably because its a specialized SID (in other words, the SID will be different on my computer then it is on yours) and ALchemy does not know how to transpose SID registry entries for it to work. GameUX is basically the registry location for all your Games as they are stored under the Start > Game location of your desktop. So if anyone can figure out how to include Direct3D games that are older but do not have a valid installation registry entry please let us know! Of course I could just use the full true path in this .ini file but I am not sure how that would look like and I don't want to break ALchemy for the games it does work with. So I stuck with just valid registry entries.
I own an X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card with version .4.02 of ALchemy running on Windows 7 64-bit as of this post.

Why are you adding new games to alchemy No new games use eax and surround sound should work properly without it. The alchemy team doesnt need to do anything for the future of the program because it's for legacy games. You really don't? need to add wow6432node because it should read it anyways on 64 bit systems. At least it does with the 6 games i have installed. That steam regpath will work on any steam game. you just need to change the app number. About the only games that I have that need it are the old gold source games and far cry because for some reason the original reg path isnt on there. You really should update your alchemy version to 43.06 because the previous versions have problems with windows 7 and some games wont work right unless you change a .dll file to a older one.
A few things about your post.
) Alchemy does not automatically detect the registry path settings as you have been misled for a lot of games you have to manually tell it where it goes. Hence this post.
    2) You are completely missing the point of ALchemy, which is to add the depth of audio in games (yes even new ones) which is lacking without them using just EAX.
    3) ALchemy is for new games not just legacy ones. hence why I have added the keys for both.
    4) I have had numerous ppl tell thank me for posting this thread and their games now are read by ALchemy. If you choose to not follow this thread its you choice. No worries =)
    5) My updater does not show any version besides 4.02 and I dont look for something even newer in some obscure forum post or whatnot. Official beta drivers from Creative tend to be less then stellar in performace (if any indicitation is by how their li've drivers are its even worse in their beta flavors). When I do the auto update it returns:
Status: No updates are necessary for your Creative product.
Your system already has the latest versions installed.

  • Multiple IT Resources for LDAP Server?

    All,
I have a client with several Sun Java System Directory Server (SJSDS) instances, each containing separate user repositories. The schemas for each SJSDS instance have been customised - uid is not the user identifier attribute, nor is inetorgperson the user objectClass.
I have imported the SJSDS connector and am stuck at how I can represent these multiple real-world SJSDS instances in OIM. I understand that I can create separate IT Resources for each SJSDS instance, complete with their individual hostnames and IP addresses; this makes sense. However, according to the "Extending the Functionality" guide (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11223_01/doc.904/e10446/custom.htm#CIHDDEGA), the user identifier attribute and objectClass seem to be defined at the connector level through the Lookup.iPlanet.Configuration Lookup Definition? Am I correct in therefore assuming that this means all of my LDAP Server IT Resources have to share the same user identifier attribute and objectClass?
Can anyone suggest how I might be able to define unique settings for attributes such as the user identifier attribute and objectClass for each LDAP Server IT Resource? What is the standard approach?
Also, I read that there is a one-to-one relationship between a process task and its adapter. Does this therefore mean that I should create separate "Create User" adapters for the Process Definition associated with each IT Resource implemented?
Any guidance / clarification would be greatly appreciated :-)
    Damian

See this is the underlying assumption for multiple instances creation in OIM for any target system:
    - Create multiple IT Resources of same IT Resource type. Each one will have individual connection parameters specified in it. You know that.
    - Now while provisioning, you just select anyone of this IT Resource as required, so your request is directed towards the required target.
    Note
    - It considers that you are always provisioning same attributes to all those targets because you will always see same process form for all targets.
    - You have same objectClass for all.
    - You have same 'Unique Attribute' and 'Key Fields' for reconciliation.
    - Although you can modify the IT Resource for providing different attribute list for prov and recon based on your target system by providing different values for look up's in place of- AttrName.Prov.Map.iPlanet and AttrName.Recon.Map.iPlanet. But since RO, Process Form etc all are same so no such real usage.
Note - Lookup - 'AttrName.Prov.Map.iPlanet' has got one attribute objectclass. See if modifying it works. But in OIM process form, attributes will always be same
    Work-Around if above doesn't work
The only thing you can do is replicate one instance of SJSDS multiple times within OIM for every OIM object. Say if you want 5 different instances of SJSDS then like following:
    - Create 5 identical RO, Process Form, rules, Process Definition, Lookup's etc within xml for every OIM object that you thing will change for all these 5 instances. If anything is common then let all the 5 refer to it. Do it by copying + renaming xml.
    - Now import everything in OIM. So now you can see 5 different RO like SJSDS1, SJSDS2 ,SJSDS3 .. etc for all these 5 instances and they will behave differently with no overlapping and you can configure these individually.
    - But this is very critical procedure. You need to take proper care while replicating.
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks

  • Cannot directly book a resource for this meeting after Exchange2007 to Exchange2013 migration

    Hi,
I’ve migrated a customer from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 successfully. However. There are troubles with booking resources. Users receive the following error message when booking a resource: Direct Booking – Cannot directly book a resource for this meeting.
The user follows the following procedure:
The user opens his/her ‘own agenda’, create a meeting, use Scheduling Assistant to schedule a meeting with another user and to add a Room. When hitting Send the above message appears.
When the user has Full Control to the resource mailbox and the user opens the agenda of the resource directly and follows the above procedure in the ‘resource agenda’ he/she is able to book the resource without a problem (this workaround is not preferred
    as a final solution).
To fix this, I’ve tried the following:
Add a registry key to the client. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Options\Calendar\EnableDirectBooking (0)
Turn cache mode ON, this works.
However for some users cache mode must be turned off, so this workaround doesn’t apply for all the users.
I worked with Full Control permissions on the resource, so that the user is able to book directly from the ‘resource agenda’.
    Some more information:
Public Folders are not in use anymore.
There are several clients in the environment:
    Windows XP with Outlook 2007
    Windows 7 with Outlook 2007
Windows 7 with Outlook 2010  (I do not have a confirmation if these symptoms also apply on these clients as well).
Does anyone has a final solution for me?
Or how can I troubleshoot this any further?
    Thanks in advance,
    Yuri

    Hi,
