ESSO Suite Plus 11.1.1.2.0, synchronization

Hi @ all,
i try to build an evaluation sample for ESSO Suite Plus 11.1.1.2.0 and i am stuck with the synchronization between esso-lm and an openLdap directory. The openLdap schema is successfully extended and the directory is accessible over esso-lm console. So i can create the people container in the repository. And that is it, i can't go any further :(
Another question i have is: must all users be first created in the people container or can it be done on some automatically way?
And last one: i still have not found documentation in pdf form for esso-lm console, is there any? The dynamic help doesn't contain any sceenshots of the ui ... something like the esso-lm doc would be great.

Normally with openldap you would set up an conatiner for ESSO for example OU=ESSO. Inside this OU create an SSOConfig container for templates and also your People container for user credentials.
This would give you for example OU=SSOConfig,OU=ESSO,DC=Domain,DC=Com and OU=People,OU=ESSO,DC=Domain,DC=Com
To set up synchronisation with OpenLDAP you also need to add a vgolocator object. This object links an LDAP user account to the user’s application credentials stored in the People OU. When the user logs in, the agent traverses the tree up from the user’s object until vGOLocator is found. vGOLocator provides the agent with the path to the People OU. The vgolocator object needs to be placed in the container with the existing user accounts or at least at the same level as the user root container.
The locator object is called Default and should point to the OU=ESSO,DC=Domain,DC=Com . The agent will automatically look for the People OU inside this container.
If anonymous bind is not enabled then you will need to provide an account that can bind in the GAS sync settings.
The People container you have created does not need to be pre-populated with users. These user credential containers are automatically created when a user first registers for ESSO.
