Estelle's "American Boy" Glitch?

I just decided to download Estelle's "American Boy" featuring Kanye West today and discovered that it had completely disappeared off iTune's virtual shelves! What went wrong?? I've been reading around and apparently just yesterday it was number 6 in the iTunes Top 100!
I don't think this is acceptable at all! Estelle's entire recent album, "Shine", has disappeared and the only version available of "American Boy" is a so-called "tribute" to the original on an album called "Pop Picks" (which is essentially "Kidz Bop"). What's up? Is there a problem with Estelle's album? Can anyone answer this question? Doubtless the producers of "Pop Picks" have made money off of the glitch (or created it themselves) because many people have purchased their track on accident, confused as to why iTunes wouldn't offer a hugely popular song.

It's a known issue, but AFAIK, there's not a known remedy. The problem has been around since AppleWorks 5 or earlier. You'll find the it extends to the clip art supplied with AppleWorks as well.

Itunes won't copy over some of my podcasts and purchases since I have moved it to an external hardrive

So I Have moved over all my purchases and everything to an external hardrive. I did everything right and my itunes story works perfectly fine. However one of my podcasts (yugioh the abridged series) won't copy over along to the ipod saying its file type is not supported by the ipod. It only does this with the first 8 episodes (if you find it you will see them) one of which (the bbt movie) worked perfectly fine on my ipod before but now for some reason it won't. This doesn't work. The iOS4 upgrade has wiped out synchronization to Outlook to the phone and back. There are many threads on this here, and Apple has yet to address this issue.

Appletv 2 netflix glitching and constantly buffering

netflix on my apple tv 2 keeps glitching, such as mouths dont match the words and picture is not HD quality its blurry/fuzzy.
ive reconnected to my wifi and have restarted and unplugged my apple tv too see if it would help, but nothing has seemed to work yet. i did have my dns code changed over so i could watch american netflix but since ive changed it back to the automatic dns code and settings. it has been having these problems... help?):

Have you tried Ethernet?
Go to istumbler, netstumbler or similar to get a network report. Look for signal strength, noise and nearby networks

My security information is glitched with iTunes

So, I decided I would Pre-order American Sniper with the $30.00 credit I just added to my account.
I recently reset my security info, and as you all know, you need to answer your security questions in order to make purchase anything for the first time- but I reset it whilst It was prompting me to put in my old security info a few days ago, and It messed up a lot. It's glitched and when It prompts me to enter my security info, this happens.
I've reset iTunes and my computer multiple times an I am clueless as to what I should do- or how I can even purchase anything,

Im trying to register me and my visa and Im from canada and it keeps kicking me to a american address

I have filled out all the forms and Im Canadian. That part works . Then when I go to fill in the billing info the computer or page will not accept me as a Canadian and keeps kicking me into an american address therefore not allowing me to register my visa. I want to purchase APP's but this glitch is not allowing me to do so. please advise

You must use a US bankcard with a US billing address or you cannot access the iTunes or the App Stores. Otherwise, you must log onto your store in Canada.

Oddest glitch with the Intel Wifi Wireless Link N 1000

This is the oddest glitch with the card found above in the title (also known as the Centrino Wireless N 1000), but, after you install the driver, it doesn't work right away. After rebooting, the card wouldn't power up automatically with the laptop - you have the physically click the wifi button, then go into the network manager to turn on the wireless card, then choose the network. This is only right away - oddly enough, from what I experienced, after waiting several hours, then turning on the laptop, the card powers up. I do not know what causes this, or fixes it, but I experienced it many times after installation.
Steps I took that lead to this -
-Download firmware, put it in /lib/firmware/
-Install wireless-tools
-modprobe -r iwlagn ; modprobe iwlwifi (in a terminal boys)
-Wait a couple hours, it works upon booting, but not right away. You can reboot 12 times after installation and it will not work, I have done so rebooting 21 times.

What firmware? You shouldn't need to download any additional firmware for this card.
You probably don't need to modprobe anything at all - it should be automatic.

I can assure you that the driver exhibits no such issues here.

Adobe never supported PSE 3 on Vista -- the earliest officially supported version was 5.0.2. Some people have had success running earlier versions in compatibility mode -- right-click the program icon, select Properties, and click on the Compatibility tab.

American & European Sockets

Hi! I'm planning on buying a MacBook. I'm living in Europe, but some of my friends usually travel to America, and I'd like them to bring me one.
My question is: Can I charge my MacBook, despite of the socket differences? Or can I switch the American cable with an European one? Will this work, and will this solve the problem?
Or is there any other way of solving this problem?

True story. I'm a NYC boy and last year I was in Scotland with the wrong adapter (European, not UK). I trudged from drug store to electronic store, finally found this hidey-hole Apple Store in Glasgow, willing at that point just to buy a new MacBook power-cube. There was a young kid behind the counter. I told him my problem and he said, "We don't have replacements at the moment, and we have no adapters, but all you need is a compatible power cord." He pulled off the adapter's duck-head ... and like a perfect idiot, I found myself staring at something I'd seen dozens of times before, but not truly registered: a blatantly obvious figure-8 female port, like the kind you might find on the back of a DVD player or VCR, for a removable power cord. "The DC converter is the Apple cube," the kid explained, "so all you need is the juice." And he sold me a generic UK power cord with the male figure-8 input, which slipped right into the port -- that I could have gotten cheaper at any drug store, but by then I was exhausted and grateful.
So dude ... just get yourself a generic figure-8 power cord compatible with the country you'll be in. The only thing I might advise is not to buy one TOO cheaply; I've read that when it comes to electricity cables, the ones in the dollar stores are often made of inferior material. (Indeed, I've bought spares at both Radio Shack and the dollar store, and the latter are sheathed with much softer plastic which seems less sturdy.)
Finally -- even if you're not traveling, it's good to have a couple figure-8 cords around anyway; because when that Apple duck-head plug weakens and refuses to stay in the wall socket, the figure-8 power cord takes care of the problem.

How do I add multiple tickets under the same confirmation number from the American Airlines app to Passbook?

I have a confirmation number from American Airlines for a flight with my family all under my name and for some reason I cannot add all of our tickets to Passbook. To clarify, I went to the American Airlines app and put in the confirmation number along with my name which pulled up my boarding pass only. Although I was able to add this boarding pass to Passbook, I was not able to add any of the other boarding passes for my children to Passbook that should have also been under the flight reservation. In fact I couldn't even see them in the American Airlines app. I tried to use their names and the same confirmation number but nothing happened, and nothing else seems to be working. How can I add all of these boarding passes to my Passbook?

I started doing this before unlimited data and emails on phones was a common commodity, on my Samsung Blackjack.
I then continued it due to its convenience. My only counter argument is this:
Even when emails are set to immediately push, I am always notified earlier by this forwarding message (sometimes by several minutes/hours due to the fact that it is not dependent on my being connected to 4G or wifi to receive it.
Also, to contradict snozdop's point that both methods use data and battery, I say this - when I use the forwarding method, the information comes in a pure text format and therefore uses considerably less information than an HTML and CSS rich email, with embedded images and such -also, unlimited text messages aids curve costs.
I will, however, give this method a go. In any case, a solution to my original question would still be greatly appreciated.

Apple menu / System Preferences / Keyboard / Input sources.
Click + (bottom left) and in the pane that comes up, select Danish on the left, and click Add.
Of course that can only change what the keys actually input, not what is written on the keys. If you wish to change the physical look of the keys as well, get in touch with Apple and ask if they can replace the keyboard.

How to get week of a year in American Standard

Hi,
I know it might be a repetitive question, but did not find a convincing solution to it in any of the previous threads. I am looking for a function (user defined, if someone has already written it) to return me the week of the year, in American Standard. i.e,the week should start on Sunday and end on Saturday (and NOT from Monday to Sunday)
01/03/2010 - Should be the start of 1st week of 2010...... 01/10/2010 will be the start of second week and so on
01/04/2009 - Should be the start of 1st week of 2009...... 01/11/2009 will be the start of second week and so on.
Does any one have a function that takes a date as input and returns back the week of the year in this above format? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The reason is in the docs:
An ISO week always starts on a Monday and ends on a Sunday.
* If January 1 falls on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, then the ISO week that includes January 1 is the last week of the previous year, because most of the days in the week belong to the previous year.
* If January 1 falls on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, then the ISO week is the first week of the new year, because most of the days in the week belong to the new year.It depends on what your requirement asks.
If you need to prevent any January 1st that fall on Monday to Thursday from becoming your week 1 you'd probably have to adjust that implementation and fine tune it further.
Let us know if that will do or what your rule would be otherwise.

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select Canada.
