Ethernet was gone suddenly.

Hello everyone:
I'm experiencing a strange phenomenon which began yesterday.
I have three macs in my home; 1 mac mini, 1 mac mini server, and 1 macbook (pro). They were purchased within 1 year, and softwares were updated recently.
Until the event, the network had worked very fine.  Details are Time Warner Cable modem (I have no idea on the model no.), Belkin wireless router, all of three macs were connected both through the wirelessly and wirely. I didn't have any problems in network setting.
Yesterday morning, I found that there's no wifi and no ethernet working in home.
I tried to reset the Belkin router... but failed to recover it.
I replace it with Axler 8-port ethernet hub (made by LG), which had been working fine previously before I purchased the Belkin.
---> Oddly enough, only one port is working which is connect to the macbook.
---> In network preference of mac mini server, it appears 'ethernet cable unplugged'!!
---> In network preference of mac mini, it appears 'no ip address'.
Port number seems not important. Only the macbook can find the proper network connected to any port of ethernet hub. But others cannot.
This phenomenon persisted when removing the macbook from the hub. Other macs can never establish the proper ethernet networking. Before yesterday, all is fine and there's not any problem in networking.
I need your urgent help.
Thanks.
Younsuk.

experienced same problem on iMac this morning ( also just updated to 10.6.8 )
System profile even said there was no ethernet card installed
I reset the PRAM and that clear everything up.
instructions below from Apple.
RResetting PRAM
A small amount of your computer’s memory, called “parameter random-access memory” or PRAM, stores certain settings in a location that Mac OS X can access quickly. The particular settings that are stored depend on your type of Mac and the types of devices connected to it. The settings include your designated startup disk, display resolution, speaker volume, and other information.
To reset your computer’s PRAM:
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.Continue holding the keys down until the computer restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Use System Preferences to restore your settings.
