ETM View in IE01/IE02

Hi All,
I need some information related ETM view in IE01/IE02 , where that view should be enable and what is the purpose of this ?
I have not done any configuration changes even Legal team escalate such issue related to ETM view in IE01/IE02,
They said :
For ETM, the audit measurement is NOT based on the documents created. It is based on equipment’s that are relevant for ETM. The Equipment’s relevant for ETM will have ETM view enabled in IE01/IE02 transactions and ETM data will be filled.
The audit program counts the number of such equipment’s. If you are not using many of these ETM equipment’s then you can archive them using archiving object PM_EQUI. Once you run Preproc for equipment master data a deletion flag status is set and it is no longer counted for ETM audit.
and if we don't want to do archive then we can set eqp to be fictious in ETM view , then the eqp can't be used for shipping docs and will not be counted for audit.
Please help in this matter.

Hello Abhishek,
the measurement for ETM (Equipment and Tools Management) is based on the number of equipments records relevant for ETM. The audit program counts all record relevant for ETM of the database table EQUI which have no deletion flag and have the following attributes:
Item/Multipart Indicator j_3gkzmeng ne space - Indicates whether you are dealing with a single piece of equipment/an equipment item (for example, an excavator) or equipment made up of several parts (for example, formwork or scaffolding).
Fictitious Indicator j_3gfiktiv eq space - Indicates whether you are dealing with a single piece of equipment/an equipment item (for example, an excavator) or equipment made up of several parts (for example, formwork or scaffolding).

Hi Folks,
I need to Autopopulate the selected value for the 'ABC Indic' dropdown within the 'Location Data' group, under 'Organization' tab in IE01/IE02/IE03, based on a given Business condition for equipment numbers.
The field pertains to ABCKZ of table ILOA (And subsequently in the database view ITOB)
This standard field is made visible in the transactions via configuration.
I understand that I need to make this change using the User exit 'EXIT_SAPLITO0_002'. However, I do not seem to be having a handle to the field ABCKZ as an exporting/changing parameter in any of the exporting structures ISTRU_EQ / ISTRU_EZ / IFLO_USR1). Since this is not a custom field , i am not sure if I must include it as a custom include in one of the afore mentioned structures. ( Even if this were to be done, IFLO_USER1 [which is the exit mod structure for ILOA] does not have a Customer Include)
All I need is a handle to the field, so that i can make the required change and the update will happen without any further interventions.
Any pointers to this issue would be very helpful.

In my current project, there are some characteristics configured in Equipment related transactions(IE01, IE02,IE03). But now we want to add another characteristic, but I do not know how. Please help. Configuration steps in detail is preferred.

Measuring points check in IE01 / IE02

Dear all,
When user create or change an Equipment (IE01 / IE02) , the user should input field in Measuring points/counters.
Is there any Exits or BADIs for this transaction.

Hi,
Read the documentation of customer exit component EXIT_SAPMIEQ0_001.
In program SAPMIEQ0 (Equipment change), on click on save button:
1) In you customer exit, read data from measuring points program, i.e. check LIMR0TOP include of function group IMR0 to identify the internal table / structures that contain the data for measuring points in program SAPLIMR0 screen 4110. This way you would come to know if the user has entered data for measuring points. If not, error out.
you can use the syntax using field symbols to read data from other program:
Sample code (not related to measuring point program.
DATA : var1 TYPE char25 VALUE '(SAPLIMSP)ISSM[]'.
DATA : var2 TYPE char25 VALUE '(SAPLIMSP)SCRGNTAB[]'.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_issm> TYPE ANY TABLE,
<fs_grtab> TYPE ANY TABLE.
ASSIGN (var1) TO <fs_issm>.

Enhancements for IE01 / IE02

Hi,
When I create or modify an equipment by IE01/IE02 transactions, I want update Cost Center field ( Organization tab ) with the value of License Number ( Sales and distribution tab ). I have another needs to update automatically "Sort field" , "Planning Plant" and "Location" .
The only interested enhancement by CMOD is IEQM0007, but in the include ZXEQMU07 the new values are not update in the screen equipment. There is the data field INHER with value range R, H or D.
The BAdI definition like EQUI_SCR* is only provided for SAP internal use, I don't know why ?
For information, we are in SAP 4.7 WAS 6.20 release.

in that enhancement just check fn module(s) whether it is passing the screen data or not? if it is not
just check in debug mode in the fn module screen data is getting the value or not.
assign it to export parameter value.
here i am giving a example.
i have appended structure field ZZOP1 in afru table.
i have added AFRUD-ZZOP1 screen field in the std screen.
and ES_AFRUD-ZZOP1 is the export param of the fn module exit.
ES_AFRUD-ZZOP1 = AFRUD-ZZOP1.
it is updating afru table automatically by only this.
when ever i press save button after filling it is triggering EXIT_SAPLITO0_001
for displaying it is triggering EXIT_SAPLITO0_002
so can u tell me how to update the equi table .
can i write like in the z include of that one EXIT_SAPLITO0_002

IE01/IE02 i create attachment by services for object for equipment.
But I want to collective list attachment by equipment, not by individual equip to display.
How to do that? or which table can i find the info?

I don't think there are any [Generic Object Services|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/be/3fe63659241157e10000009b38f889/frameset.htm] (GOS) transactions to mass update objects...
I suspect you would need to develop a custom BDC program for this purpose.

Ie01 configuration data

Hi,
I want to assign equipment to a variant material. but i can't see the tab page "configuration data" in equipment creation program (ie01-ie02-ie03). Could you help me how I can find?

i was creating the eqipment by taking a reference equipment and the configuration material tab was coming default. This time the eqipment number was created by somebody else.
material and serial numbers has already been mentioned
For the variant, we have assigned equipments before so there is no problem in materials master for the variant. Serial number profile was mentioned before.
Plant type and storage locations come automatically as we process the eqipment.
I could not understand the user status? My problem still continues

Equipment category and Authorization (4.6C)

Hi,
The Business requires us to control IE01/IE02 by "Equipment category" types. Already taalked to security folks. But looks like there is no authorization object to control by "Equipment category". There is only one field "EQTYP" but that is not related to any of the Authorization Objects. How do we take care of this? We don't want the users to change or create all the equipment types. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Not sure if you can control as expected. But further operation against a equipment can be controlled using authorisation groups. Extract IMG help of the node is mentioned below for easy reference.
Define Authorization Groups
Use
In this Customizing activity, you define authorization groups for your technical objects. Authorization groups are used to categorize similar objects from the point of view of authorizations.
Activities
Create the authorization groups for your technical objects.
Example
You have two maintenance departments, truck fleet and production. There is a series of equipment in the system for both departments. You want to ensure that a user 'A' may only process equipment of the truck fleet, and a user 'B' may only process equipment from the production area.
To do this, define two authorization groups and assign these to the two users 'A' and 'B' in their user master record.
The equipment must also be assigned to the two authorization groups.
The two users can then only process objects from their own user department.
Notes
If no authorization group is entered in an object, the check is not carried out. If this is the case, the user may process the object.

Hi,
I am using BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE in order to copy BOM from a plant to another plant. All is good except flag STLKZ which is not marked in plant destination.
Somebody knows something about this field? What is the table?

Hi,
Please check the following Tcodes for BOM Creation.
- CS01 : BOM create
- CS02: BOM Change
- CS03: BOM display
Please check which type of BOM.
1.Material BOM (or)
2.Equipment BOM (or). (Tcode : IE01,IE02,IE03)
Pre requisites are material master record for the materials.
What you have to keep in mind is:
1. BOM creation is through CS01 only.
2. When you have to create multilevel BOM, you have to carry craetion of BOM level by level.
3. First create BOM for assemblies (means materials which are produced inhouse, means materials with procurement type "E" in the material master MRP 2 view).
4. Finally create BOM for the finished product using these assemblies as components.
5. When you see the BOM of finished part after creation through CS03, you can find these assemblies with a tick mark in the field "Assembly". When you double click you can see the susequent BOM of these assemblies.
6. Example would be for a vehicle suppose engine, front wheel, back wheel are the "E"parts. Create BOM first for these engine, front wheel and backwheel with respective material components.
Then create BOM for vehicle with these three "E".
When you see the BOM of vehicle after creation, you can see a tick mark against these E parts which shows that they have BOM furtehr down and you can double click and see the components of these

MAST    - BOM Group to Material
MARA-MATNR > MAST>STLNR > STKO>STLNR

Attach Document Object Services to a custom WD application(GOS)

Hello Experts,
Background:
We are developing a custom Web Dynpro application which would provide similar functionalities of SAP native transactions IE01/IE02/IE03.
In the SAP native transaction on the top left corner there is a button 'Service for Object'. In other terms it is called as GOS application through which user can attach multiple documents/notes related to that Equipment.
Requirement:
My customer wants similar type of functionality to be included to the custom WD screens (IE01/IE02 and IE03).
The list of documents which user would attach through WD should display through SAP native tcodes (IE01/02/03) and vice versa.
Is there any SAP delivered WD component through which I can achive those functionalities by just having a UI development.
Or any other tips to achieve it ?
I try to find through existing blogs but unfortunately I could not find anything related to my requirement. As a last option I might go by a custom development with the help of CL_GOS* API's.

Did you try this FM SO_DOCUMENT_REPOSITORY_MANAGER, in WD? IF you have the Business Object for IE01, then you can make use of this FM.

Report or FM to Upload and save a file to SAP

Hello All,
I have a requirment to upload a file and save it into SAP ( Something similar to attaching a Document to a standard SAP transaction say IE01/IE02 transaction ).
I want to store a document for each record of an ALV grid report. That is, each row on the ALV grid can have a link to a document. Also a new document can be uploaded and saved for each row.
If any one has worked on a similar requirment , please do write back.

For the html form, u need:

i think you cannot default this value from configuration, check is there any screen variant exist for your transactions IE01/IE02, else may be any user exit is active on the equipment master transactions.
Take help of your ABAPer and verify the above.

Add customer field in IH08 selection-screen

I need to add 1 customer field ZZ to the selection screen IH08 in order to search equipments by the ZZ field.

I use enhacemente ITOB0001 to add one field to the screen of equipments (IE01, IE02 and IE03) and that is working perfectly.
In IH08, i put an append structure on structure RIHEQUI_LIST in order to the ZZ field could be seen in the ALV list. But, my problem is to make that ZZ field searchable... I need to search equipment on IH08 by the ZZ field.
I look on SPRO, for the equipments lists customization, i made tests and tests but nothing works...
If anybody knows how to solve this, please help me.
Other chance is to develop a Z program... But i prefer use the IH08...
