The EULA says I can load two copies on the same platform. Is that purely a Mac vs Windows distinction?
I'm moving from a Win XP 32 bit desktop to a Vista 64 bit > Windows 7 64 bit notebook and want to make sure I can have 32 bit and 64 bit versions loaded on different machines. Very quickly I hope to be 100% on the notebook, as long as the "faster than my desktop notebook" actually performs that way.

Yes, and the installation puts both versions on a 64-bit OS and only the 32-bit version on a 32-bit OS. It altogether counts as your two permittted copies.

I believe that Oracle is developed and coded on a Solaris
platform and then ported to other operating systems. If that is
the case, you can assume that Solaris is the best platform or at
least the safest in terms of performance and risk.

I have personally seen most of the customers are using windows as thier OS for Portal. When it comes to R3 BW SRM CRM and other application,its UNIX.
Interms of Performance , Windows is not right choice . I am not sure about life cycle management for the Windows.
A big advantage of using Windows hosting is that.NET technologies: ASP. NET, VB.NET easily works on these Hosts. If, the website is built using these technologies then opting a Windows server is most suitable
Microsoft Sharepoint is yet another application, which needs exclusive, Windows hosting. The only option available for users using this application is Windows server

The new iTunes 12 Get Info dialog lacks right-click context menus (at least for now) but it still accepts most standard keyboard shortcuts and drag & drop actions.
Delete Artwork
On the artwork tab of Get Into, tap the image in question, use Backspace or Ctrl+X. Delete doesn't work.
Or, tap the image at the top left of Get Info, this time use Backspace or Delete, it is Ctrl+X that doesn't work.
Add Artwork
Select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the centre of the Artwork tab, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the small image area at the top left, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, you can drag & drop to, or sometimes from, the same locations.
You can also copy artwork from the Get Info dialog to Windows Explorer with the keyboard shortcuts.
If the source image is on a web page right-click and use Copy Image rather than copy. (With Chrome I get a one pixel wraparound so tend to go for a temporary local copy anyway - not sure whose bug this is, but it isn't new.)
If you have multiple images embedded drag the one you want to be the primary artwork to the leftmost position.
Replace/Remove All Artwork
The top left image box can be used to add or delete art from multiple tracks. In either case all existing artwork in all tracks is replaced/removed.
Old Style Get Info Dialog
Select some items, right-click, hold down shift, then click Get Info from the context menu. (Use alt/option on a Mac)
If you still cannot add artwork via any of these methods then I would suspect a permissions problem. See Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows.

We are using 2008 R2 for LMS 4.0.1 - runs great - need loads of RAM and page file but we have not had many challenges. Java seems to run away with memory at times and we cycle out the services but it runs great.

I shot sports on my 50D using the sports mode. What mode do you shoot sports on usint the 7D?

Shooting in Sports mode is a convenient way to avoid learning how to do it right. It just uses a built in program that assumes some variables will always be similar so it sets the camera to capture action using that program & light meter readings. Unfortunately different sports require different settings to capture them properly, which is why more advanced cameras ignore those modes. Let me explain that plus I'll direct you to an article I wrote which should help you get a handle on the settings.
Sports & Action are one in the same when it comes to the camera settings but the shutter speeds used need to match what's considered a good photos of that activity. In motorsports we want to freeze the car or bike etc, blur the background & more importantly the wheel & tire to show speed. Freeze all of that & it looks like the car or bike etc is just parked on the track. The same for shooting prop planes, they need prop blur if they are flying through the air. The reverse is true for poeople playing sports (in general) so you use a faster shutter speed & freeze everything in the frame. Each activity is different so it's important to learn what looks correct & then set the camera to get that result PLUS learn how to pan SMOOTHLY.

I know i a, kinda asking something that everyone has their own opinion on. I am kinda wondering what is going to be the best platform chipset wise in the next 12 months. What i am asking you to compare is 875P vs.K8T800 vs. Nforce3. Is it also true that Intel is going to stick with the 875P for when the new P5 ( Prescott ) debuts ? Do you think the 875P can compete in features and bandwidth .

U could have Scheduler Programs of OS to do the FTP job.
Like On Unix - Use Cron to run a script containing the ftp command
Windows-Scheduler
Ask it run a BAT file containing a FTP command

I know what he means, he is misinformed. Pages is a Word Processor with a few publishing features thrown in, as Word Processors go it is OK, it is not Word and it's compatibility with Word is less than perfect.
On a feature to feature comparison with Word Pages is far behind, but it is far cheaper.
If the OP wants Word for less money then Libre Office or Open Office offer better compatibility and far more features than Pages, and you don't have to remember to choose 'Save As' and select a .doc format everytime as Pages forces you too, they will do that automatically (just like MS Word)

Hi all, Is there any software that you know about what will let me edit & change the id's of M4a files?, what it is I've just been into the loft a few days ago & found my old 40 gig usb drive what i used to use for dj'ing & found all my m4a tracks & albums what I would like to import into itunes so I can listern to them on my Ipod touch (not all of them, just some of them) but here's the problem, as It would take me hours to shift through loads & loads of the tags to correct some of them, what I'm looking for really is a program what can let me edit all the tags before i insert the albums into Itunes. as If i insert them at the moment, I've got loads of artists under Various artists what aint tagged propper so They wouldn't go into the Compilations folder under Itunes music as I like the keep every thing neat & tidy under there, If i can use Itunes to do it, how can I do all the Compilation albums what ain't tagged proper? cheers

Question: What is the best platform to run exe files? Wine,Cedega,etc.

I've tryed Wine it takes alot of configuration that I'm not to familiar with. I would love to order a commercial version but my credit is shot for ordering software threw the internet. I wish there was a software store in my mall besides the usual stores. There's not enough support out there for Linux. Is there any good websites that describe the best way to run wine or cause I want to utilize my programs and not just my games.

I've tried both CX office and Cedega, but I don't like that much GUI help...
I prefer the raw wine configuration via regedit and winecfg, also wine is getting better and the configuration method are not that hard.
BTW the apps mentioned by thayer also work flawless under wine
Also if I need application, for which I have no linux alternative, and there is no way to run it with wine (like blizzard torrent file downloader, that Blizzard use when they release something new free for download and didn't run well on 0.9.45 (fixed now, though) I use Vbox)

Is it possible to install CS5 on both a laptop and desktop, when each has a different OS? Laptop: Lion and Desktop: Maverick.
And if the Laptop has the history of Adobe software but the iMac is brand new is it still possible to install?
