EULOWNER access to ALL existing workbooks?

Here's my goal...I want to (need to) be able to review all existing workbooks. I am currently the "EULOWNER" and am able to export the workbooks. But this is not helpful as 1) it's in a format for import into an Disco instance and 2) if I import it the EULOWNER still doesn't gain access to these workbooks.
I found the workbooks in the doc_documents table, but they're in binary format in a LONG_RAW. I've tried numerous extraction techniques but none of the result in a file that is readable -- even in Discoverer.
Is this possile in ANY WAY?
I am open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
PS --- Disco 9.0.4 on Oracle 10g (Non Oracle Apps)

Hi,
There is a way to do that and it was asked in the past in this forum.
You can search and find the methods that deals with the EUL tables but note that it can harm your Oracle support.
regarding the second thing you mentioned:
" if I import it the EULOWNER still doesn't gain access to these workbooks"
When you import you have the option to take ownership of the report and if you'll use it the you'll get access.
Any way perform it in a testing environment.

  • How to grant access to all workbooks to a particular responsibility?

    Hi,
I am new to Discoverer. i have installed OAS 10.1.2.3 and I have done EUL_SET up on my E-Business Suite R12 and now 'SYSADMIN' owns all the workbook under "System Administrator" responsibility. Now users want to see all workbooks.
I need to provide access. how can I do that?
    Ram

    Hi,
You need to connect as SYSADMIN using Discoverer Desktop or Plus. (You may need to grant more privileges to SYSADMIN to do this). Then under workbook management go to workbook sharing and select the user -> workbook tab. You will then be able to select the responsibility and share some or all of your workborks with that responsibility.

  • US iBooks Store should have access to ALL books worldwide

The US is very rich in cultures. For instance it has a very big Latin American population. The iBooks store should have access to the Spanish books sold in Spanish countries so that this portion of US citizens can read books in their native language. The same goes for every other culture in the US. That's why I'm saying that the US iBooks Store should have access to ALL the libraries in the world of iBooks Stores. Thanks.

To expand on Tamara's answer a little, the publishing industry (books, music, movies, etc) is not a world-wide monolith. Each country has its own copyright laws which sometimes are quite different from even countries bordering it. This has led to publishers having many subsidiaries and/or working agreements with local publishers. A British author doesn't need to have his/her work translated (which adds its own copyright issues to the meld) but still will require both a US and a UK publisher for the book to be published in both countries. It isn't just a simple matter of lots of books being printed and then shipping some of them across the ocean.
This mess has existed for a very long time and Apple can't just wave a wand and make it go away.

    Dear Forte
I support the comments of Renato and Peggy (see below) completely.
I understand the sensitivity you may feel about making "bugs" known to
unfriendly parties, but we in South Africa are finding that transparancy
is the best route in the long haul, despite being open to unfair
    criticism and the like.
Please make the Forte technical problems easily accessible to all and if
you want to go the final mile then give us a category of reporting for
problems that have not even yet been validated by you.....I believe you
will get a lot of help from your user community in validating many of
the problems, if only by confirmed experience.
Let us get the job done as a team! Long live Forte....

I want to WHOLEHEARTEDLY support what Renato is requesting. Forte has bug
lists/reports out on their web site but this doesn't list all known bugs (I
was told and I have experienced). It would be nice to be able to see the

    (workarounds should be listed too).

This problem has been reported to Forte Tech Support. We were having
similar problems, developing on Windows 95 with 32 MB RAM. They have
told us that the problems will be addressed in 3.0.F

We are also having problems similar to what you have described. I have
not reported this to tech. support because it happens
infrequently. Most of our problems happen when we are trying to update,
integrate, and compile. Debug seems to be working fine.
The strange thing to me is that my PC has 64 meg and I am allocating 54
meg to Forte. I thing there are some internal problems with
3.0 working on 95. I never had this problems on NT. Hopefully the next
    release will solve the problem.

    Hi all,
we are developing using Forte' 3.0.E on Windows 95 and Windows NT client,
with 32 MB RAM. We are experiencing some strange behaviours. When we
update, integrate, compile or debug from the client Forte', the client pc
slows down terribly and frequently blocks at all. We can overcome the
problem for update, integrate and compile if we use FSCRIPT, but we have no
    solution for the debugger.
It has happened that we clicked on the debugger button and after 20 minutes
it hadn't started yet ! (obviously we gave up). In this case specific, the
application was built in Express and it WASN'T very big !
If we try doing the same operations from a NT server with 128 MB RAM we
    have no problems.
Is it a problem of resource lack ? What's the recommended platform /
configuration ? Perhaps NT client with 64 MB RAM ?
    TIA

  • Exporting a WorkSheet in Existing WorkBook

    Hi All
I have a WorkBook I want to move one Sheet from that workbook to Existing Workbook.
Is it Possible through Export & Import.
    Thanks
    ASIM

I don't think this is possible, but then again, with 10g Plus - maybe it does it.
The closest thing I know of to move a worksheet is to drag it in Disco Desktop from one workbook, but it will remove it from the FROM workbook (so don't save it after) and will create another new workbook with the worksheet in it.

  • Mail reset after hard shutdown...No access to all my emails!

I had my mail application open and was using the Firefox web browser when the browser froze up. I had to do a hard shutdown and then restart the computer. When I restarted, i attempted to open my mail application and was prompted to "set up" my mailbox. I now have no access to all of my past emails. What can I do? Thanks!

What exactly did you do -- if you had only setup the account again, but declined to import anything, Mail should have rediscovered the account folder(s) which at that point would have still existed.
In the Finder, after quitting Mail, open Home/Library/Mail and see what account folders are present.

  • Every time I try to add add'l pix, it has to remove all existing and re-sync (always use same computer)

Each time I want to add more pictures to my library, it deletes all existing and re-loads (during syncing).  I always use the same computer, never plugged my ipad into any other computer.  I also get error messages sometimes when I am trying to download new songs (via computer) and it has given me an error message saying that the computer is not the 'designated' computer (but it is and always has been.).

Holy Smoke!!!   ...and it was JUST that easy.
    Spent HOURS trying to resolve.

You have to be in a country to use its store - you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account to be able to use the US store (that applies to buying and redownloading).
You can use iTunes Match in South Africa, do you not have a backup copy of all of your US iTunes purchases so that you can subscribe to it and upload those that aren't in the South African store to it ?

I gave my old MacBook Pro away and no longer have access to it. I didn't think to deauthorize it first. I DO NOT want it to have access to all music in my iCloud or any music that may have been downloaded sinceI gave away the computer. It now belongs to my teenage daughter, who has since been in my WI-FI area and knows that code. I had EVERYTHING removed from the computer before I gave it to her (long story), but since I hadn't deauthorized the Mac,I'm assuming even without the itunes password the iCloud material would had loaded onto her computer. My iCloud had somehow included personal voice mails under Unknown Artist that I did not want on there or shared. How can I deauthorize the Mac Laptop without having the machine available to do it on? Change the iTunes/iCloud password? I should now have my desktop computer, new PC (Aspire) laptop,Ipod Touch, and if possible my Evo 3D as well as my boyfriend's Samsung smartphone being able to access the iCloud account/library--whatever it is called. HELP

Thanks, I appreciate the help.  I think this is one of the problems Apple is creating by changing the OS so often. I had fomer colleagues at [a major aerospace contractor] who told me that so many original files were ultimately lost because of the deadly change in the "Save As" operation that they are now afraid of every OS update. Apple has badly damaged their support base with that very prominent company (they won't update now until they've fully examined and understand changes in the pre-conditioned nature of OS computer functions), and they are a whole lot less enthaled with Mac-related equipment/software. Can't blame them, I too used orginal files that way (as easy-to-use templates), and lost some important files before I realized what was happening (to late to revert). Companies should not have to retrain employees each time an OS gets an update, it's can be very expensive several different ways. They learned a painful lesson with that one. And because I'm now retired and don't use multiple devices, I need iCloud like I need a hole in the head... but I'm told there's no way to keep Apple out of my computer. Fortunately, because of major problems when initially installing Mountain Lion, one hold-over of the hardware/software damage I experienced was that iCloud can no longer access my computer even though everything else is working fine again. That was the only "good luck" I had as a result of that expensive nightmare.

  • How can my replacement gain access to all the files on my work computer

I am retiring from my place of employment after 14 years on the job--my choice as I've reached retirement age.  I've been a Mac guy for over 5 years now and my replacment is inheriting my computer, a Mac Pro with a 2TB hard drive I added a couple of years ago when I outgrew the original 750GB drive (which is still installed).  I use Mail which has probably 100,000 stored messages, and all of my documents...tons of them.  My replacement needs to take over the machine and "make it hers" but she will still need to have access to all my "stuff" to continue in the position...all my mail, calendar, address book, and documents for MS Office 2011, Adobe CS programs, etc.
I went to the users part of system preferences today and added her as a new identity and as an administrator, but it gives here a "virgin" finder, without all the additions I had put in the sidebar of my finder, etc.  In fact it defaulted to the original "Macintosh HD" which I had nearly filled until I added the second hard drive, the one that is 2TB in size.
Is there a way to configure the Mac Pro (it uses Lion and is too old to upgrade to Mountail Lion) so that she can gain access to all of my "stuff"?

My mom updated her iPhone to iOS7, and now she has my contacts. Does this mean that she has access to all of my photos as well? How can she 'unlink' our phones? Or, is there anyway that I can get my stuff to disappear from her phone? We share iTunes account so I think we are both on the same iCloud.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you are using the same ID as a primary iCloud login, then yes she can see your photos in photostream if you have it enabled.
You can use the same ID for iTunes so you can share all your purchases, but you need different ID's for iCloud.
Unfortunately, the mess caused by sharing the ID, will need to be sorted manually, once you both have your own ID's.

  • User in hr can able to create records in PA30.But will give read only access for all infotypes

    Hi Team,
I have created one test role in HR. It will give Read access to all info types.
But user can able to create Info type records in PA30. Please find the P_ORGIN values below.
    Authorization level            R
    Infotype                       *
    Personnel Area                 US
    Employee Group                 1

Note : user does not have access to any structural profile.
I suspect is this bcz, if any user has proper 0105 and 0001 in HR master data can able to create records.Bcz user will be assigned to default sap structural profile "ALL"  in OOSB ?
I can see user was not assigned to "ALL" profile in OOSB or in T77UA. and user cant able to write or change infotype data in pa30.
Please suggest how the user can able to create  inftotype records in PA30.(Info :0002 for example)
    Appreciate Quick response.
    Regards,
    Venu.

Sorry did not get the below comment.
"The maintain flag in the structural profile does not relate to any maintenance authorization in PA.  It only affects the OM objects authorized by the structural profile.  For example the user may be able to delimit a position.  It will never grant any write authorization for any PA infotype "
Do you mean , suppose if we give Org unit and evaluation path like attached screen ,user will get access to only the ORG UNIT  as its object type (can able to perform activities as mentioned in the role PLOG ) but cant perform any activity like address infotype change on the person (P) (as mentioned in P_ORGIN) who comes under the org unit mentioned in Structural profile ?
My understanding is that i believe user total auth is an intersection of general +structural authorization.lets take HR admin wanted to change 0002 data   for some imps in org.We need to give access to that particular org to which the emps belongs to (through structural auth) and SHOULD CHECK the maintenance box in strucural auth and will access change access via role.
And user cant able to edit his own data.
Please find the Screens as requested. Please let me know if my understanding is correct or not ?
