European Legislation - Infotype 0077 (Additional Data)

Due to changes in the recording of additional data I
need to hold further information relating to gender,
sexuality etc. Does anyone know if SAP (Europe wide) are
changing this infotype or if it will be a customization required by the individual?
If this is the case, can anyone tell me how to add extra fields to this infotype in PA.

To upload data into infotype 0015
Use HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION to create your a wrapper BAPI. You would also have to use BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE and BAPI_EMPLOYEE_DEQUEUE for locking and unlocking of the record in your BAPI or program.

call function 'BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE'
create 0015
call function 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'
Use FM : HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA to update IT 0015

Updating Infotype 0077 for the New Race and Ethnicity Codes

Hi,
I would like to ask for a help or any ideas on below case:
There are new race and ethnicity codes required by the US EEO Law. I've already maintained them in table T505R. My problem now is on how infotype 0077 records of the employees will be updated showing the new race and ethnicity codes. Program RPURACU0 is use to update the records in infotype 0077. In this program, I first map the old ethnic origin to the new race and ethnicity codes. But after I've run and execute the program, infotype 0077 records of the employees still shows the old ethnic origin codes. It does not show the new race and ethnicity codes which should be based on the mapping I've done.
Another problem is that in infotype 0077 in the field "Ethnic Origin", upon clicking on the drop down list, it shows all of the entries I've entered in table T505R. I think that ethnicity and race categories should be two different fields and thus, there should be another field for the race categories. May I know on how to add such field?
To summarized, I need help in the following:
-how to update infotype 0077 showing the new race and ethnicity codes
- how to create field "Race" in infotype 0077 to display the new race categories

We have applied the relevant note, updated MP007700 (as below) and executed program RPURACU0 with the required mapping. However, the Race field check boxes are not visible on IT0077 because as you can see the relevant field is not listed below.

Additional data on relationship between two objects

Hi
We have a requirement to capture additional data on a relationship between two objects. The data to be captured are custom fields that are unique to the relationship between the objects and not specific to either of the objects.
We created a new object type and related it to the position (S)and the job (C) object. In the customising (Personnel Management/Personnel Development/Basic Settings/Maintain Relationships there is an option to set up Additional Data. There are however several restrictions (e.g. the substructure has to be in T77AD). When you set up an existing substructure (e.g. PAD22) and screen (e.g. 3000), it works really well, however we have not been able to get this to read our own substructure and screen (since there is no customer include on HRP1001 and the 'Additional data' button seems to go to MP100100 to find the screen).
My question is two fold:
a) Is this an allowed customisation (e.g. can we create our own substructure, screen and Query string)? And if so, how does the data get into T77AD (since SAP recommends that data should not be added to this table)? and
b) Is there any documentation on this (thus far I have only received info on how to enhance infotypes which I don't think is relevant???)?
If this can not be maintained is there any other suggestions on how to deal with this scenario?

Thanks for everyone who tried to assist us with this. I am happy to report that our in-house guru's have found the answer. So, for anyone who is interested:
In programme MP100100 you have a screen 6000 which is a customer enhancements screen. We set up two in-house function modules for the PBO and PAI with its own screen and added an append structure to PAD31 to add the fields required. In the configuration, we then specified PAD31 as the substructure with screen 6000 and then also specified our own PBO and PAI function modules. The parameters required for screen 6000 is set up within our own customer screens.
Hope this will be helpful to someone - it certainly seemed to open up some doors for us!

Infotype for Dependents data

Hi Experts,
We need to store additional data of Dependents in an infotype other than 0021.
Please let me know if there is any international infotype where we can store dependents data.
We don't want to add custom fields to the standard infotype 0021.

Enhance infotype 0077 screen number 2008

Hi,
I want to enhance infotype 0077 screen number 2008.
Using PM01, i created enhance single screen record with infotype 0077 with version 08.
But the additional field appear on screen number 2000 instead of screen number 2008.
How to add the additional field to 2008 instead?

T588M is a table and there is no column name called "Infotype Screen Control", can you provide further infomation on this?

My requirement is to add sexual orientation field into IT 77.
The added field need to be display/edit on PA30 (screen number 2008).
Using PM01, i created single screen enhancement on IT 77 with version 08 (GB).
Using PA30, by selecting different employee, the additional fields display on screen number 2000 but it is not display on screen number 2000.

HRP1001 - Additional data

Hi,
I would like to programatically create a 1001 relationship record using RH_INSERT_INFTY. But I couldnt find a way to also update the 1001 Additional data for object types like Room(PAD22), Qualification (PAD31) etc.
For the rest of the Infotypes I am able to see a structure p<nnnn>_exp available which can be used.

Solution:
Move your data to a structure of the additional data (e.g. PAD23, PADxx, etc).
Then use method cl_hr_adata_type_cast=>padnn_to_adata to cast your PADxx structure to the ADATA field of INNNN structure.
Calling RH_INSERT_INFTY with the INNNN-ADATA filled will create the additional data and it's links.

yes it is safe. SAP provided the screen 8459 only for adding our own custom fields to it. For this you need access key for the first time. along with that you need access key for
PBO include, PAI include
MV45AOZZ ,MV45AIZZ .

Adding new fields to additional data B screen in sales transaction

I have a requirement like this I need to add 3 input fields and 1 push button(select oppurtunity) in additional data B screen of sales order transaction.If I click on this button I want geneate one pop up dialog box just like as search help box and I should be able to search data for these 3 fields data based on some 4 input fields data?How can I acheive this?I can add button and what I have to write the code in PBO and PAI of this screen?Please some body help me in this regard.

In SAP we can add few fields from maintain reserve fields. Please go through it;

There are reserve fields in the customer master record which are not used in the standard system. They are available for use and are as follows:
Customer group 1 (View: V_TVV1 Field:KVGR1)
Customer group 2 (View: V_TVV2 Field:KVGR2)
Customer group 3 (View: V_TVV3 Field:KVGR3)
Customer group 4 (View: V_TVV4 Field:KVGR4)
Customer group 5 (View: V_TVV5 Field:KVGR5)
You can find the fields in the customer master record under the sales and distribution data in Sales. Choose additional data under Environment.
It is advisable to change the field description (Data elements KVGR1 to KVGR5).
This is described in the system modifications in the Reserve fields unit of the customer master record:

SEM-BPS how to load additional data for special users at runtime?

Let´s assume you have a transactional info cube which contains SD Data from the source system.
If you want to show additional data, let´s say the attributes of the sold materials which can be read in the table MARA of the source system (provided you use R/3, etc.)
and you only want to show this data for a small amount of users, which need to see it, then i wonder how to do this.
am i right, that i can use the exit functions to init key figures, i.e. i could write some code which connects to the source system over RFC, downloads the data at runtime and presents it at the users excel sheet????
moreover, is it necessary to extend the existing cube, just to achieve this aim?

Hello Gideon,
there's no need to program anything. You can display any attribute in planning layouts. In your case you would extract the master data from material from SAP R/3 (MARA) into BW. The setup the layout to show the required attribute(s) in the layout in BPS.
If the attribute is relevant only for a specific user group, just give them access to this "special" layout (create a planning folder or web interface for this group).
