European serial number not valid in the USA
Hello everybody!
I had a licence for LR5 in Europe since february 2014, used it on my PC and now moved to the USA, buying a new PC.
When a want to install LR5 on it, I have an error telling that the serial number is not valid.
I contacted the direct service (by night here :p) and they gave me a procedure that could resolve my problem... BUT one link is always not found.
Here is the procedure :

Sebastien: 2) Kepp this window open a open a new one.
Sebastien: 3) In this new one, go to :

.... (then many other steps)....
The link "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/LTRM/5/win32/Lightroom_5_LS11..7z" shows me always "file not found" it?
Any idea to solve it?y many thanks in advance! I fear i should by a new serial number whose could not work too .....B

I am going to guess that the link should end in .exe (one-dot-exe) rather than ..7z (two-dots-seven-z)—the two-dots are wrong for sure and there is an EXE not a 7z at that URL:
http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/LTRM/5/win32/Lightroom_5_LS11.exe
Once downloaded you can use the 7-ZIP application to extract the files from the EXE.
It is possible that the tech meant the following .7z URL which is for LR 5.5 and the Creative Cloud version not the serial-number-licensed version, but since you’re dealing with a serial-number-licensed version, hopefully not, it is the one URL that has a .7z on it:

Serial Number Not Valid 2nd Install CS5.5
I'm trying to download CS5.5 Design Standard Student and Teacher on my Windows 8.1 machine and receive a "Serial Number Not Valid" notification. I have already downloaded the product on my Macbook Pro a few years ago, but was under the impression I was allowed to download it on 2 computers. Anything I can do???
the serial number for a mac installation is not the same as for a windows installation. and, in fact, cs5.5 is not a dual platform product so you cannot install it on a windows machine unless you have a windows license/serial number.
you could upgrade to creative cloud. the subscription apps (cs6, cc and cc 2014) are all dual platform. -

J’ai acheté LR 4 il y a 1 an avec le n° de série sur la boite. J’ai acheté l’upgrade pour LR 5 et je n’ai jamais pu installer la version définitive avec ce n° de série.Ce n° de série n'est pas valide. La durée version d’essai est terminée et donc je dois retourner à LR 4 pour continuer à travailler ? Pourquoi cela ne fonctionne pas?

n° IEE2014000174985 mais je n'ai pas de trace d'un nouveau n° de série. Il n'est pas sur la facture, ni dans le logiciel?

Logic 9 Serial Number Not Valid
I recently backed up my computer and did a complete OS reinstall (starting from stratch and not using the old image due to old corruption files). I then decided to manualy copy over Logic Pro 9 files from the backup drive to the new image. I went to open Logic and it asked for my serial number. I typed it in and then it decided to crash on me. Well no big deal, I probably didn't copy all the files. So I deleted as many files as I could find and then proceded to reinstalling Logic 9 from my Logic Studio disc set. Entered name and the serial key during the beggining of the install and it says "Serial Number Not Valid" and asked me to type it again and gives me the same message. After 3 failed attempts, it closes the installation program. I have tripple checked my spelling in the key and have checked forums regarding this problem. I have already attempted to move the ID files in Library/Application Support/ProApps to the desktop; no change. Any input would be nice. Thank you.
I am running Mavericks 10.9.1 on a MacBook pro 2012.Was your copy of Logic Studio 2.0 (the one containing LP9) a full version or an upgrade version?
If it was an upgrade version you need to enter your original LP8 serial first.... and then it will ask for your LP9 upgrade serial...
If it was the full version, contact Apple directly and ask for their assistance.

Note: Once you have successfully installed LP9.. you must upgrade LP9 to the latest version 9.1.8 before you run it, via software updates... as you are running Mavericks... -
I try to access my new Adobe Pro XI download to use it, and a message says "serial number not valid" or words to that effect. I downloaded on Friday afternoon. Why? This should have been easy.

Installing pse 7 serial number not valid
I was having issues with a pse 7. I uninstalled then downloaded a fresh copy from Adobe. I entered my serial number and it returned 'not a valid serial number'. But it is valid.
Thanks pwillener. I did that before. It took me to my account and there I found the serial number that exactly matches the one I found on my computer but again, PSE 7 says it is not valid. I even turned my firewall off during installation in case that was the problem.

i'm trying to install photoshop elements 13 multiple languages mac that i downloaded tonight online. i purchased photoshop elements 13 and premiere elements 13 as a package a few days ago on line but it appears that what I purchased was for windows and not for mac. I have a serial number for each (photoshop elements 13 and premiere elements 13). The installer is not accepting the serial number as valid for some reason. I'm guessing that the problem was caused by the fact that what I bought was english windows and what i downloaded as mac -- which is what i need. help me please!

Message: serial number not valid to update from pro 9 to 9.01
Today I tried to update my Logic Pro 9 to Logic pro 9.0.1.
I logged in, welcome message, was asked to enter my Logic Studio 2.0 upgrade serial number which I did: The serial number I entered is not valid.
My history: Logic 5.5.1. with XSkey, updated in april 2009 to Logic pro 8, 8.0.2. (registered my serial number)
Bought upgrade Logic Studio 2 (Logic pro 9) and everything works o.k.
My Mac Pro is a "just for studio music" computer I have no internet on it.
The update I try to get is via my (Windows) home computer.I read the post of Mr. Pandamonium in the Topic : Logic Pro 9.0.1 released

So I went to the site, clicked on the link, came on the apple site with a link to the update.

HT1349 APPLE CARE SERIAL NUMBER NOT VALID
Alright so I know this is elsewhere in the forum but I recently purchased AppleCare for my iPhone 4 (I live in Canada) and I went to register the product and it's telling me the serial number is not valid.
I tried calling Apple but I keep getting in this enraging speak your problem loop that doesn't seem to pick up "AppleCare" as an item that I'm having issues with. What am I supposed to be saying to the prompter to get me to a service representative. It wants the serial number for my iPhone. That's not the issue, it's my APPLECARE that has the wrong serial number.
I have zero patience for teleprompts so I'd like someone to walk me through how to get to a REAL human being.
I just want to register my product that I paid 90 bucks for. And have it actually work. I'm not asking much

Also, to anyone else that may be having this issue: The serial number you're inputting is for your PHONE, not the one on the applecare box.
If any apple people are reading this, the form should read "DEVICE serial number", not everyone knows what hardware means (though in hindsight that makes sense but why not call it what it is and save potential client frustration, and save yourself a phone call). Or even make a drop-down list to select the device you're registering would be helpful. Then have the registration applet show "AppleCare Registration #" and "[device name: e.g. iPhone] serial #". -
Serial Number not updating in the system

My client is in to retail and has most of the materials under variant configuration. The materials are sold with serial numbers so that they can be tracked and returns/maintenance can be accounted for. The customer is also given discount if he buys that material again using the serial number as reference and the dependency written for that material updates the old purchase qty(old factor) when new purchase qty(new factor) is added to it.
Since the serial number can only be referenced once the goods has been posted and billing has been done. The factors get updated in the system, the factors were updating correctly for the past 2+yrs but since the last couple of months the updating of serial number old factor is screwed. It is not updating for some serial numbers.
Any bright ideas what may be the issue. I have searched every nook and corner but could not trace the cause. Is it possible that a particular serial number can update for a certain number or memory or something???Sorry, but the problem is not solved: it shows the same, 10 numbers and three points.
Seeing the espana2004 message, maybe it is related to the use of a proportional font? All the characters in my Pre's serial number are wide.
This number is needed to download WebOS Doctor. I've had to put my phone in developer mode, connect through novaterm and do a 'lunaprop com.palm.properties.PalmSN' in order to obtain the number. Is there an easier way to get it?

Why is my purchased serial number not accepted in the downloaded trial version?
I purchased an upgrade to Elements 10 from Elements 9 and downloaded a 32 bit version instead of a 64 bit version. The only way I found to re-download was to download a trial version. Entering the serial number provided by Adobe gives the message that it is an invalid serial number.
Did you enter the Elements 10 serial number? Have you checked your account to verify it is the same serial number you have registered?

I'd been using Photoshop CS4 Extended for some years on a PC. I recently bought a new PC and installed on it from the same disk. I entered the same serial number. It worked the first time, but subsequently it asked for the serial number each time, and each time said the number was invalid.
Do I need to purchase the product again in order to install it on another PC?You'll need to call Adobe Customer Support to resolve licensing issues. We fellow users, on this user-user forum, can't access their database.
Describe what you've done, and that you didn't (or weren't able to) deactivate the software from your old system, and let them know how many computers you currently have it activated on. If they're being nice they'll reset your available activation count to allow you to continue to use your license on your new system.
They're known to try to blow people off and tell them to come to the forum. If they do that, inform them that users can't help other users with activation problems.
If all else fails, the Photoshop CC Photographer's Bundle is $9.99 a month...

I'm switching to a new laptop, and I want to bring my Acrobat 9 STD with me. Deactivated it on the old laptop, went to the download page for Acrobat 9 and downloaded it, got to the part in the installation where I entered my serial number, and the installation wizard said it was invalid. That's when I noticed the download was for Acrobat 9 PRO, not STD. I used the support chat and explained it to the support person, and he gave me a link for the 9 STD download. Unfortunately, it was the same page. I downloaded it again. Still 9 PRO. Anyone else have any ideas where they're hiding the Acrobat 9 STD download?
Finding the file all depends on how you did the install and if you downloaded the install file. If the install file was downloaded to the TEMP folder, there is a slight chance it may still be there (should be in Windows>TEMP, not sure on MAC). It may have a name similar to the Pro download of AcroPro90_efg.exe. The Pro would be change to Std and I am not sure what the efg stands for. I would search for AcroStd9*.exe. There seems to be a download for AA 9 std available at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.ht ml. I have no idea if that works. I had found one place where a staff member said he is working on getting links up for all the older versions, not just the trials (that are Pro). I simply searched on Google for Acrobat 9 Standard files. I can't find the message by the staff, but there is one in the last week or two as I recall where a staff member was providing links for folks on an individual basis.
