can someone tell me if there is an evaluation path that can show all OU, positions and jobs, even if OU2 belongs to OU1 and only have positions on 2, and jobs on these positions

Hi,
B002 is normally used as an O-O relationship. If you look at evaluation path O-S-P in OOAW. You will see how it is used here.
O-S-P might actually meet your requirement.

OM evaluation path showing chief position and subordinates

Hi experts, is there any standard OM evaluation path showing the reporting structure in Org chart like this?

if there is no standard evaluation path, do I need to create extra relationship like S A002 Chief to every position??

Your drawing (and last message) indicates a relationship between O and "Chief" and between "Chief" and S (Position). As others have mentioned, this is not SAP standard - and to me it doesn't make sense either. The chief position (A12 relationship) and the regular positions (A003 relationship) all belong to the same org.units don't they?
For your need you would actually have to create your own "Chief" object type, make your own relations and your own evaluation paths. I would strongly advise against this. What is the business need for this requirement?
In PPOME you can move the manager (chief) position so it is the first position in the in the Org.Unit. This will give a better visual of the org.sturcture. Also, check the priority field in the relationship, and check the documentation for this.

Evaluation path to get personnel number all the org unit and subordinates

I have OM issue to ask.This is the scenario:
Staff A belong to org 1. Under Org 1, I have org unit 1-A, 1-B and org unit 1-C.
Issue 1 :
I want to run report(RHSTRU00) to to generate all the staff number in org 1 (Include 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C).
Issue 2 :
I want to run report for 1-A, only staff belongs in org 1-A appear.The others not appear.
I was understanding I have to play around with evaluation path. Until now I can't find the suitable evaluation_path. I need your help.tq

Hi,
Not sure why you want to reinvent the wheel. The standard report RHXSTRU02 will give you people by Org Unit. Just enter the Org Unit ID number and you will get the employees as output.
If you still want to use RHSTRU00, you can use O-P or O-S-P to get the employees and the positions.

[newbie] Sharing anchor points across paths/shapes? + Pen visual feedback? + Show all paths?

Hey all, as stated I'm a newbie at Illustrator. Any help's appreciated. My questions:
1) Is it possible to have anchor points be part of more than 1 path? I want to have 2 adjacent filled paths that share anchor points, so that if I move the common edge anchors, both shapes are affected. Kinda like in Flash, I suppose.
My guess is this is impossible though? Then how do people working with Illustrator a lot tackle this problem? I mean adjusting 2 shapes with several common anchor points (not shared, just in the same position), for adjacent shapes.
2) Is it possible to set the Pen tool to give visual feedback like in Photoshop when moving the mouse to a new position to add a new anchor point? What Photoshop does is show the path segment that would be created if you were to click at the current mouse position, whenever you move the mouse. Illustrator doesn't show this with me right now, so I'm left to guess what the exact path segment will look like when I click (less convenient imo).
3) Is there a way to always show all paths on the current layer, even if they are not selected? And I do NOT mean Outline mode, I'm aware of that. The problem I'm facing is that - when working with multiple paths - I want to see them all when adding a new path, so I can easily align anchor points and what not with the other paths, but I do NOT want to hide the image I'm tracing (which would happend in Outline mode).

You might get what you re after using Live Paint. Here I have drawn an oval and a wavy line — two paths. After converting to a Live Paint object I can selectively fill and stroke any closed area or and segment.

Put the object or image you are tracing on a Template layer. Or Command (Mac) or Control (Windows) click on the eye next to a layer name to change only that layer’s view mode.

Evaluation paths in MSS

Our client is using "matrix" relationships A/B002 (is line supervisor of) in their organisation and wants to display them in MSS (latest version) teamviewer. We are using evaluation path WF_POSIT (User/person has as position)as rule for root objects and ORGA-P (Supervisory and subordinate positions with person display) as rule for target objects. However we are only able to show relationships 002 which are below the manager's position in the organisation and not those which are elsewhere in the organisation. This worked before with the client before our upgrade project.
Can you advise if it's possible to show the 002 (is line supevisor of) relationships in MSS from all over the organisational structure (not only below the manager) with these evaluation paths or should some others be used?
We can only see the 002's below the manager with or without structural authorizations and before the upgrade the evaluation paths were not modified from standard and permitted relationships are also the same.
Any thoughts would be helpful.

Hello Raj,
you need so called Structural Authorizations to accomplish your requirenment. But be aware this has a direct effect on your entire HR-based Authorization concept in your company if you switch it on!
To activate Structural Authorizations call transaction OOAC and set the switch for ORGPD to a proper value which does meet your needs. (See http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/c7/4aba3b3bf00152e10000000a114084/frameset.htm) If it is already set to a value <> 0 is is already activated.
The next thing you need to do is to maintain your Manager Role. The authorization object in question is P_ORGIN. If you want for instance to give a user read access to Infotype 0001 of another person you provide the following values:
- AUTHC: R
- INFTY: 0001
- PERSA: *
- PERSG: *
- PERSK: *
- SUBTY: *
- VDSK1: *
If you would stop here, every user would have access to Infotype 0001 of any other Person in your company. But as you want to restirct the access to just persons which lay within you evalution path B002, you have to maintain tables T77PR and T77UA.
T77PR: Create a Profile (e.g. name it My Team or something) and add the following values: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/34/49ba3b3bf00152e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
- Planversion: 01 (most likely)
- Object Type: O
- Evalution Patch: <Hint> You cant use B002 directly as B002 just give objects of type O back, but you need object of type P. Use SBES for instance.
- Status Vector: 12
- Depth: 0
- Function Module: RH_GET_ORG_ASSIGNMENT (Gives you the root object where to start the evaluation with path SBES.
Now you need to assign your users (in your case your managers) to this profile. Use table T77UA to do this.

Evaluation Path for View of Organizational Structure

I am trying to define new VIEWID using EVPATH which would do the following filtering (by using f.m. HRWPC_GET_NAV_SUBTREE): giving org.unit number, it would return employees of current org unit and in case that there are some sub org units which dont have the boss also all employees of those org units and in case that the sub org. unit have the boss only the boss.
I saw there is Evaluation path SBES, which shows me the employees of given org unit, or SBESX which gives all including suborgs, but I cannot find Ev. path which will do more complicated conditions.
I can see EVPATH only on T778A table with short description, is there any other way to see them with more details?

Hi Anna,
You will find all the existing eval paths in table T778A itself.
I am not sure if you have seen the individual maintenance too.
You can also create your own eval paths acc to your requirement too.
But as far as i know all the things wrt to eval paths can be managed there itself

Evaluation Path Results change after ECC6 Upgrade

We have upgraded to ECC6 up to and including our QA environment. We are running an old java version of the MSS team viewer. We have a custom evaluation path, a modified version of SAP_MANG (Z_MANG) that we have been using for years. After upgrade any view that involves an organization is showing duplicates...

not all relationships represent physical data records in the database. some are derived and without looking at the system, I believe the US 208 to P is a derived relationship.
Are you sure all the users you are testing with have a proper sy-uname setup for all respective pernrs in PA0105?

SAP_MANG Evaluation Path not working for MSS after ECC6 Upgrade

We are upgrading to ECC6 and still using an older version of the java/HTMLB MSS Business Package. We are seeing strange results in the vacancy request overview iview (team viewer like component) which is using a view driven by SAP_MANG Evaluation Path.

...so the user us shown as an org. Right off I suspected the upgrade to MSS 60.1.22 (the newest version of the old Business Package) so I installed the older versions of the components and the actually still worked but also showed this condition. So I have ruled out the java side as a source of the problem.
Looking at HRP1001 I see the following relationships among suspect objects.
Object P 1234567 to Object S 9876543 via B008
Object S 1234567 to Object O 9876543 via A012
no relationships US to P via A208
Given the Eval Path above, does anyone have any idea why this would display this way or have a suggested approach to solve.

ALV GRID Report is not showing all records which is in internal table

have one doubt. please clarify me. ALV Report is working fine since long tiem. But suddenly this report is showing few records only for the given input.   Example:   it_main table have 50 records, but output is showing only 10 records only. (we have not made any modifications in this report).
temporarily i have given excel output file from it_main table. excel file is showing all records.
here it_main have all the records. but output is showing few records only. it is not showing any error. i have tested with REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY function also. but it also showing same results(few records only.)

But in my report there are 10 columns and in download file its showing only 6 columns .If I increase that size to X_65_200 Then it shows all columns But its not readable. Please tell me how can I use that fix size X_65_132 & it will show all columns .

You r right,But that program is already developed in following sequence
*==> 1. Create Virtual Spool
            using FUNCTION 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS'
*==> 2. Write Report to Virtual Spool. Use NEW-PAGE PRINT ON option.
            NEW-PAGE PRINT ON PARAMETERS WF_PARAMS NO DIALOG.
            PERFORM WRITE_PDF_SUMMARY USING P_VALID
            NEW-PAGE PRINT OFF.
*===> 3. Prepare Path and set spool number.
*===> 4. Convert List to PDF format.
             Use function 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'
*==> 5. download PDF file
            CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'.
and it's not showing readable download file.
I don't have to change whole coding. I just want to increase that font.
