I am using Xilinx 10.1 webpack... while i am compiling the code, the following error occur. Please any one guide me to
clear the error..

According to your description, you used SQL Server 2012 volume license edition on your VMware Vcenter server. Then error message “Evaluation Period Expired” was thrown out in the logs.
Firstly, as other post, we need to verify if you have installed SQL Server Standard 2012. There are other ways to review the version of SQL Server, please refer to this article: How to tell what SQL Server version you are running (http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/1140/how-to-tell-what-sql-server-version-you-are-running/).
Besides, error “Evaluation Period Expired” usually occurs when we are running an evaluation instance of SQL Server and the evaluation time period has expired. For detail information, please refer to this article: "Evaluation period has expired"

Ok, here's my problem.
I downloaded vision NI software from this site, knowing it had a 30 days evaluation period, but not knowing we had the NI VISION cd at our laboratory. The software was asking for some VIs which i installed from the NI vision cd afterwards. Now, 30 days later, even though we own a fully registered version of labview, it won't let us use any vision VI, including those coming with the CD, saying that the evaluation period is over.
Is there anything I can do to solve this issue with formatting the computer? Is there anybody to contact who could send me a liscence key, or whatever else?

If you have LabVIEW 7 or higher and the according IMAQ Vision
version, then you indeed need to activate the software even when
you install it from your CD Rom.

The issue may occur if Evaluation Edition or CTP Edition of SQL Server was installed earlier on the server, however, the previous instance of SQL Server was not uninstalled completely or upgraded to Business Intelligence Edition successfully. To resolve
the issue, modify the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\110\ConfigurationState registry key value from 1 to 3, and then rerun the Edition Upgrade procedure from the SQL Server install media to upgrade the SQL Server components to the
licensed edition again.

For your issue, you can retrieve the SQL Server Evaluation Period Expiry Date to varify which server SSRS has been expired:

Evaluation Period has expired - SQL server Management Studio

I am new to this environment and I have an issue with SQL studio management – it says
“Evaluation period has expired. For information on how to upgrade your evaluation software please go to
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy”.
The questions I have are :
1. How do I know what version of SQL I am running ?(since I cant go through studio management)
2. I can see sql server 2008 r2 on the program files- does that mean SQL management studio is 2008 R2?
3. How do I upgrade to a proper version ? – Is it through “installation center “ on program files ?
4. Will the upgrade stop any SQL services?

I have managed to find the version of SQL server 2008 R2 running through the registry and it says :
Edition: Standard Edition
Edition Type : Standard Edition
But i can not find any indication that an evaluation copy was initialy installed. - I have been asked to suggest an upgrade path. My question is ? am i upgrading just SQL management studio ? or SQL server 2008 R2.
Also , if SQL is expired - i presume something should stop working (in terms of database etc) But in my enviroment - everything seems fine except the error message when you try to lunch SQL management studio.

SQL Server 2012 Standard saying its Evaluation period has expired

We installed SQL 2012 Standard on a server and have since created a 1TB SQL server database. Suddenly, we started receiving an error when opening the SQL management Studio that our evaluation period has expired. We purchased 2 licenses of Standard
2012 and installed it on two servers. One is working fine, and the other is saying it had an evaluation copy.
According to our VLSC account, there isn't a product key required, so I can't run the edition upgrade to upgrade it to standard. Is there a way we can get the license converted without risking the 1TB database we created?

Sometimes the media provided when you buy the licenses have the product key prepidded. You may find the product key shows by itself
when you reach the Product Key page of SQL Server setup. Please try that?
An edition upgrade won’t delete any data or configuration of the SQL Server instance. Please read the following article:

So once i upgrade keeping in mind that there will be downtime .
Do i also need to do these 2 workarounds as the version has already expired its not nearing expiration .
1. Install Service Pack 1 before upgrading SQL Server 2008 evaluation edition to any licensed edition.
2. Modify Registry. Go to Start->Run->Regedit. In the Registry Editor, select the following keyHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\ConfigurationState and change the value
of the Common Files REG_DWORD to 3 as shown in the figure below.
Or a simple upgrade is sufficient enough for the restoration of all the functionality .

Windows Server 2008 - Activating 180 evaluation period

I recently installed an evaluation copy of Windows Server 2008 which I downloaded from the Microsoft evaluation website. I did not immediately go through any activation process. I wasn't clear about the process previously but have attempted to activate
the software now as it now indicates that the Windows license is expired and the copy of Windows is not genuine. The issue I have with attempting to activate my copy is that the server is located on a private network where I do not have online access. There
does not appear to be any other option available to complete the activation.

"The evaluation period for some of your software can be extended..."

Installed LabVIEW 2012 for which we have a license. Apparently it installed Application Builder without my knowledge or consent. Now, -everytime- I try to launch LabVIEW I get an annoying dialog, "The evaluation period for some of your software can be extended. Would you like to extend the evaluation periods now?" Only if you will let me get my work done and quit bothering me with advertisements...
How do I get rid of this "evaluation" software that I did not install and do not want?

add/remove programs or hit that little check box on the Eval advertisment window that says do not show me the ad aagain.

Failover Cluster Manager : Add node wizard Error " This operation returned because the timeout period expired" Windows Server 2012

Hi Everybody,
I have two node cluster and trying to add the third node (which is a Virtual Machine), all nodes are in different subnet and can communication with each other. While adding the third node it gives the error at the end of wizard " This operation
returned because the timeout period expired ". My domain controller is 2008 Enterprise Server and nodes are all running Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition. Any idea what is causing the issue.

Before you add a server (node) to a failover cluster, we strongly recommend that you run the Validate a Configuration Wizard for the existing cluster nodes and the new node
or nodes. The Validate a Configuration Wizard helps you confirm the configuration in a variety of important ways. For example, it validates that the server to be added is connected correctly to the networks and storage and that it contains the same software
updates. Please post the error or warning report.

I am having a huge issue here. Our analysts have been receiving this error as of last night and as a result no one can connect to SCSM, this is a really big problem as we cannot provide support until it is fixed.

People will recommend not using this but it worked for me and countless others.... that being said I am NOT responsible for any loss of information or corruption. I only used this because I had constant backups every day to fall back on if this did any damage
(fortunately it didn't).
Of-course Microsoft wants you to open another support case so they can make more $$ just to offer you the same tool. Hope anyone who experiences this issue finds this post. Have a great day.

Here i don't have any backups and when i browsed few blogs suggest to upgrade to another edition from Evaluation edition.
1)Do upgrading the edition keeps all the user databases the same and how about the logins and jobs and other data in system databases.
2) Am having a developer edition 2012 can i attach the data files ( .mdf ) to the instance using attach database method from Evaluation Edition Instance 2012 to Developer Edition 2012.
3)If i uninstall the Evaluation edition 2012 can i have any loss of data.
4)Please suggest me the best practice if any thing available.

Lets take your question point wise
1. In place upgrade will take care of all Logins,jobs and other objects. But before running inplace upgrade its advisable to run SQL Server upgrade advisor
2. Yes you can do it perfectly. As Erland said this will not transfer logins and you might have
orphaned users
3. Since Eval edition has expired and if you uninstall it you might loose all data. This is not a correct approach please either do an in place upgrade to licensed version( like developer edition) or first install developer edition and move database by backup
restore or attach detach method. I would say to use inplace upgrade.
4 Best practice would be to do an inplace upgrade. Since Developer edition is same as enterprise and Evaluation edition you dont need to worry about features. Just run the Developer edition setup by running setup.exe file and then select maintenance on window
which pops up in maintenance select edition upgrade and then follow the process to upgrade evaluation to developer edition. Below link would help

Hi! In IDM 7.1 I know can apply Password Period Expire Policy to Lighthouse account. It's simple and It works so well.
But, I ' d like to know how can I apply a password period expire policy to resource accounts to synchronize as Lighthouse as resources accounts (i.e. LDAP accounts, etc.).
I knew in previous versions of IDM wasn't possible.

Figures the solution form my own Q....
I had pass through configured with LDAP to a login module group - which had the following as the order.
1. LDAP
2. IDM
As LDAP resource adaptor does not support expiry, we have to look for the IdM Expiry. so i reversed the order so that IdM takes precedence in resolving the value of 'loginwarning" on the end user dashboard.
Anyways in my environment, All password resets are handled from IdM so the Pass through wont hurt.

If you notice correctly you can see your SQL server reporting service is not patched to SP1.I would recommend you to first apply SP1 for reporting service and then try to follow advise mentioned in below article.

I am not sure this could be workaround but you should give it a try.
There are 2 reporting services mode running one is sharepoint integrated and other is native try upgrading native and can you please tell which one is giving the error.
Also if you see the screenshot pasted by you one has stand edition other has enterprise .Is is correct ?
