I am trying to upgrade sql server2008r2 evaluation period to FULL version but while upgrading it showing sql server product key is invalid however sql product key is licensed & orgiginal but the same is not proceeding with this key.
Please suggest

Below are the main steps, using the Setup , edition upgrade wizard.

The System Configuration Checker runs a discovery operation on your computer. To continue, click OK.
On the Product Key page, select a radio button to indicate whether you are upgrading to a free edition of SQL Server, or whether you have a PID
key for a production version of the product. For more information, see Editions and Components of SQL Server 2008 and Version
and Edition Upgrades.
On the License Terms page, read the license agreement, and then select the check box to accept the licensing terms and conditions. To continue,
click Next. To end Setup, click Cancel.
On the Select Instance page, specify the instance of SQL Server to upgrade.
The Edition Upgrade Rules page validates your computer configuration before the edition upgrade operation begins.
The Ready to Upgrade Edition page shows a tree view of installation options that were specified during Setup. To continue, click Upgrade.
During the edition upgrade process, the services need to be restarted to pick up the new setting. After edition upgrade, the Complete page provides
a link to the summary log file for the edition upgrade. To close the wizard, click Close.
After installation, the Complete page provides a link to the summary log file for the installation and other important notes. To complete the SQL
Server installation process, click Close.
If you are instructed to restart the computer, do so now. It is important to read the message from the Installation Wizard when you are done with
Setup. For information about Setup log files, see How to: View and Read SQL Server Setup Log Files.

Hope this can help save time in upgrading to retail editions of SQL Server from the evaluation edition.
Note: The
Evaluation edition of SQL Server is based on the Enterprise Edition and thus it is recommended to upgrade to SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition so you can continue to enjoy the many capabilities such as Resource Governor, Database compression, Backup compression,
Transparent Database encryption, etc.

Finish the download on your computer in iTunes and then sync the app to the iPad and then delete it. You will probably have to let it fully download before you can delete it.
You can try restarting the iPad and see if the download will resume - Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Yoy can try this as well and see if the download will resume. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Look in iTunes and see if there is a pending download in there that might be causing the delay. If there is a download there, try to finish that one first.

lr and pse are both cross-platform apps so you can use both pc and mac versions with those programs.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.

Cause the people that developed them didn't do it out of the goodness of their hearts, they did it to make money.
I don't go for many games, but one thing to look for is a lot of 'top in app purchases' then read the reviews.
they kinda fall under a technicality, the shell of the game IS free, but content isnt'. Just like the app to read a magazine is free, but the actual magazines aren't.
And i'm sure the app store loves to see so many 'free' signs on the cover, so they can advertise taht there are tons of free apps...which technically there are and they're not lying. Not until you did into it do you see that free app is not the same as free app with free content.

Try contacting the app support of the particular app your using.
Most apps have an app support button on their app page within itunes.
If they wont reply within a reasonable amount of time and you feel like the particular app developer has cheated you, bring the issue forward to apple care.
Note that app developer have their own customer support.

Hi All,
We Need some help.
We have couple of question related to redwood installation, kindly help us.
We have SAP Central Process for Scheduling (Redwood 6.0.2.7) basic version installed on our Unix server.
We are now planning to migrate to the SAP CPS full version and have already procured the license. SAP added the installables at the marketplace under - Installation and upgrades - My Application components - SAP Partner products - SAP CPS Scheduler (Full) after the procurement. We have downloaded the installables now.
My questions are:
1. How do we now upgrade the Redwood OEM version to full version? Because, we had mailed to SAP with the OEM license to change it to full version, but then SAP replied to us asking us to send them the full version license. How do I get that? Does this file (register.txt) gets created once we start the installation of Redwood full version? Because we had assumed that by buying the full version license, we would just need to send the OEM license and it would be changed to a full version, but its not so. How do we go about from here. Do we do a new installation and uninstall the basic version?
2. Also, if we are to do a new installation, how do we get the register.txt file which we need to send to SAP for key generation?
We are very new to Redwood. Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

FCPS upgrade or full version?

Hello!
I got Final Cut Studio 2 unused from a friend - I already had Final Cut Production Suite on my Mac installed. After installing it, I had no problems (despite with importing AVCHD 720p/50 clips).
Now I'm wondering, is the FCS2 version I got a full version or an upgrade? In other words, can I get rid of the old Production Suite?
The serial number sticker says: Final Cut Studio 2.0.1 Retail
The sticker on the box says: MA 886 D/A (not sure, the "6" ist hardly readable)
Has anybody an idea how to make sure its not only an upgrade and I will have to keep the old SN?
How do the SN stickers look for known full or upgrade versions?

Since I've upgraded to a new MacPro, Aperture has been misbehaving (exporting problems, freezes, slowness) even though I did a clean install of the the app on my new machine. Will the upgrade version of Aperture 2 fix my problems or should I buy the full version? The trial version I downlaoded works great. The upgrade version looks good to me so my projects and folder stay organized, etc. I'm not clear as to whether or not the upgrade version will debug the App for me. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I did the upgrade using the trial version. Seems to me that the result is a clean install of Aperture 2 -- indeed the 1.5.6 version of Aperture is still on my hard drive.
So, if the trial works for you just buy the upgrade key and you should be fine.
Before doing that, make sure you copy your library just to be safe. I assume you've already renamed your 1.5.6 version of Aperture as they instruct you to do. Then, once you buy and enter your key for the trial, just change your preferences for the library location and point it to your real library rather than the trial one. (Or, right click on the library and select Aperture 2 to open it). Once you do that that particular version of your library will be converted to Aperture 2. But, you still have a copy of the one that was created with the older version of Ap 2, just in case.

Ok FCE expert users, I'm in the process of getting my 1st intel mac and want to know if there's compatibility issues if I buy the upgrade version of Final Cut Express 4 to upgrade my FCE 1.01 compare to buying the full version. The reason for this is I heard from people working in the apple store that if I move my FCE 1 to an intel machine there may be some compatibility issues with the machine and I don't want to be where if I install v1 and then install the upgrade 4 that it will not work flawlessly with the new machine.

You don't need to install version 1. You just need the serial number from version 1 as you install the upgrade.

Yes, even with that.
LR4 does not require an installation, but checks validity of the previous LR3 serial number, when a LR4-upgrade serial no is entered instead of a full LR4-serial.
This is done vs. a database at Adobe.
It is somewhat different than with Photoshop, where you need to disable your previous version first, in order to reuse its serial for anything else (be that an installation on another comp or an upgrade serial). Yes, less secure on Adobe's side, but no hassle if a comp has broken down before being able to disengage the old serial.
I guess they would detect if 2 LR4-upgrade serial numbers would be installed with the same LR3-serial, so the second one would not be successful.
