EVDRE - Property Filter on the Page Key

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to apply a property filter on one of the dimensions in the page key. I want to filter data that is returned but do not want to include the dimension in my expansion.
Example:
BPC v7.0
Row Dim = Entity
Col dim = Time
Page Key Property Filter on "Account".
If it is not possible, is there another way to filter data returned by EVDRE based on dimensions properties without including the dimension in the expansion.

The purpose of the property filter on the report is to not limit the member selection but rather to filter the data. I'm pretty new to BPC Excel so I'm not sure if I am missing something but I'm just looking to filter data from the Database in my EVDRE without having to include the dimension in my expansion/report.
Its looks like that the Page Keys and the Current View only allows you to select/filter on one value at a time and if I want to do more I need to include it in my expansion?? There has too be a way to do this b/c if this is a limitation then I seriously thing that SAP needs to go back to the drawing boards with this one. I hope that its just me as I'm a newbee.
Any additional assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Filter in page key range

Hi experts,
I'm trying to do a filter for two members in a report. I put this two members in the page key range in one dimension following with comma.
Example: Costcenter France,Italy
It works fine but when i try to put in the same dimension two members that are nodes of hierarchies it doesn't work. And the reports shows nothing.
Any idea.

The EVDRE is fine and no data should be supressed. There is no suppression.
So it doesn't work at least in my report.
To implement the other solution you gave me i suppose that i've to insert the cost center in the expansion and add the property in the member set, is that the way.

How to find out which data control do the page layout components come from?

After have drag and drop data control into pages designer, how to find out which data control do the page layout component (such as a field in form layout) come from?
--i cannot find data control related information in the property pallete for the page layout component.

This information can be found in the page definition file.
Select the field in the page and then click the binding tab.

Show the Static Filter in the print page header

Our customer need the static filter on the head of each printing page. Now i can display the static filter once on the page using:

Surround the object with a div tag. Also, put the title in the header by grabbing the object from your div tag by using the .innerHTML command on the object.

In the new Pages 5.0, what is the page break shortcut key. I cannot find the key as indicated on the drop down menu.

ok, I found the keyboard viewer, it only shows the traditional symbol 'return'. something like a sideway u-turn continued with the arrow under. This is the Canadian or US keyboard.

When I open a link in a new tab, most of the time it opens to the bottom of the page, and I have to scroll back up to the top or hit the Home key.

When reading a web page, I will right-click on a link and select 'open link in new tab' and most of the time it will open the new page right at the bottom. I then have to scroll up with the mouse or hit the 'home' button on my keyboard to get back to the top of the page. I've already looked at the tab settings in the options menu, and there's nothing there that seems to apply.

Photoshoponline has a link you can try which web browser are you using? If may be your browser or that they do not support your camera's raw format. I received an error tht states try layer. I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.
He would edit the item, in a custom list, and click on the address "click to add a new hyperlink" and then he would get the error below after succesfully putting in the Selected URL (http://www.xxxxxx.com), Open
Link in New Window checkbox, the Display Text, and Tooltip:

The farm is running SharePoint 2010 SP2 Enterprise Edition August 2013 CU Mark 2, 14.0.7106.5002
and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

Again, if I update my SharePoint 2010 farm to April 2014 CU is this going to resolve the issue I have?
I don't mind changing the JS file, however I'd like to know / see if there is anything official regarding this instead of my having to change files.

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

The enter key to login pages no longer works in Firefox 5

After upgrading to Firefox 5 hitting the enter key after entering my password on login page does nothing. Before it would submit the page. This was a problem with the beta, too, and I had to downgrade to 4 to fix it. That works fine in 4.

Yes, this is a stupid behaviour. I have it too. Also, in textboxes it doesn't give me new line.
The form sending you can solve via hitting Ctrl + Enter.

My MacBook Pro will not start up. I only get a grey screen with the spinning wheel. No blue page appears and the grey screen remains. Tried starting with the Shift key but ineffective as well.

Can't get my MacBook Pro to start up. Have shut it down several times and tried restarting but all I get is a grey screen with the spinning icon. Apple Support online suggested starting with power button followed immediately with the shift key. Same results. Also tried power button with shift key, command, and V. Black screen appeared instead with lots of data language but still no starting. This final page was suppose to result in an internal system check and restart but nothing happened and the black screen remains.Where do I go from here? Scheduled for the Genius Bar tomorrow but would like to resolve this beforehand.

You may be having a hardware problem that you cannot resolve on your own. Nevertheless...
...hold down the command and R keys whilst booting to try to get to your Recovery partition. If you can, use Disk Utility to try to Verify your boot drive (usually named "Macintosh HD" unless you've renamed it). If the verification fails, try to repair your hard drive. If everything appears to be OK, restart.
If you can't get into your Recovery partition, your problem is likely hardware related. If so, keep your appointment and see what the Apple techs have to say.

I have an Apple Pro keyboard ( the one with a numeric keypad on the right side) for an iMac and a wireless mouse. Using the keyboard is VERY confusing. There are many documents and lots of pages on the different key combinations to use for different functions but I could not find one clear document that explains what certain keys do and/or show how to accomplish certain functions... I am a a very frustrated new Apple (formerly Windows) user astonished that I company that is supposedly delivering user friendly, easy to use products provides a keyboard that one cannot figure out.
1. Page Up and Down in Mail
I have some imported mailboxes with a few hundred Emails which I have to mark "read". I could use the Page Down functionality to quickly highlight all messages in a mailbox but could not locate anything that actually works. Apple's document at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5636?viewlocale=en_US indicates that pressing 9 (with Num Lock off) provides Page Down. Num Lock appears to be the Clear key. When I tried to press Clear it deleted messages and no combination worked with 9 ...

I'd appreciate an explanation of what this key is really supposed to do in different applications.

Firefox is placing a cursor in the html window of pages that cannot be edited messing up the scroll option using the arrow keys

Whenever I click in a window pane to scroll using my arrow keys it is placing a cursor in the window and scrolling off of it, instead of scrolling the entire page by using the arrow key it is scrolling by the cursor location inside of the window like a word document.

My up and down arrows as well as page up and page down no longer work properly only when using firefox. Page up and down function more like the "home" and "end" keys as do the arrow keys.

Honestly I'm not sure if these began just after I updated FF to the current release, but it's been happening for at least 2 weeks. The arrow keys and page up and page down keys all work as if I'm pressing the 'home' and 'end' keys on my keyboard. This is only when using FF. Please contact me if you need more clarification. After spending three months building a twenty six page Book Project in iPhoto i added a page and later decided to delete the page. I selected the page, pressed the delete key and confirmed the delete dialog box ( i didn't read, dummy) by pressing the delete button. The whole project was gone, the undo menu was grayed out and there was nothing in the iPhoto trash about my Book.
Surly I can find this if I knew the path to find the project in a library on a back column I have of my hard drive.. Could anyone help me?

Sorry I'm having a hard time getting this.
If I go to my hard drive BIGMAC>Library>Application Support>iPhoto>the only thing in this folder is Themes.
However, when I "Get Info" it's 580MB for 24,421 items. iPhoto says I have 35,977 photos. I would think the database would be into the GB for this many photos.
If I go to BIGMAC>system>Library>I find nothing about iPhoto
Is the iPhoto file in the Application Support the one I need to replace with my backup?

The pressing the Shift key to make a capital letter kicks me out of gmail or reloads the current web page

I'm suddenly getting some strange behavior on my Windows 7 PC. (I can hear all you Linux users formulating witty retorts...don't do it! :-). When I'm composing an email in Gmail and press the Shift key to get caps, it kicks me out of the composition page. And nothing is saved in drafts either. Internet Explorer doesn't have this issue. The Shift key works normally. Also, If I try to paste using Ctrl+V it make the webpage text shrink. I was trying to log this issue on the computer with the problem but I couldn't login because of the caps and the paste issue.
I just discovered another quirk: If I press the Ctrl key without the +V it still shrinks the text.

Thanks for the suggestion, but there's no option to uninstall a driver. It's a MS Ergonomic 4000 keyboard and it just shows up as an HID compliant device. I tried uninstalling the Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Control Center, but that didn't help either.
I've also pressed the keys numerous times (at one point it asked me if I wanted to enable 'Sticky Keys' which I didn't). Rebooted too. Even deleted the user profile, removed the PC from the domain, rejoined it to the domain, logged in as the user, and restored a previously backed up Transfer Wizard profile. And I checked while logged on as the local Admin and got the same weirdness.
