Even after enabling a disable users in essabse its not working
A user has been disabled for not logging in more than 120 days .i have moved the user from disabled usernames under security to enabled users.but the moment user logs in he is moved to disabled users names automatically what could be the problem.can any one please suggest.
I'm having exactly the same problem with my iPhone 4. Since the upgrade to IOS5, I've noticed I can no longer hear calls through the ear-piece, though using the speaker phone option works fine.
I took my phone to the Apple Store in Sydney and they advised that the problem was related to my sim card & that I should contact my telco for a replacement. I seriously didn't believe the Apple rep when she said this, but politely said thanks, went home and tried it out by swapping my sim with my wife's.
Guess what... it didn't make the slightest difference.
My wife has an iPhone 4 still running IOS4 and the ear-piece works fine. I even put my sim card into her phone and it worked fine as well. So the issue is definitely not related to the sim card.
It sounds like a common issue affecting a lot of iPhone 4 users that have upgraded to IOS5. I'm surprised Apple hasn't acknowledged this and have a patch available to correct (it doesn't sound like a hardware issue).
Anyway, looks like a trip back to the Apple store for more great suggestions.

Try connecting it to another PC, if it is ok, then your PC has some software conflict with iTunes.
If it hangs other PC also, then your iPod Hardisk, maybe bad.
Do the disk diagnosticas posted earlier by tt2, to check the health of your Hardisk.

Hi..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now back to the menu bar, click Safari > Empty Cache
Quit then relaunch Safari.
Try one of the sites you had trouble accessing... -

Yes, the message is self-explanatory. You need a carrier who supports Apple's activation policy for an iPhone.

I tried pressing at the same time ctrl shift comand keys to reset it and then when I try to turn it on again it just starts the screen blinks and the hard drive sounds briefly but then it dead, if you close the mac then the light that glows when is sleepeng turns on and the computer gets hot and the fans turns on and it´s stopped when the battery is dead again.

i get a message when trying to sync..."requried disk cannot be found" even after enableing disk use
First make sure you are using the most up to date version of iTunes and have all the latest Windows updates/patches installed on your PC. From there, try again and if still no luck, make sure you are plugging your iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port.
Otherwise try these steps:
1. Run “c:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc” (i.e. *Device Manager*), and leave it open for now for later use
2. Start up iTunes
3. Next, connect your iPod.
4. Go to your iPod Settings and select the “Enable disk use” option from under theSummary tab.
5. A dialog box will pop up reminding you that you’ll need to manually eject. Go ahead and hit OK
6. Hit Apply to save changes to the iPod
7. Quickly switch to the Device Manager window and right-click on any item within the window and select “Scan for hardware changes”
8. Finally, switch back to iTunes, and try re-syncing your iPod to see if it helped.
It might not also hurt to trash your iPod's Photo cache if it has one (i.e. you sync photos to the iPod). See this article for information on where to find this folder on your Windows XP machine.

My iPod Touvh 4th Generation won't turn on. It will not charge even after I used a few chargers and will not connect to a computer. After installing Mountain Lion, iMessages and Facetime does not work. When I try to sign-in I get a message that says: The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later. After 4 calls to apple and 8 and a half hours on the phone. The apple people does not how to solve the problem. The last thing they told me is that they will send the problem to their engineers and I will hear from them. unfortunately they have not contact me.

Thgen the iPod needs a wifi connection to the internet and yo need another iPod, iPhone or iPad with the FindMyiPhone app. you can also yse any computer too
Only if:
If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.
Via USB with any computer with iTunes and an internet connection
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

My iPad 1 requested activation after being low on power. Activation does not work so I have tried to restore it from iTunes. this progresses but after rebooting, it gets to the activation process for a few minutes and re-boots again - in a loop now. on ios6, not 7. help please?
I also looked at trying to do a manual install of firmware via iTunes but I do not know the version of firmware or how to find it out - so really stuck!
ThanksI pulled my unit out of the dock - powered up and the display goes blank (if you look carefully you can see the bios boot screen, then black, then you can see the backlight turn off.
I plugged in the USB monitor and boom - I could log in.
Once Logged in I could see that windows still thinks it has some of the monitors from the dock, and the internal display is set to disable.
So the issue is the detection / setup of monitors in/out of the dock.
I've done about all I can do for dubugging, I hope lenovo can pick up from here. if not I'll have to call lenovo support.
