Even if cookies are enabled (iPad) the website won't open

All students in my iPad class have enabled all cookies to be able to visit a subject related website. One student however keeps getting the message that he should enable cookies. I have checked his Safari setting together with our school ICT consultant and his settings are okay. What to do?

Tap Settings > Safari
Tap to clear history, cookies, and data. Restart the iPad,
If that didn't help, try a reset ...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Try Safari.

Sometimes this happens again and again. Most of the times if I just open the link in a new tab and don't switch to it, this won't happen. But as I switch too the tab, the text would disappear and the link wouldn't open.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

    Transferring photos from your computer has nothing to do with your iTunes account/Apple ID.
    Photos can be transferred from a single computer only. When transferring photos from another, all photos on the iPad that were transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPad first - even if the photos were transferred from the old or different computer to the new computer being used for syncing.
    When transferring photos from your computer, what is named the iPod Photo Cache is created on your computer for the photos that are transferred and why you see new photos being transferres are optimized before the actual transfer process. The iPod Photo Cache for these photos on the computer the photos were transferred from is not available on your new computer.
    Since all photos on your iPad that were transferred from the old or different computer should remain on that computer, transfer the photos from that computer to your new computer. These photos on your iPad will be erased with the first sync but will be re-transferred along with a new iPod Photo Cache for these photos being created on your new computer.

    Cookies are enabled on my firefox browser but when I attempt to log in to sites (ie facebook) that I have had no trouble logging into in the past (as recently as a few days ago) I get a message saying cookies are disabled. I also cannot get past the "content warning" page of several blogs that I have visited in the past with no problem.

    you could use a servlet, write a cookie and then try to read it, if it's read then it's enabled else not.

This has been happening ever since the new Sync was implemented, so I'm guessing around FF 30. I am now up to FF version 34 and it still isn't working. I have not been able to sync since the "update."
    Problem #1: Going to about:accounts and clicking on the blue Get Started button opens a blank screen. There isn't even a prompt about cookies. It's just blank. Screen shot attached.
    This is before add-ons are disabled. If they're disabled in Safe Mode, we go to Problem #2.
    Problem #2: I skimmed a thread (https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/1017) and tried logging in to Sync through accounts.mozilla.com instead, but though the screen doesn't turn blank while add-ons are still enabled, the "Enable cookies" warning is as far as I can get. Going to about:accounts in Safe Mode has the same result. I have cleared all my cookies and my cache, restarted FF multiple times with and without add-ons enabled, and still nothing. I have browsed this support forum for similar questions, and while other people are having the same issue, none of the other threads have been resolved yet.     Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, I already did all of these things. As you can see from the below screenshot, the language is already set. Also, this screenshot was taken in Safe Mode, so NoScript is not enabled. About:accounts still says I need to enable cookies for some reason. So, this solution didn't work....

    I think this is the problem. .hackers is no valid cookie domain. You have to use something like:
    .xy.ab
    (two points)
    I fear it is not possible to correct this easiely. First change the hostname to something allowed e.g. hackers.com
    Then open an ldap browser and edit ou=iplanetamplatformservice,ou=services,dc=hackers
    There is an entry with an xml. Copy the xml to an editor, search for .hackers, change it to a valid domainname.
    Im not sure if a restart of the webserver is necessary here.
    Another idea: You could also try to set the cookie domain to solnce.hackers, maybe this is accepted, even if it is not a cookie domain. But I dont know if this works...

    Uninstall the old Flash plugin versions > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
    And turn OFF Extensions in Sarfari > Prerferences > Extensions. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
    And check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to:  Open in 32 bit mode  is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
