Even the help files missing in Numbers & Pages

I just went to check a detail in one of my Numbers app on my iPad 2 but when I got there the app was bare.
Yes not a single file or folder in Numbers I check Pages and that's the same.
They are synced with iCloud and backed up & a jpg version is on Dropbox but there is no way to download them.
Can anyone help please?

Check the following settings:
1. Settings>Pages>Use iCloud>On
2. Settings>iCloud>Documents and Data>On

RoboHelp for Word: The Help file opens a blank page

Hello,
The Help files were working fine all these days. Today when i
click on the help on the webpage, it shows a blank page. I am using
RoboHelp for Word X5. I do not get any error message on the screen.
I can just see the progress bar just blinking and also our website
link which says transferring. None of my help files on the live
applications are working
Please help.

That link works for me in IE and FF so I think we can rule
out your output.
If the problem is the call, anyone who accesses it via the
link you gave me should be OK and only see the problem when the
help is called via the application.
If the problem is the help, anyone will see it, no matter how
they access the help.
I think both can be ruled out as they do not fit what you
describe. I would therefore be inclined to forget the RH8 idea.

Are your links up to date? What settings did you use?

Event titles remain, but why did the individual photo titles change into numbers after an upgrade to iPhoto 11?
Why does clicking the iPhoto Help button pop open a new window and promptly invoke the beach ball of death which remains even with iPhoto closed but stops when the App Store app is closed?

When you installed iPhoto 11 did you create a new library and import your old library into it? If so that was not the way to upgrade the library. The correct way is to just open your old library with the new iPhoto application and let the application upgrade the library.
If efforts to repair the corrupted library fail you may have to start over with a new library as follows:
Start over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
2. Open the library package like this.

3. Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
4. Drag the Origianls (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.

This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
The Help file issue might be corrected by running BatChmod on the iPhoto application with the settings shown in this screenshot.

Primavera unable to open the Help files

Hi,
one of my colleagues is failing to access to the help system with Primavera.
He is getting a message that says
"The Address is Not Valid"
there is a screenshot on the attached URL
It is not happening on any other machine.
I have reinstalled the Primavera on his computer and the problem still occurs.
Any guidance on this would be very appreciated.

I have checked the file type for the help file and it is set correctly,
the help file does open outside of the application without any issues.
It only seems to be a problem when open accessing the help file within Primavera.
I even tried setting the language differently (to German) and then accessing the help system but to no avail.
my feeling are there is a missing component are entry somewhere that tells the Helps system where the help files are located.
any further help would be very appreciated

Did the Help Files Change?

I have Flash 8 at work. But I was looking something up in the
AS3 LiveDocs online and noticed that every class entry now has a
little dropdown button to show/hide inherited properties, methods,
events.
I'm pretty sure this wasn't in the built in help files when I
started using AS3. I remember looking at the the MovieClip class
and that it only had, play(), stop() and the goto versions of
those. And thinking, "Not much you can do with a MovieClip if you
follow these help files!"
So first question, have those always been there and I just
missed them?
Next question, did those get added to help files with the
9.0.2 (or whatever) update?
Final question, how awesome and helpful will that be? (Okay
that is more of a statement!)

To my recollection, it's always been there since I've had
CS3. The AS2 version in the help files don't have that, but the AS3
version does :) Yea, I think its awesome, you can go right to
methods properties or even constructor in some cases.

XML file missing in numbers 08

I have recently had to perform an erase and reinstall of snow leopard. On trying to get everything that was working fine before I find that I am now unable to open my numbers documents, this in spite of the fact that I wrote them in numbers 08 and have not updated to numbers 09 since reinstalling snow leopard. What's going on, do I really have to spend £80 just to open existing files with a programme that I already own?

Your message isn't really clear.
The title tell "XML file missing in numbers '08".
Then you write that you are now unable to open your numbers documents.
At last, you wrote that you have not updated to mumbers 09 since reinstalling snow leopard.
Must I understand that you used numbers 09 before reinstalling snow leopard ?
*If you did, the behaviour may be normal.*
When you opened a numbers '08 document with numbers '09,
*if you saved them* they where changed in Numbers '09 documents which can't be opened by numbrs 08.
The soluce would be to install the iwork '09 trial version,
open your documents with it then
Use 'Save As" which gives you the ability to save them as numbers '08 files.

Help files missing after upgrade to Lightroom 3

Dowloaded the upgrade, installed it, reinstalled it... help files missing... message is .. Cannot display help..
Use Lightroom 3 on Win 7 professional at 64bit...

Solved problem by finding a folder in CS5 Photoshop set up files.. under the folder payloads.. and installing setup file for Adobe Help from there.. also installed updates from Adobes website for Media Player and Air...

CS5 - Local Help Files missing

While I was without internet recently, I was unable to browse local help files for Photoshop and Flash Catalyst in my new copy of Creative Suite 5
- Design premium.
I wa prompted to set preferences to browse offline help, and that did not working. Poking around in the actual folders showed me there were missing help files!
Also, the help files I did have all had the word "DRAF" in red at the top! Pretty poor quality control!
Where can I get the updated help files?

Nevermind - I found the "Show Toolbar" Command.

I get the above-mentioned error when I try to access the help file. What to do?
I saw that the same question were raised earlier this year but remained unanswered.
When I check for updates, I am informed that my software is up to date.

Basically, Adobe are moving (or in many instances have already moved) away from Help files being installed on your hard disk. The basic Lr installer no longer includes Help documents, instead it should take you to the page I shared with you earlier.
Hopefully, above helps, otherwise, the folowing excerpt from Adobe Community Help Known Issues page explains futher. It's not specific to Lightroom but does try to 'excuse' the problem you're seeing.

Error message when I try to open the "help" files.

When I try to open the help files in Elements Photoshop 10, I get the following error message in a pop up box. At the top, the box is labeled "Adobe AIR" The message: "Application descriptor could not be found for this application. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance."
I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled both my Elements programs as well as adobe air, and have updated everything that I can think of and a few more things, and still get the same message. Since I am one who often uses help files, I'd appreciate any help with this.

How to add a Font Button in the Top of the Help File

In some of the Help Files (HTML Help), i've seen a Font
button being added in the top of the Help File (for e.g next to
Home button)...when we click this font button, the font size of the
Content present in the Help File Increases/decreases
accordingly....how to add this button in our Help File.
At present i'm creating a HTML Help using Adobe 6..Kindly let
