Even though new photo image shows up in the icon box in the lower corner of the camera screen, the photo did not save to any albums or places on iPhone 5s with ios8.02 update. Happened three times now so I know it is not operator error!
where did my photo go? Three times now I have taken a photo, and can see the image in the little icon box on the camera screen. I click on the icon to use the photo to share, but the photo is nowhere to be found. Sometimes the image is retrievable but three times today alone, no image came up in camera roll, even though image is in the little icon. What is happening?
Hello again... I have the 5S with current capacity of 56 GB and available space of 28GB. (I have several big big rule books and pdf files for work on the phone). There are currently a total of 1627 photos (yes, I know that's a lot...but there used to be even MORE, and I had no problems before ios 8.02) on the phone, and I have done routine purges and deletes and backups to my PC and the Cloud.
When I did the first update to ios 8.0, of course, I found out quickly that photostream and camera roll disappeared, but I was smart enough to figure out that the upgrade created the folder "recently added" and I was able to reinstall the Cloud on my PC and my photos are streaming nicely to the PC and my Ipads (two of them) when I get home to wifi.
Then I did the ios 8.02 upgrade last week. Used my phone to take photos this past weekend while away on a trip, and darn, one of the photos that I really needed, disappeared. I thought perhaps that the problem was "operator error" by the person who took the photo of me. But then last night, I was taking some photos and lo and behold, the same thing happened to me...twice...... the photo image was in the little "icon" box, and I wanted to "share it". So, I touch the icon of the photo, but the photo did not appear in the "recently added" bunch of photos. The previous photo was there. I took another photo, and it appeared normally in the "recently added". <shrug>. Took a few more photos, and once more... the icon showed the image, but no image was in the "recently added" folder.
That's all that I know as of now...... today... no problems. all photos (took about 20) all appeared in "recently added" as they should.

Sounds like you have a battry issue but don't want to believe it.
If a car was running fine on one tank of gas, then you filled it up with another tank of gas and it began to run funny, one might suspect that tank of gas. But let's just say coincidence blew a valve-- would you think the new tank of gas was the culprit?
BUT WAIT!! It just might have been! The gas could have been of higher octane and put more more strain on the valves; you know, like going from 87 octane (OS6) to 93 octane (OS7) and showing you the engine was on the edge of compromise.
Sometimes you have to go with common sense. If everything else is ruled out, it must be the battery. And if it runs fine one moment in OS6 but immediately ***** in OS7, I'd believe my battery was suspect-- though comfy-- in OS6 but the OS7 showed its true power.
Moreover, if you had the answer-- or didn't want to believe someone's more competent advice-- why did you even call? You've already shown that you don't know much when you asked if you could go backwards after setting up the new OS as a new phone.
Additonally, if you're such the know-it-all, but yourself the $29 battery and put it in yourself. It's a piece of cake.

rMBP: Sometimes, after having been shut down, i have to press the power button several times before the machine starts up. It's 3 weeks old, and this has happened 2 times now. Is there something wrong with my rMBP?
Did you purchase the Mac new?
You have 14 calendar days from the time your items are delivered to initiate a return as noted here.
Even though you are past the 14 day limit, if it were me, I'd take the Mac back and explain what's going on. Your Mac should work out of the box.

ipad mini going disabled on first correct attempt at passcode. Has happened three times. had to restore with iTunes each time. Is this one a dud?
Does the screen respond properly to your typing? If it handles other typing correctly, leave the passcode off and see if it wakes and works properly.
If it has problems with recognition of typing, take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check it out. -

After upgrading iPhoto on my MacBook Pro running OSX Yosemite 10.10.3 it continually keeps asking me that it is preparing library. This has happened 5 times now and I can't access my photo's through iPhoto, any suggestions?
There is no upgrade to iPhoto with OS X 10.10.3 - here was an update to version 9.6.1 a few months ago and Photo 1.0 was added with 10.10.3 - what software and which version are you having trouble with - iPhoto or Photos?

I have replied to you three times now without reply. I DID NOT authorise a payment of £9.99 for NowTV. What is the solution to getting my money refunded. I think you assume I will go away after being Ignored. No I will not go away. I find now that you have DISABLED MY APPLE ID. Is this a punishment you use to anyone who takes up a stand against charges being made unauthorised on their account?. Please tell me why you have disabled my account. When will my account be restored? If not when will you refund ALL my purchases made to APPLE/ITUNES? I can then move on to another brand and hopefully better customer service. Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content. -
So I have tried to update my iPod touch about 5 times now and it still says there is an error. I,ve erased all my settings and attempted to restore it, but it wont let me. I'm ready to throw it away and find a new product
Errors when updating leads to corrupt system files and this may be your problem. If you're using windows, connect your device to PC and run any third party app like Syncios. If it detects, you maybe in luck and try to back-up your data if possible. I hope that it won't and if doesn't, there is no other way to recover files. You should be restoring with iTunes and all data will be erased, or else your device may become unusable.

I updated my iphone 4S with iOS 6.1.3 and now I cannot retreive or send my e-mails. We have an Exchange server at work. I still receive the e-mails on all my devices just fine and I can see the subject headings & a small portion of the body of the e-mail, but when I open the e-mails there is no body and it reads, "This message has not been downloaded from the server". Very aggrevating and is not helping my business at ALL!! Same has happened with both iPads we own now.
Delete then add back the exchange acct on each device.

On updating billing info while purchasing an album Rs 60 got deducted from my card. Happened 4 times and purchase also could not be made.
Each time that you add or change the credit card details on your account a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
