Event and........s sub-event?

Hi,
i'm swith definitly to iPhoto to organize all my image images shot in this last 5 yeasr....
now i have about 10k photos...
Now a very easy question:
Events is a very good feature and now i can organize my photo exactly how i want...by event/day !!!
But i don't know how to organize event split on more days.....
My last vacation in Palma di Majorca give me about 450photos split on 10days....
with a digital camera is very easy shot much...
How organize this evenbts?
More events or a single big events?
Is there a way to create events inside an events?

Events are very limited. The are based only on time and date. You cannot have sub-events.
For that use Folders and Albums.
File -> New Folder Call it Palma
New Album: Day one. Put the pics from Day one into the Album, then put that Album into the Folder.
You can also make Smart Albums based on date.
Also, click on the Magnifying Glass icon in the Search Window. Select Date: this way you can find any pic taken on a specific day, month or year.

Your right, there is only one tab to view the report.
To open the subreports you will need to click on them in the main report. I don't know of a way to open them programmatically like you are doing here

Mapping and creating new instances of a node and its sub-nodes

hi,
i need to map every 3 items from source interface to 1 in target interface.
i have on target interface parent node which is called 'item' and occurs 0..unbounded (and other sub-nodes).
this node have a sub-node which is called 'item_data' and occurs 0..3.
i created a mapping:
source_item ->counter->checking mod 3--->if

when i test mapping with 1-3 source_item the sub-nodes 'item_data' are created,
but when i try 4-5 and more , 'item' node is created twice but the second instance has no sub-nodes of
'item_data' (it has other sub-nodes).
can someone tell me how to solve my problem?

for the mapping of item node the queue should look like:

I guess you have used some udf for the target parent node (item) mapping. I am trying myself to generate the queue for item_data using standard functions, but yet to come up with the desired result. If achieved will let you know..................for now it seems that writing a UDF (queue) would be the best approach.
iterate through the input queue array (source item_data values all in same context using RemoveContext) and insert a ResultList.CC after every third element in the array.
Hope you can come out easily with the java for this logic. Let me know if it's helpful.

Are you just looking to find if any two files underneath a folder have the same name?
If you just want to know that a file named "whatever" exists in two folders, that's not too difficult, but you probably want to know the full path names.
Here's one attempt:
$ perl -MFile::Find -le 'find(\&w, "."); while (($n,$p)=each %file) {if(@{$p}>1){print join(" ",@{$p})}} sub w{push @{$file{$_}},$File::Find::name;}'That will print the pathnames on the same line of any files with the same name that appear anywhere underneath your current directory.
It's a bit long for a "one-liner", but functional.

In vendor Master data, in Control tab, enter the Customer No., similarly in Customer master data mention the vendor number. This links the vendor and the customer.
Secondly, in Payment transactions tab, there is a check mark for Clearing with Customer tick that. Similarly in Customer master data, tick this check mark in Payment transactions tab.
Next when you go for clearing of Vendor, you will also see Customer line items to clear.. and you can net off the amount between the customer outstanding and vendor Liability.

How to ZIP the files and folders/sub folder files using java

HI All,
I'm New to this Forum, Could anybody tell me how to zip the files and folders/sub folders using java. For example I have a folder with the name testfolder and side that folder I have some files and some sub folders inside subfolders I have some other files. I need to ZIP the files and folders as they are in same hierarchy.
Any pointers or help wolud be appritiated.

BEA Event Server and Pub/Sub for WS Notification

Can the event server be used as a Pub/Sub engine for external clients to subscribe to notifications, similar to the way a JMS implementation works? It looks, from the documentation, that it could not be used in that capacity -- that it may only exist for internal java applications only.

WLEvS 2.0 doesn't have this, but the next release will have an HTTP pub/sub server which will allow external clients to subscribe to events.

Logical Database PNPCE and inherited Sub Area

Hi,
I have asked this in the HR forum but no response......
I have a report using Logical Database PNPCE to find some values from a couple of info types. When I select a unit (from the 'OrgStructure' button at the top of the screen), say 111, and all its sub-units with no selections in the selection screen, I get one person displayed. This is correct and this person is in a sub-unit 3 levels down (unit 333).
I then added a selection to only display people in units with Personnel SubArea 'OTEC'. Now I get no results output. When I look in PPOME, I can see that unit 333 has Personnel SubArea 'OTEC' but it is inherited from '111'.
In PP01, unit 111 has an Account Assignment entry (Info Type 1008) but 333 does not.
Does anyone know how to report on this?
Is there a flag somewhere that tells the LDB to check for inherited units?
If not, any ideas if there is a function out there to find the superior unit for these sub-units?

I am aware of that FM but how do I find the parent unit in a clever fashion?
The structure could have multiple levels e.g.
Unit 1 - Unit 2a - Unit3a......
- Unit 2b
- Unit 2c
Unit 1 is the parent and all the below units inherit from it.
The LDB is looping through an internal table with a list of the units. It finds Unit 1 but not the rest.
So, when the LDB is looking for Unit 3a, how does it know that Unit 1 is the parent?
If I use that FM, I think I would have to look for all units above it and see if there is an Info Type 1008 exists. Seems like a lot of processing for something that should be simple?

Project Server 2010 - Error 20010 with a master project and 3 sub-projects during publication

Here is the situation :
One master project with three sub projects.
Sub projects are really similar (Same ressources and nearly same tasks but only the first contain real work for now).
Sub projects got no sub projects nor links between projects.
The owner of the master project got read rights through projects permissions on sub projects.
Sub projects are link in "read only".
We applied Project Server 2010 SP2 last week end and the issue appeared monday.
Here are the symptoms :
When we link only one sub project (Doesn't matter which one), the owner can publish, no problems.
With 2 sub projects, the error may occur.
With 3 sub projects, the error always occurs.
With admin rights, the error doesn't occur.
Here is the error :
ID : 20010 (0x4E2A)
Description : You don't have required permissions to perform the action (Average traduction)
Detail : <detail><errinfo><general><class name="Project"><error id="20010" name="GeneralSecurityAccessDenied" uid="19515c1d-2624-466f-953a-b7fc67337b81"/></class></general></errinfo></detail>
I'm unable to determine which sub project is the culprit, if there is one, as it's working when I link only one of them.

If the project manager in question does not need to edit any of the three projects, the PM does not need to have Read/Write access to any of the three projects. Because you said that the PM needs to set links in all three projects, this means that
the PM will be editing all three projects. In order to edit the three projects, the PM must have Read/Write access to all three. Setting cross-project links constitutes editing of the projects, which is why the PM must have Read/Write permission.
Make sense?
Regarding SP2, I am not aware that this would change anything, but I could be wrong. The reality is that regardless of which SP you have applied to Microsoft Project and Project Server 2010, the PM in this situation MUST have Read/Write access to the
projects that he/she needs to edit with cross-project links. Hope this helps.

Encrypt sensitive with password and calling sub pkgs

Hi we run 2012 enterprise and r introducing a db2 connection that "allows saving password".
We run from the file system (not the catalog) and face a challenge.
The default prot level on the SUB PACKAGE that has the db2 connection (only such connection right now) prevents our prod credentials from making the connection because its a different user than the one that created the sub pkg.
Encrypt sensitive with password seems a more strategic alternative but I dont know if the param (I think its called "decrypt") on the dtexec command line that allows passing a password at run time applies to just the parent pkg or all subs also.
I dont want to delay validation. I wouldnt even mind changing the xml connection string (by entering pswd in whatever syntax is necessary) using notepad but dont know what issues that will cause.
I wouldnt mind having someone logon and "re" save the pkg using the credentials of our prod userid and choosing the default prot level instead.
I also wonder if none of the other pkgs (including master) dont have any sensitive data, can their prot level defaults be left alone?
Can the community comment?

If you are having sensitive info (passwords for conn strings etc) in our packages, the best way is to change the protection level to "encrypt sensitive with password" and then provide the password.
When we schedule a job or exec the parent package, the child packages are called automatically.

Click on the button Multiple assets and fill in there the main asset and sub numbers. You have to fill them all in. There is no transaction that you can do this with filling in only the main-asset number

How and When Sub-Ledger Data is populated into XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS Table

Hello Gurus
I have been working on a Sub-Ledger Accounting and I could get a fair idea of how data is being transferred from XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS to XLA_AE_LINES and XLA_AE_HEADERS. As per my understanding, During "Create Accounting" process, data from XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS will be summed up based on JOUNRAL_LINE_TYPES rules and conditions to load into XLA_AE_LINES and XLA_AE_HEADERS. Then during "Transfer to GL" process, data from XLA_AE_LINES and XLA_AE_HEADERS is transferred to GL Tables. What I didn't understand is how and When data gets loaded into XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS. What are the rules and conditions and during which step data will be loaded to XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS table? Can somebody please explain me how data is transferred from Sub-Ledger Distribution Tables to SLA Distribution Table?

Above Notes are good.
But I just wanted to add a staight point.
xla_distribution_links and xla_ae_lines will get populated at the same time.
Both goes on JLTs and their conditions. One is detailed and the other is summarized / merged.
xla_ae_lines will have extra balancing lines and xla_distirbution_links will have extra gain / loss lines, which end up with zero amount.
Also check the links for the setup of distribution identifiers.

Mac Freezes and D-sub

Hello!
Recently, after upgrading my monitors from samsung 21inch and panasonic 16 inch to 23 inch noc I got problem!
As you already know I got 2 monitors, one connectet with adaptor provided with mac min second one with hdmi.
When i open game, league of legends and it goes to full screen loading mode, my NOT MAIN screen says D-Sub and my mac freezes.
While it freezes i cannot do anything! I can hear music or video which was playing before it happens but apart from that, nothing i can do!
What can i do?!

How to get and expand sub OU's when + is expanded from a treeview

I am having an issue. I have a treeview that populate all ous in a specific location in AD. The issue I am having is that it takes a long time to populate the ou as the domain we are using have multiple OU as well as sub OU's. Could someone please
help me so that the root level OUs are populated in the treeview and as the user select the ou the + query and expand if there is any sub ous at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Based on my understanding on your code, maybe you forget to keep loop through the entry which contains children, you could consider adding the following line to test.
