"event cannot be created...server error", and more

I have NEVER been able to reliably or consistently have iCloud sync calendar events between my iPhone5, iCloud and MacBook Pro (all running latest software). Occassionally if I enter an event on the phone it'll show up on the iCloud account (and vice versa), but certainly not always, or even most of the time. Events entered on the Mac virtually never sync to anywhere else. [Contacts, no problem.] I tried reinstaling Mntn Lion and for about five minutes several test events from each of the three sources (phone, iCloud and pwrbk) did show up in the other places but then it reverted to the inconsistent, useless behavior as before.
Now I can't even create events on the web: when I try I get a message: "This event couldn't be created because of a server error; please try again." This happens regardless of browser (Chrome, Safari or Firefox). Tried creating a new iCloud acct but no work.
Is anyone able to help: would appreciate (love, love, love) a step by step walk through the necessary steps on each device to make thi happen. Without this functionality I have to always carry around the Pwrbk to have my calendar available, missig out on one of the major functionalities offered by these devices.

I used to have 2 calendars on my Mac before using iCloud (Home and Work) and I backed them up by exporting to .ics files. I had so much headache with the iCloud syncing that decided to create a new Apple ID and to start everything new.
I first imported the Home and Work ICS files into my Mac and then I created a new "Family" calendar for my family's activities. Only the new Family calendar gets synced by iCloud. The Home and Work calendar would not get synced. I tried entering my calendar item from Mac and from my iPhone. Only the new Family calendar gets synced. So weird.
And when I tried entering something from iCloud.com, I get the same "This event couldn't be created because of a server error; please try again." message.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

Have you tried deleting the account and re-adding it on the phone?

This behavior is stemming from a change in MP 7.0 MR2 to disable the MPWeb login for system profiles. This was an internal change made by the developers to restrict the log on to the MPWeb page by the default accounts created in MeetingPlace upon installation. The change now displays this error when the admin account is attempted to be used for MPWeb login, as you experienced-
Error:[22953] You cannot sign in to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server interface using preconfigured system profiles.
You should be able to log into MPWeb using any other user profile that you have either created manually or pulled in from LDAP/Active Directory. You just cannot use the admin account. This is reserved for login to the MP Application Server Administration page only. I am going to work to get this information added to the MP 7.0 documentation with a note for changed behavior in MR2 and above. Here is the note from MP 8.0 documentation-
Note: You cannot use this preconfigured admin profile to access the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server interface. Instead enter the User ID and password information from one of the other user profiles that have system administrator privileges to sign in to the Web Server.

Think I'm getting closer (Lol). I did as you suggested and changed the web url to http://localhost:8888/Documents/projects/whoknew/. As you suggested I moved the local site to the Documents folder under the sub-folder projects. It is connecting to the server, but now I am getting the requested url cannot be found on the server. 1. Applications 와 Database tier 의 context file 에서 "s_display" 변수가 제대로 설정 되었는지 확인 한다.
Nav : Application (OAM) > AutoConfig > Edit Parameters
"s_display" 변수는 반드시 아래와 같은 형식으로 설정 되어 있어야 하며 해당 Display Server 가 반드시 running 상태 여야 한다.
"DISPLAY <hostname or ip address>:0.0"
2. 'root' user 로 Display Server에 접속 하여 DISPLAY 환경 변수를 아래와 같이 설정한다.
For csh:
% setenv DISPLAY <hostname or ip address>:0.0
example: setenv DISPLAY 192.168.1.128:0.0
For sh, ksh and bash:
$ DISPLAY=<hostname or ip address>:0.0; export DISPLAY

yes,
you got crash aka shortdump in your system.
- webserver: didn't crash, because it issued an error 500, so it works
- remains either the soap runtime, which usually doesn't dump but throw errors and the application itself.
I'd look into the tracefiles (ST11) or tie the debugger to the service in question (SICF) and try to find out hat happens/d.

I can logon to the Adobe site and have a valid Adobe ID and Password. Previous version worked fine, but I cannot get past the Authoriztion Screen on Version 2.0.   Get the error message, "Activation Server error", "code : E_AUTH_NOT_READY". Repeated attempts yeild the same problem.

     - Deauthorize ADE and Re-launch it.

Cannot open SQL Server error on 64 bit Windows 7

I have a client running a Crystal 8.5 report that includes an embedded subreport. The subreport based on a second database is not updating and sometimes the report reports an error "Cannot open SQL Server".
The database is open and available, and the report works on a 32-bit XP machine on the same database with the exact same report on the same network.
The report works on my development machine with the clients database and the exact same report (my system is Windows 7 32-bit) - different office setup.
Because the report only has problems on the 64-bit, I am wondering if there is a pathing problem from the Program files (x86) or some such issue.
I have copied the files in the c:\Windows\Crystal directory to the c:\Windows\system32 directory. I've come across issues with Terminal Services that required this in the past.
If it matters, the main report is based on the MS Text Driver running off csv files and the subreport is based on a MySQL database using the 3.51 ODBC driver.
Does anyone know any issues and/or solutions related to running Crystal/32 bit programs on a 64 bit system?

CR 8.5 is not supported on 64 bit OS's or ANY Terminal Servers.
The location for 32 bit applications on a 64 bit OS is \windows\syswow64.

Environment: SBS 2008, Exchange 2007
I have a remote ip with SSL cert
https://remote.immigrantwomenservices.com setup on SBS Web Application site.
When I try to access it I get
500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
and when I try to access OWA through https://remote.immigrantwomenservices.com/owa I get
HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable
I checked the OWA on SBS Web Application and it is binding to remote.immigrantwomenservices.com on 443 and the SSL on exchange is valid as well.
The Default web site is disabled.
I don't know where to look. Please any ideas or pointers are appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem on one of my Macs (MBP 15 Mid-2010 / OS X Yosemite): Both reader and Acrobat Pro download without a hitch. Both also install with no problem.
But once you click the program to open, they both return "an internal error occurred".
I tried downloading three separate copies, and still get the same error message when I install and launch. I've also uninstalled the previous installations via CleanMyMac2 to make sure it's no longer in the SSD. Same results.
Am using a new SSD as internal boot drive, with fresh / clean installation of OS X and Apps (previous internal HDD crashed) -- And am seeing errors not only with Acrobat, but also with LR5 which always comes up with a "An error occurred when attempting to change modules" -- inspite or uninstall, download and reinstall. Not sure if it's a registry issue? (Not even sure if that's the case with OS X).
Do I need to reformat the whole SSD? I hope not!
