Event ID repeated

Dear all,
I just want to know whether it is possible to get same Event ID twice because of error.
As I got one event ID for the first time as
d68e0f21-9ed8-e0eb-97ab-902e32fd4514
and the server was down.
Again I got other Event ID as
9c5cf863-ba5e-c4cb-a34d-dfa7c5e25e72Again
and the system was down again.
But after some day when I rebooted the system I got both Event ID just as message but the system is in running conditions. Is the system with the problem or the message was just repeated due to problem logs before.

Please check the ACL to make sure that NETWORK SERVICE and LOCAL SERVICE has Local Activation permission.
In "Start search here" or in "run" type without the qoutes "dcomcnfg" and press ENTER.
You should see the COM+ MMC after a while. Navigate to "Component Services > Computer > My computer". Right click my computer and select properties.
In the tab "Deafult Properties" make sure that "Default authentication level" is at least set to "Connect" and "Default impersonation level" is set to at least "Identify".
Under "COM Security" tab in "Local Launch and Activation Permissions" on you may edit the Default and Limits to allow NETWORK SERVICE and LOCAL SERVICE to allow "Local Activation" as the error messages indicates it do not have
today.
Recommend that you restart the server after modifying the access, then test Windows Server Backup.
If issue persists, please help provide the result of following 2 commands:
vssadmin list providers
vssadmin list writers

Create one on the first Tuesday, select repeat/monthly and take the option at the bottom.

I added a calendar event to repeat every two weeks, but it repeats every day.

I've added a calendar event to repeat every two weeks, but it repeats every day. The original event was set up for all Day on Wednesday, Nov 5. Setting up for a single day worked fine. Add the repeat option and select every two weeks...and it shows up every day until the end date. I've re-booted the phone and tried other start dates. Same result. This is in the base iPhone calendar. No other calendars have been installed. iPhone 6 iOS 8.0.2. Any suggestions?

Found a workaround:
Just change each attribute 1 item at a time.
Create the calendar entry for one day only with no other settings.
Go back in and edit it so that its every two weeks, then leave and confirm this worked.
Open calendar back up and add in the end date.
That's the only way I could get it to accept those settings, one attribute at a time.
Misc. bug I suppose. I miss the "It just works" days. Living in silicon valley, the QA engineering buds I have at apple go on rants about the undisclosed/undiscovered but known bugs in ios every time we're having drinks. From what I hear, internally IOS8/8.1 weren't ready for prime time push just yet.

It is possible to have multiple libraries in a single account and use each one for a different iPod without affecting the other. To create or access a second (or more) library, hold down the Option key when launching iTunes 7. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to the other Library.
Note: You can only have one Library open at a time and iTunes will default to the last library opened if you don't use the keyboard command to choose one. This can prove tricky when using multiple iPods, if you don't use the keyboard command you can risk syncing to the wrong library but if you are only going to update your Dad's iPod periodically this shouldn't be an issue:

How can i organize events that repeat every year with iphoto. For example, if i make picrues every year or 1 time a month, of my doughter, for example:
Playing with our dog in the garden january 2012
Playing with our dog in the garden march 2012
Playing with our dog in the garden October 2012
Playing with our dog in the garden december 2012
Playing with our dog in the garden march 2013
I don't know, what is the intelligent type of eventname.
If i made "Playing with our dog in the garden", than i cant see the difference of growing (3 Month old chilren is completle different of a 5 Month old children)
If i made "Playing with our dog in the garden Month Year" then the events are hundrets in 5 Year.
I think, i don't understand, how to organize the contents with events. Is thera a whitepaer, a guide or somethink like that to take the DB organized how Apple iPhoto is meaning?

The Trick is to create an Album
Playing with Dog in Garden
Drag the images you want from the Events to the Album. Sort the Album on Date. Now you have a chronological view of your daughter playing in the garden with the Dog.
Albums are similar to playlists in iTunes. The contain pointers to files in the Library, so they use no disk space. An shot therefore can be in as many albums as you want.

I use Events simply as big buckets of Photos: Spring 08, July - Nov 06 are typical Events in my Library. I use keywords and Smart Albums extensively. I title the pics broadly.
I keyword on a
Who
What
Where basis (The When is in the photos's Exif metadata). I also rate the pics on a 1 - 5 star basis.
Using this system I can find pretty much find any pic in my 50k library in a couple of seconds.
So, for example, I have a batch of pics titled 'Seattle 08' and a typical keywording might include: John, Anne, Landscape, mountain, trees, snow. With a rating included it's so very easy to find the best pics we took at Mount Rainier.
File -> New Smart Album
set it to 'All"
title contains Seattle
keyword is mountain
keyword is snow
rating is 5 stars
Or, want a chronological album of John from birth to today?
New Smart Album
Keyword is John
Set the View options to Sort By Date Ascending
Want only the best pics?
add Rating is greater than 4 stars
The best thing about this system is that it's dynamic. If I add 50 more pics of John to the Library tomorrow, as I keyword and rate them they are added to the Smart Album.
In the end, organisation is about finding the pics. The point is to make locating that pic or batch of pics findable fast. This system works for me.

ICal Events not Repeating!

Greetings everyone,
For a while back (in January 2005), I started an event that I set for repeat every month and stop after 12 times, since then I upgraded to Tiger (a week after Tiger was launched)...
This event was repeating itself till October, but i can't find it repeating in November or December, and to the best of my knowledge, I haven't updated iCal or anything for some time now (2 months or so...)
Also when I got back to January, and re-entered the repeating conditions, it still isn't repeating in these two months...
Any ideas?

For your repeating even, I'm assuming this is your Yahoo calendar? that isn't a Firefox issue, I suggest you try to contact yahoo.
For the other issue, try the following:

Custom Events are repeating with the standard events

Hello All,
I am facing a problem with the customization of standard OA Page.
We have modified the page by adding a new custom region with three buttons in it. We have also developed a controller for that region to handle the events. when a button is clicked, a new page opens up in a new window.
I have observed that the custom controller is called when any event occurs in the page irrespective of the region.
Now the actual problem is whenever any of the custom buttons are clicked, according to the requirement the new window opens up. But if we perform any other standard events in the page like clicking a standard LOV immediately after performing the custom event, then that most recent custom event is repeating with that standard event.
how to prevent this repetetion of custom event with standard event?
please help me solve this problem..

Calendar app crashing when adding any event with repeat

On my thrive when I'm using the calendar app (the default android one) I can add one-time events just fine. However, when i try to add an event and select any repeat options (like weekly, monthly, etc), when I click "done" the app disappears (crashes). Strange though there is no force close message or anything. When I open the calendar again, I can confirm the repeat event was never added. I even tried a downloaded calendar app and while it did not crash it would still not enter any events with repeats. The "add event" dialogue just disappears and the event never appears on the calendar. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I am having the same problem. I my case I can never do a repeating event in the native calendar app, whether it's a new event or a modified one. Talked to support at Toshiba (multiple times) and they blamed it on the Android software. Suggested I download another calendar app from the market called "Ancal" which was a joke because it does not even support repeating events. I tried a few as others have. Since I'm using "myphoneexplorer" to sync my data with Outlook on my laptop vs. using google site for sync, I had to find one that works. I found that "Touch Calendar" (they have a free version you can test before buying) works great. All my existing events populated after install on the tablet. All you have to do is delete any repeating events you have in Outlook and do a sync, then any repeating events created via Outlook and/or your tablet sync perfectly.

I go to a school with a 4-day timetable; that is to say, classes repeat in the same order every 4 days. Is there any way to get events in Calendar to repeat every 4 business days?

I want to create a repeating event for the last day of each month. Is this possible?

Unfortunately Apple does not have an option available that allows you to add an event repeating on the last day of the month. An "OK" way around this would be to repeat on the 1st of every month and send a reminder a day earlier. I know this is less then perfect but the only option currently available. If you happen to find a 3rd party program that allows such integration please don't hesitate to mention it here as I have been looking for this sort of option for quite some time now!

Scheduling an Event to Repeat on the i'th week day of each month

Regular repeating, meetings generally fall on the something like the "second Tuesday of each month". This type if option is available on both my Palm devices and Google calendars. Is there a way to do this on the IPhone? It seems like a pretty basic scheduling option to be missing. Does Apple keep a list of enhancement requests and their status?

I know this may not be the way we all want it to work, but if you make your custom repeat on your computer and then sync to the phone, it will work fine. That is, if you make an event in outlook (I'm on a mac so I use iCal, but I'm pretty sure it works the same) and set the repeat to the 2nd Tuesday of each month, when you sync and then look at the event on your iphone, you'll see the repeat is set to "custom", and when you tap the edit button, you'll see that it says "second Tuesday of each month".
I agree this functionality should be in the iphone itself, as it can recognize the repeats, but at least at this point they can't be edited on the iphone itself but for the simple set of choices there.

I need an event to repeat on the 1st Thursday of every month; the only option I have is every 6th or every 8th day.

I would like to have a repeating event on the first and third Thursday of every month. I cannot make a repeating monthly event on the same day of the week.
