Event In Editable ALV

Hello,
I have a problem in getting the event when adding a new row in ALV using OOP.
Here's my requirement:
I have an initial output, and I have a custom button, which when pressed, will make the fields editable. There is also a new set of toolbar shown. In the toolbar, is a button which the user can add a row, or delete a row. Now my problem is I can't handle the event in adding a new row, since I still need to do some validation on the input of the user.
Anyone who can give an insight on how to do this?
Any response is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Louisse

Hello Preet
I can only tell you how I would solve this using the ALV grid control (CL_GUI_ALV_GRID) because I have abandoned using ALV function modules.
The problem with running through PAI is whether the focus (i.e. the cursor) is still on the control or already on the (surrounding) main program. If the control has the focus, you do not run through PAI.
I would add a "Refresh" button to the toolbar of the ALV list. Normally, this button is already there or you only have to make it visible.
When the user pushes this button you catch the corresponding user-command and call the CHECK_DATA_CHANGED method to see if values have been changed on the editable grid. If so, the previous method will fire event DATA_CHANGED.
Now, in the event handler method (e.g. HANDLE_DATA_CHANGED) you receive as input a data change object (CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL). This object contains all changed values. These values you will need to make your checks.
I assume that the logic will be similar using ALV function modules.

    Hi,
    I would like to know if there exists an event to handle TABout (i.e, when user navigates out of the cell with a TAB key-press) for a cell of an editable ALV.
    Alternatively, any help on how to handle ON_ENTER event and how it is triggered when data is entered by user into a cell of an editable ALV, would be really appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Adithya

    Hi
    I had one similar problem where user enter something into the editable cell and press enter. to handle this scenario i used WDDOBEFOREACTION  method of my view to call alv interface method check_data.
    if there is any change in the any table cell, it will fire an event on_data_check..which has paramater column name, row index and new and old value of the cell.
    you can handle this event and write your business logic in event handler method.
    hope it will help

  • Enter Key Event in Editable ALV Grid

    Hi all,
    I am trying to create and editable ALV grid using the REUSE ALV FM.
    On the grid after changing a value, if I press enter key the pai is not triggered. I have tried the various example programs (BCALV*) but could not find anything relevant.
    Basically I need similar functionality to normal module pool programming as in validations on screen done when enter key is pressed after screen entry.
    Is it possible to capture the Enter keypress on the ALV grid?

  • Event Handling in Editable ALV

    Hi all,
    I am having 4 to 5 fields in my module pool screen and at the same time i am having a custom container wherein, there is editable ALV [using OOPS Editable ALV inside a custom container].
    Here in editable ALV, i am having an editable field called dealer code.When i enter dealer code in editable ALV and press enter
    my dealer name and dealer address in editable ALV inside Custom Container should get populated.
    But when the cursor is inside the custom container in that editable field none of my screen eventsModule pool events
    are getting triggered [Hence my values are not getting populated.When the cursor is outside the custom container all my module pool events are working fine, hence values are getting populated....
    *I am handling the event in my program.But i don't know where exactly i should create object and handle this as
    nothing is getting triggered[pai or pbo] when my cursor is inside the custom container.
    Could you suggest me anything...*
    Waiting for your repiles...

    Hi
    First of all you need to creat object in PBO.
    You must be calling method SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY.After this call method REGISTER_EDIT_EVENT.And then REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY.
    In OK code create an OK code with name "OK".This is for ENTER key.
    And in that call method CHECK_CHANGED_DATA.
    Sample code for REGISTER_EDIT_EVENT is given below:
    *--event to detect if data gets edited
      CALL METHOD OBJ_ALV2->REGISTER_EDIT_EVENT
        EXPORTING
          I_EVENT_ID = CL_GUI_ALV_GRID=>MC_EVT_MODIFIED
        EXCEPTIONS
          ERROR      = 1
          OTHERS     = 2.
      IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
        MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
                   WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
      ENDIF.
    Sample code for CHECK_CHANGED_DATA
    *--when alv is edited and ENTER button is clicked then data
    *will be saved in internal table and edited data will
    *be displayed on alv
      IF V_OK_CODE = 'OK'.
    *--metohd to detect if data was changed in oops alv
        CALL METHOD OBJ_ALV2->CHECK_CHANGED_DATA
         IMPORTING
           E_VALID   =
         CHANGING
           C_REFRESH = 'X'
      ENDIF.
    Hope this solves your problem.

  • Editable ALV: value transport before event handling

    Hi everybody,
    I'm really going crazy over this one: I'm developing an editable ALV using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID and I'm trying to check the entered data both on pressing enter and on pressing SAVE.
    Since I want to use the error log protocol I'm doing all of these check in the data_changed event handling. Now this is where it gets tricky: When a user enters a value and presses the SAVE button without pressing enter first, the following code is executed:
    CALL METHOD GOB_D1100_ALV02_GRID->CHECK_CHANGED_DATA
    So since I registered the data_changed event, will trigger the event handling BEFORE transporting the value from the GUI to the internal table. The value is only transfered after the data_changed event (where I want to make my checks because of the error protocol) is executed.
    How do I get my internal table updated before event handling?
    Best wishes,
    Ben

    YEHAW! I found a solution to my problem in this thread: editable alv: add custom validation and display "errors" in protocol list
    What you need to do is change your internal table yourself accordingly to the changes that you did on the ALV GRID.
    You can find the modified rows in table MP_MOD_ROWS of object P_ER_DATA_CHANGED.
    Then all you need to do is modify your internal table accordingly. Works like a charm (:
    FORM ALV_EVENT_DATA_CHANGED  USING P_ER_DATA_CHANGED TYPE REF TO CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL
                                                                              P_SENDER.
      DATA: LTA_MOD_CELLS TYPE LVC_T_MODI.
      DATA: LST_MOD_CELLS TYPE LVC_S_MODI.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS: <LFS_MOD_ROWS> TYPE TABLE.
      LOOP AT P_ER_DATA_CHANGED->MT_MOD_CELLS INTO LST_MOD_CELLS.
        ASSIGN P_ER_DATA_CHANGED->MP_MOD_ROWS->* TO <LFS_MOD_ROWS>.
        READ TABLE <LFS_MOD_ROWS> ASSIGNING <FS_D1100_ALV02_DATA> INDEX LST_MOD_CELLS-TABIX.
        MODIFY GTA_D1100_ALV02_DATA FROM <FS_D1100_ALV02_DATA> INDEX LST_MOD_CELLS-ROW_ID.
      ENDLOOP.
    Thank you very much for your assitance

  • Editable ALV with checkbox, how to use on_change event

    Hi experts,
    I used an editable  ALV. In firs collumn I Used an cell editor checkbox (cl_salv_wd_uie_checkbox). I neet to react on each click on each checkbox in order to do some actions in context, that is not part (mapped) to ALV.
    There are IF_SALV_WD_CONFIG~CHANGED event in checkbox class. Is it possible to use (and how) this event for my task ? Any example ?...
    Thanks, Gabriel

    Hi Gabriel,
    Try uisng ON_DATA_CHECK event.
    Create a method and assign the above mentioned event. In the method have the folleoing code.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <l_value> TYPE ANY                           .
    Find the check box that has modified
      LOOP AT r_param->t_modified_cells INTO ls_modified_cell
        WHERE attribute EQ 'ATTRIBUTE NAME'.
        ASSIGN ls_modified_cell-r_value->* TO <l_value>           .
        CLEAR lv_index                                            .
        lv_index = ls_modified_cell-index                         .
      ENDLOOP
    <l_value> should have the value. In your case X or space.
    You can also find index for that which is lv_index.
    So now you know the index so u know in which cell the check box is modified.
    Try that.
    Thank You,
    Gajendra.

    Try to capture the event DATA_CHANGED_FINISHED. You can use the method REGISTER_EDIT_EVENT of the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID to register the edit events.

  • Row wise total in editable ALV

    hello all,
                I am workin on editable alv, the user need to enter the values in the editable fields and in the last column(non-editable) i need to populate the total row wise,as soon as user enters a value and goes to next editable cell or on entering a vale and press enter.how to accomplish this task...
    with regards,

    You need to Implement the OnCellAction event.follow these steps;
    1. Goto WDDOMODIFYVIEW and place the following code
    IF first_time IS INITIAL.
        DATA lo_cmp_usage TYPE REF TO if_wd_component_usage.
        lo_cmp_usage =   wd_this->wd_cpuse_usg_alv( ).
        IF lo_cmp_usage->has_active_component( ) IS INITIAL.
          lo_cmp_usage->create_component( ).
        ENDIF.
        DATA lo_interfacecontroller TYPE REF TO iwci_salv_wd_table .
        lo_interfacecontroller =   wd_this->wd_cpifc_usg_alv( ).
        DATA lo_value TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_config_table.
        lo_value = lo_interfacecontroller->get_model(
        CALL METHOD lo_value->if_salv_wd_table_settings~set_cell_action_event_enabled
         EXPORTING
            value = abap_true.
      ENDIF.
    2. Implement the onCellAction event as follows;
        Goto Methods tab, create a new method. Method Type- Event Handler , Event - ON_CELL_ACTION
    3. Now in this  method retrive the contents of the row and calculate the value as follows.
    DATA: l_element TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
      DATA:ls_stru TYPE wd_this->element_cn_alv.
      DATA: l_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      l_node  = wd_context->get_child_node( 'CN_ALV' ).
      l_element = l_node->get_element(  r_param->index ).
      l_element->get_static_attributes( IMPORTING static_attributes = ls_stru ).
      ls_stru-last_col = ls_stru-col1+ls_stru-col2....+ ls_stru-col5. " add all the cells data
      l_element->set_static_attributes( exporting static_attributes = ls_stru ).

  • Check_changed_data method on editable ALV Grid ( class cl_gui_alv_grid)

    Hi guys,
    I use the following method (register_edit_event) in the PBO soon after first display of an editable ALV grid to register enter as an event to do validations on fields like qty. If user enters some character like 'abc' for qty and hits enter on keyboard, ALV grid pop's up a standard message ( I haven't coded for this.Since I use DDIC structure in field catalog, the Std. ALV program takes care of it. ). THis takes care of the validation before I click on save.
    call method alv_grid->register_edit_event
                            exporting
                               i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_enter.
    This works fine. But I want this validation to run when I also click the SAVE button of the screen. Is it possible to run this standard validation in my PAI event eg. SAVE ? I thought I will be, by calling the method check_changed_data in my PAI event. But this is doing nothing. Does this method conflict with register_edit_event or something ? So , basically what I am looking for is to trigger the event or call the method which does the same work as the "check" button on ALV grid.
    Any advice or tips or sample code is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Shareen

    Hi Shareen,
    Handle the data_changed event in the grid.
    Whenever you make changes in the data in ALV Grid this event would be triggered. Here you can perform additional validations that you may need to perform.
        METHODS handle_data_changed
          FOR EVENT data_changed OF cl_gui_alv_grid
          IMPORTING er_data_changed.
    Implementation:
      METHOD handle_data_changed.
        PERFORM validations USING er_data_changed.
      ENDMETHOD.
    FORM validations USING er_data_changed TYPE REF TO cl_alv_changed_data_protocol.
      DATA: ls_good TYPE lvc_s_modi.
      DATA  wa LIKE LINE OF lt_good_cells.
      CALL METHOD g_grid->register_edit_event
        EXPORTING
          i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified.
      LOOP AT er_data_changed->mt_good_cells INTO ls_good.
        CASE ls_good-fieldname.
        WHEN 'FIELDNAME'. "Your fieldname
            CALL METHOD er_data_changed->get_cell_value "Get the changed value
              EXPORTING
                i_row_id    = ls_good-row_id
                i_fieldname = ls_good-fieldname
              IMPORTING
                e_value     = temp. "Your temp variable
            "Make your validations here.
        ENDCASE.
    Ps: Reward points if helpful.

  • Get data in editable ALV back to internal table without data_changed ev?

    Hi,
       I have an editable ALV using classes to whch I have users the option to edit directly on the screen or upload data from an excel. The event data_changed gets triggered when users edit the table on the screen.
    However when EXCEL is uploaded, I refresh the table display. So, I need a way to get the data from the ALV into a internal table to check which rows were update using the excel and save them into the db table.
    Prakash

    Hi!
    For more information, inspect programs suiting the mask "BCALVEDIT*" and the thread with header "How to make a row of ALV editable " (I know this is some more steps further from your demand but it may be useful) at URL " How to make a row of ALV editable " .

  • Editable ALV & Foreign Key Check

    I am working on an Editable ALV. Here if I try to enter some value into a field which doesnt exist in the corresponding Check table of the field, ALV throws me an error. This scenario is working fine.
    But in some scenarios I populate the ALV table from a Z table (Z table has the same strucutre as the ALV table) and then show this to the user as an editable ALV but in this scenarios if some erroneous values exist in my Z table for a particular fieId I am not getting the Foreign Key check I mentioned earlier.  Here I was hoping to get error message after SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY !
    I am using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID, has anyone found a workaround for this
    Antony

    Hi Antony,
    you can INHERIT a class from CL_GUI_ALV_GRID and then redefine SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY adding the raising EVENT data_changed for all cells.

  • Editable alv: add custom validation and display "errors" in protocol list

    Hi,
    What I want to do:
    PAI validation of editable alv with displaying error's in the protocol list by adding custom entries to the existing protocol object.
    What is my problem:
    After registering "data_changed event", the protocol list don't appear.
    My understanding is, that the object "er_data_changed" is passed by the event "data_changed"
    an so I thought I can add some more entries to the protocol list.
    After "de-registering" the "data_changed" event, the protocol appears with the standard errros messages (e.g. "input to numeric" by enter charachters)
    One more hint:
    By creating a new object "er_data_changed" in the handler method the protocol list works, but I would like to append entries to the object that was passed with the event.
    Probably I've misunderstand something, please help !
    My coding:
    PAI:
    trigger event "data_changed" -> calls handler method
      CALL METHOD r_myalv->check_changed_data

    Dear Olaf,
        If understood correctly, you want to Edit an ALV and do some data validations when some data is changed in an ALV.   To do this follow the following steps:
    1.   Before displaying ALV, Register the edit event.
    * Set cell modified to trigger data_changed
    CALL METHOD go_alv_grid->register_edit_event
    EXPORTING
    i_event_id = cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified.
    2.  Register the event DATA_CHANGED of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID & handle the event.
    SET HANDLER lo_event_receiver->handle_data_changed FOR go_alv_grid.
    The event DATA_CHANGED of class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID has a parameter ER_DATA_CHANGED which is of type CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL.
    This er_data_changed has internal table MT_MOD_CELLS(contains index of records changed ) & MP_MOD_ROWS(contains the changed row), using these update your internal table accordingly.
    DATA : wa_mod_cell TYPE lvc_s_modi.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs> TYPE table.
    LOOP AT er_data_changed->mt_mod_cells INTO wa_mod_cell.
    ASSIGN er_data_changed->mp_mod_rows->* TO <fs>.
    READ TABLE <fs> INTO wa_output INDEX wa_mod_cell-tabix.
    MODIFY lt_output FROM wa_output INDEX wa_mod_cell-row_id.
    ENDLOOP.
    3.   Here it self you can do the required data validations(No need of any PAI modules) as below.
    IF wa_orders-zfstfirmtyp = c_9.
    MESSAGE s288(zcsp).
    DELETE er_data_changed->mt_mod_cells.
    EXIT.
    ENDIF.

  • Editable ALV - how to throw an error message for a specific line & field

    Hi all,
    I've implemented an editable ALV and also the ON_DATA_CHECK event to check the values, entered in the ALV. So this works fine and I can check the values.
    But now, I want to throw an error message corresponding to the field in the ALV, where the error occured.
    How can I throw this error message corresponding to a specific line/field in the ALV?
    I was using REPORT_ATTRIBUTE_ERROR_MESSAGE and REPORT_ELEMENT_ERROR_MESSAGE but without success.
    I'm also using a loop over the "CHANGES" in the ALV and within this loop, I use
    elem_alv = node_alv->get_element( index = <change>-element_index )
    to get the element for the message.
    CALL METHOD lo_message_manager->REPORT_ELEMENT_ERROR_MESSAGE

    2.) is it right, that for an editable ALV, I can't use the WDDOBEFOREACTION to do the checks?
    If I try to use this, I can't get the values of my ALV table to check it.
    Thanks,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,
    I have tried to replicate your problem and I am getting the desired output. I have a row by name TEMP_NEW in my ALV and I want to throw an error message whenever the user enters a value of 4 for that particular field. Please find my coding as below. The important thing is where we perform the actual comparison between the r_value and 4. r_value is defined in SALV_WD_S_TABLE_MOD_CELL as reference to type DATA. So suppose the user enters a value of say 3 in the TEMP_NEW field of the ALV then r_value would contain 3 but if you observe its type in debugging mode it would be as TYPE REF TO I and not TYPE I. So you cannot directly say something like:
    "if ls_modified_cells-r_value = 3" as this would lead to a syntax error. Define a field-symbol say <temp> and then use it to get the actual value into it by saying like:
    ASSIGN ls_modified_cells-r_value->* TO <temp>.
    Then you can use this <temp> for comparison in your IF statement like:
    IF  <temp> = 3.
    Find the entire coding as below:
    METHOD check_data.
      DATA: lr_node TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,
            lr_element TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element,
            ls_modified_cells TYPE salv_wd_s_table_mod_cell.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS <temp> TYPE data.
    " get message manager
      DATA lo_api_controller     TYPE REF TO if_wd_controller.
      DATA lo_message_manager    TYPE REF TO if_wd_message_manager.
      lo_api_controller ?= wd_this->wd_get_api( ).
      CALL METHOD lo_api_controller->get_message_manager
        RECEIVING
          message_manager = lo_message_manager.
      lr_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'NODE' ).
      LOOP AT r_param->t_modified_cells INTO ls_modified_cells.
        lr_element = lr_node->get_element( index = ls_modified_cells-index ).
        IF ls_modified_cells-attribute = 'TEMP_NEW'.
    " Get the value extracted into the field symbol from the reference variable
          ASSIGN ls_modified_cells-r_value->* TO <temp>.
    " Use the value present in this field-symbol for your comparison
          IF  <temp> = 4.
    " report message
            CALL METHOD lo_message_manager->report_attribute_error_message
              EXPORTING
                message_text   = 'Sample message text'
                element        = lr_element
                attribute_name = ls_modified_cells-attribute.
          ENDIF.
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.
    ENDMETHOD.
    Hope this helps resolve your problem.

  • Editable ALV, how to capture changed data

    Hi All,
    I have created an editable ALV. User can make some changes in the displayed record and press "Submit" button (custom button on application toolbar), the program should validate the data and write the file on application server if validations are successful otherwise controls stay on the same screen.
    I am handling this validation and writing file part in PAI of the screen.
    Problem: The program is capturing the data when user changes it for the first, but program is failing to capture the subsequent changes (user makes after the validation fails). Program processes always the first time changed data only. Please help me in getting this problem resolved.
    Step1 : Program shows output.
    Step2: User changes Company Code.
    Step3: User clicks on Submit Button.
    Step3.1: Program reads the new data and performs validation.
    Step3.2: New Company code is not valid, error displayed.
    Step4: User changes the company code again, presses submit button.
    Goto step 3.1 -> Here program does not read the new data, rather first time changes company code is again read and validated, and program shows the same error again, which is not a desired result

    Hi Ashish,
    you need a method HANDLE_DATA_CHANGED as handler for grid event DATA_CHANGED.
    Use
    LOOP AT er_data_changed->mt_mod_cells ASSIGNING <mod>.
    to check all changed data. In this event, add the error messages to ER_DATA_CHANGED object.
    set all required handlers, i.e.
    SET HANDLER:
          handle_data_changed          FOR ro_grid,
          handle_data_changed_finished FOR ro_grid,
          handle_toolbar_set           FOR ro_grid,
          handle_user_command          FOR ro_grid,
          handle_hotspot_click         FOR ro_grid,
          handle_f4                    FOR ro_grid,
          handle_f1                    FOR ro_grid.
       ro_grid->set_toolbar_interactive( ).
    Register ENTER and MODIFIED events.
        ro_grid->register_edit_event( cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_enter ).
        ro_grid->register_edit_event( cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modified ).

  • Editable ALV's

    Can anyone tell me a business scenario when we might need to develop an editable ALV. Am new to ABAP & trying to work out on some possible scenarios. So could anyone please help me out by suggesting/sending me a sample specification for the same? ( [email protected] ) Would be very helpful. And when we try to edit a field in the list how does the system edit the system tables like? I mean does it again make use of any FM's or procedures to ensure system consistency? And if anyone has some good material on advanced concepts of ALV's please send it to my email address. All helpful answers would be awarded SDN points. Thanks...

    Hi
    ABAP List Viewer
    We raely use the editable ALV's in the real projects.
    The common features of report are column alignment, sorting, filtering, subtotals, totals etc. To implement these, a lot of coding and logic is to be put. To avoid that we can use a concept called ABAP List Viewer (ALV).
    This helps us to implement all the features mentioned very effectively.
    Using ALV, We can have three types of reports:
    1. Simple Report
    2. Block Report
    3. Hierarchical Sequential Report
    There are some function modules which will enable to produce the above reports without much effort.
    All the definitions of internal tables, structures and constants are declared in a type-pool called SLIS.
    1. SIMPLE REPORT.
    The important function modules are
    a. Reuse_alv_list_display
    b. Reuse_alv_fieldcatalog_merge
    c. Reuse_alv_events_get
    d. Reuse_alv_commentary_write
    e. Reuse_alv_grid_display
    A. REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY : This is the function module which prints the data.
    The important parameters are :
    I. Export :
    i. I_callback_program : report id
    ii. I_callback_pf_status_set : routine where a user can set his own pf status or change the functionality of the existing pf status
    iii. I_callback_user_command : routine where the function codes are handled
    iv. I_structure name : name of the dictionary table
    v. Is_layout : structure to set the layout of the report
    vi. It_fieldcat : internal table with the list of all fields and their attributes which are to be printed (this table can be populated automatically by the function module REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE
    vii. It_events : internal table with a list of all possible events of ALV and their corresponding form names.
    II. Tables :
    i. t_outtab : internal table with the data to be output
    B. REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE : This function module is used to populate a fieldcatalog which is essential to display the data in ALV. If the output data is from a single dictionary table and all the columns are selected, then we need not exclusively create the field catalog. Its enough to mention the table name as a parameter(I_structure name) in the REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY. But in other cases we need to create it.
    The Important Parameters are :
    I. Export :
    i. I_program_name : report id
    ii. I_internal_tabname : the internal output table
    iii. I_inclname : include or the report name where all the dynamic forms are handled.
    II Changing
    ct_fieldcat : an internal table with the type SLIS_T_FIELDCAT_ALV which is
    declared in the type pool SLIS.
    C. REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET : Returns table of possible events for a list type
    Parameters :
    I. Import :
    Et_Events : The event table is returned with all possible CALLBACK events
    for the specified list type (column 'NAME'). For events to be processed by Callback, their 'FORM' field must be filled. If the field is initialized, the event is ignored. The entry can be read from the event table, the field 'FORM' filled and the entry modified using constants from the type pool SALV.
    II. Export :
    I_List_type :
    0 = simple list REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY
    1 = hierarchcal-sequential list REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY
    2 = simple block list REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND
    3 = hierarchical-sequential block list
    REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_HS_APPEND
    D. REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE : This is used in the Top-of-page event to print the headings and other comments for the list.
    Parameters :
    I. it_list_commentary : internal table with the headings of the type slis_t_listheader.
    This internal table has three fields :
    Typ : ‘H’ – header, ‘S’ – selection , ‘A’ - action
    Key : only when typ is ‘S’.
    Info : the text to be printed
    E. REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY : A new function in 4.6 version, to display the results in grid rather than as a preview.
    Parameters : same as reuse_alv_list_display
    This is an example for simple list.
    2. BLOCK REPORT
    This is used to have multiple lists continuously.
    The important functions used in this report are:
    A. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_INIT
    B. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND
    C. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_HS_APPEND
    D. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY
    A. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_INIT
    Parameters:
    I. I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM
    II. I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET
    III. I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND
    This function module is used to set the default gui status etc.
    B. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND
    Parameters :
    Export :
    I. is_layout : layout settings for block
    II. it_fieldcat : field catalog
    III. i_tabname : internal table name with output data
    IV. it_events : internal table with all possible events
    Tables :
    i. t_outtab : internal table with output data.
    This function module adds the data to the block.
    Repeat this function for all the different blocks to be displayed one after the other.
    C. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_HS_APPEND
    This function module is used for hierarchical sequential blocks.
    D. REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY
    Parameters : All the parameters are optional.
    This function module display the list with data appended by the above function.
    Here the functions REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE, REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET, REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE can be used.
    3. Hierarchical reports :
    Hierarchical sequential list output.
    The function module is
    A. REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY
    Parameters:
    I. Export:
    i. I_CALLBACK_PROGRAM
    ii. I_CALLBACK_PF_STATUS_SET
    iii. I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND
    iv. IS_LAYOUT
    v. IT_FIELDCAT
    vi. IT_EVENTS
    vii. i_tabname_header : Name of the internal table in the program containing the
    output data of the highest hierarchy level.
    viii. i_tabname_item : Name of the internal table in the program containing the
    output data of the lowest hierarchy level.
    ix. is_keyinfo : This structure contains the header and item table field
    names which link the two tables (shared key).
    II. Tables
    i. t_outtab_header : Header table with data to be output
    ii. t_outtab_item : Name of the internal table in the program containing the
    output data of the lowest hierarchy level.
    slis_t_fieldcat_alv : This internal table contains the field attributes. This internal table can be populated automatically by using ‘REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE’.
    Important Attributes :
    A. col_pos : position of the column
    B. fieldname : internal fieldname
    C. tabname : internal table name
    D. ref_fieldname : fieldname (dictionary)
    E. ref_tabname : table (dictionary)
    F. key(1) : column with key-color
    G. icon(1) : icon
    H. symbol(1) : symbol
    I. checkbox(1) : checkbox
