Event is not being activated

Dear Expert,
i m working with workflow, data is created for complex solution, task is 90000002 ZMileston "Milestone for Network" a event SAVED is showing there with the Object type AFVC_NETW catogary is "BOR Object type . This is basically used for build Order creation when network is released. i m activating this event but this is not being activated, in the attribute of this event linkage is deactivated. can u assist how it will activate.

If you are activating the event and if it gets deactivated then there is some problem in the Event to workflow binding.
Check the binding button (Green color button) in the basic data screen where you assigned the event to the workflow. The reasons can be,
1. You have not binded any element to a mandatory parameter in workflow container (Mandatory parameters are indicated by a yellow color exclamatory symbol)
2. You have an imprpoer workflow definition (means definition with errors)
Easy way is to switch on the event trace using transaction SWELS and then activate the event linkage and then trigger the event once. Then goto transaction SWEL and check if the event has started the receiver correctly.
If you get "No Receiver Entered" - It means your event type linkage is not active at all and you have to activate it in SWE2. If you get "Linkage deactivated" then you might get a "Feedback after error" which might explain you the reason for deactivation.

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

Had the same problem. I uninstalled icloud, restarted my pc and reinstalled icloud and it's working fine. Hope this helps.

A compatible SIM card would be from AT&T and would not work in India. It sounds as if your iPhone was hacked to unlock it and when you updated it, the hack was removed, thus relocking it to AT&T.

Urgent : Trial version of CS3 not being activated

the trial version of Adobe is not being installed it asks for the activation while i want to use the trial version preseltly.

One should get a dialog screen with two choices:
1.) Trial
2.) Activate with S/N and full activation via Internet/phone
If you are not getting this option, then I'd suspect that there is something wrong with your installation file. Unfortunately, the trial release for CS3 has long expired, so I doubt that Adobe will be of much help. Installation issues are free, but I do not know if they extend to trials, even of the current release - never did an Adobe trial in my life.
Maybe a search of this forum will reveal something from the days when the CS3 trial was current.
BTW, where did you get the file? If from an Adobe download page, maybe try the download again.

Financials Extension (EA-FIN) in not being activated

I am trying to activate financial extension (EA-FIN).
System gives me the message that 'Job SFW_ACTIVATE_SF0X was started in the background'. But the extension does not get activated.
I have gone through the note 588364 but of no use.

Javascript embedded in button pl/sql event handler not being executed

Javascript calls not working from pl/sql button event handler. What am I missing? Are specific settings needed to execute javascript from pl/sql proceedures?
Example: Want to toggle target='_blank' off and on in a button pl/sql event handler to open url call in new window & then reset when processing submit is done & the app returns to the form.
portal form button's pl/sql submit handler:

putting the above javascript as a function (called fcn_newpage) elsewhere (e.g., after form opens) & calling in the submit pl/sql with

also doesn't work.
Metalink thought this was an application issue instead of a bug, so thought I'd see if anyone knows what's going wrong here. (Portal 9.0.4.1)

More generally, what I'm trying to figure out is under what conditions javascript is executed, if ever, in the pl/sql of a button (either the submit or custom event handler, depending on the button).
I've seen lots of posts asking how to do a simple htp.p('alert("THIS IS TROUBLE")') ; in a pl/sql event handler for a button on a form, but no description of how this can be done successfully.
In addition to alerts, in my case, I'd like to call a javascript fcn from a pl/sql event handle that would pass a URL (e.g., http://www.oracle.com) where the javascript fcn executed
window.open(URL). The API call to set_target(URL) in pl/sql has no ability to open in a new window, so calling that is inadequate to my needs and I must resort to javascript.
Its clear in the PL/SQL of a button, you can effect form components since p_session..set_target & p_session.get_target set or get the contents of form components.
So to see if javascript ever works, I tried to focus on something simple that only had to set what amounts to an enviromental variable when we returned to the form after a post. I chose to try to change the html value of TARGET from javascript in the PL/SQL button because it doesn't need to be implemented until we finish the post and return to the form.
So I focused on a hack, setting this.form.TARGET='_blank' in the on_click event handler that forced every subsequent URL call or refresh of the form to be a new window. I then wanted to turn off opening new windows once I'd opened the URL call in a new window by setting TARGET='' in the portal form. I can achieve what I want by coding this.form.TARGET='' in the javascript (on_focus, on_change, or on_mousedown, ...) of every form component that might refresh the form. However, that is a ridiculous hack when a simple htp.p('<script>') ; htp.p('this.form.target=""') ; htp.p('</script>') ; at the end of the button's pl/sql event handle should do the same thing reliably if javascript ever works in the pl/sql event handler.
If we didn't have access to form components through p_session calls, I'd assume it was a scope issue (what is available from the pl/sql event handler). But unless my syntax is just off, when, if ever, can javascript be used in a portal form's pl/sql event handler for a button?
if I code a javascript funtion in the forms' pl/sql before displaying form:

htp.p('window.open(URL)' ) ;
htp.p('</script>') ;
the function can be called from a button's on_click javascript event handler:
fcn_new_window('http://www.oracle.com')
but from the same button's pl/sql submit event handler this call doesn't work: htp.p('fcn_new_window("http://www.oracle.com")')
So my questions remain: Is there other syntax I need, or does javascript ever work properly from the pl/sql of a form button's event handler? If it doesn't work, isn't this a bug that should be fixed by Oracle?
I can probably figure out hacks to make things work the way I need, but executing javascript from pl/sql event handlers seems to be the expected way to affect portal html pages (forms, reports, ...) and it seems not to work as expected. I don't feel I should have to implement hacks for something as simple as calling a javascript function from pl/sql when almost every example I've found in metalink or the forums or Oracle Press's "portal bible" suggests using javascript from pl/sql via the utility htp.p() to effect web page components in portal.
My TAR on the subject, while still open, returned the result basically: "We can reproduce your situation. Everything looks okay to us, but we can't explain how to use javascript where you want or point you to any documentation that would solve your problem or expain why it should not work the way you want it to. We don't feel its a technical issue. Why don't you post the problem on the portal applications forum."
I'm hoping I'm just missing something fundamental and everything will work if I implement it a little differently. So if anyone sees my error, please let me know.
by the way, not sure this is germain, but in reference to your comment:

if I try to raise an alert:
htp.p('alert("you screwed up")');
return;
in a pl/sql event handler, it still doesn't raise the alert, even though its the last thing implemented in the event handler. But if I set the value of a text box using p_session..set_value_as_string() at the same spot, it correctly sets the text box value when I return to the form.

Events are not being handled

My events appear in the EventHub, but they are not handled by any of my stream analytics 4 jobs.
No errors in the operation logs.
Monitor (of all 4 jobs) displays 0 (zero) input events.

Looking at the traces for the listjob I see the following error: Tables without a clustered index are not supported in this version of SQL Server. Please create a clustered index and try again.
Can you please add a clustered index to your output SQL table and see if it resolved the issue?
Can you please also look at the logs and see if this error appears there.

DataSource Not being activated

I replicated WBS Element hierarchy datasource but it still shows up as modified. Also on transfer rule, When I click change the activation icon is gray. I can not activate transfer rules either. they are in saved status. How can I activate transfer rules.

I am triggering a job via infopackage and noticed that in R/3 the job is in Release status, how do i make this Active?

Select the released job and from the job menu, select released -> Scheduled.
Now select the scheduled job and go to job->change. Here, change the start condition to immediate and save. If any work processor is available, it becomes active. Otherwise, it starts to wait for one.

Why isn't firefox6.0version upgrade not being activated?

I have downloaded 6.0 version several times and I stillonly have the 4.0Icon on my pc. I want the 6.0 version of firefox. Also I really like the cooliris add-on. It is the only reason to have firefox. Cooliris is not the home page. I use to have it on the homepage and it was great. why did it just disappear?

I'm having the same problem. I'm using a new shuffle usb cable in my 2nd generation shuffle and nothing shows up on computer. I'm wondering if the dock for the second gen is different than the new usb cable direct into the 2nd gen shuffle. I don't have a dock for it. Before I buy one on ebay I hope someone can assist.
