Event Library Title with yellow warning sign?

I just noticed that in my Event Library, I have and event with the yellow triangle ! sign (bottom right)
In the associated Project files, there are 3 projects with grayed out warning signs and what looks like sound icons.
I can't figure out what they might be referring to. The files play. Curious. Does anyone know

The grayed out icon you see in the project files indicates that you have shared the project. If you click on it and go to the inspector it will give you the specifics of the share. The yellow triangle probably means FCPX belirves there is a problem with the audio on some clips. Did you have FCPX analyze your audio on import? I as a rule do not and have not seen this icon in the brouser. I do have some clips when put into the timeline show that same icon in the inspector. I suggest you select one of the clips that display this alert icon and go to the inspector audio tab. I expect you will see what FCPX thinks is the problem.
Hope this at least gets you started on finding out what's going on.

  • Yellow warning signs with ! in it

I am working in imovie-- do not know what I did-- but in my project libary one of my movies have the yellow warning sign with ! in it--- when I try to watch the movie all that comes is --sourse clip is missing, sign. Please help me as I want to keep the movie

One possibility for the yellow warning sign in the Project Library is that you have deleted the event or the clip that the library used for the video. When you import video, the raw footage goes into the event library. Then you use those events to create a project. If you do that and then go ahead and delete the clip from the event library, you will get the warning sign you mentioned. You won't be able to make any more changes to your project. I'm not even sure if the project will continue to work properly.

  • How to use iMovie 08 with Drobo FS?  Drobo shows up in the Events Library but with the yellow triangle.

I have an iMac and a Drobo FS.  The iMac can access the Drobo FS but iMovie does not allow me to select it as a storage location.  The Drobo shows up in the Events Library but with the yellow triangle.  I am running iMovie 08.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

As far as I know you cannot use a Drobo FS with iMovie.
For iMovie events the storage drive needs to be formatted as "Mac OSX Extended - Journaled" this is the HFS+ file system.
The Drobo FS uses the EXT3 file system, and it cannot be changed.
Very annoyingly this means that iMovie can only be used with a drive that is using the HFS+ file system.
I have a Drobo FS that I use with both PC's and Macs - and I love it. Sadly I cannot use iMovie with it. So I purchased a seperate Hard Drive - A G-Tech 3 Tb - and this works fine with iMovie.
As far as I know the FS Drobo's are the only ones that cannot be formatted to HFS+.
I don't know why Apple designed iMovie like this, but I find it very frustrating.
If you want extra storage for iMovie, you will need to purchase a drive that can be HFS+ formatted.
Here is a link to the Drobo site with the various file systems that they support:

    Good luck.

  • Yellow warning signs on iMovie clips?!

Hi! I have some home movies on iMovie with yellow triangular signs with a ! in the middle, all my clips have them. In school I made a commerial and I also have an extra clip with bloopers, those two will play (audio and all) with the yellow signs but the rest don't. Is there anything I can do to fix this? There's one movie I would really love to have back! I have no idea if I have somehow deleted something since I haven't watched them in a long time!

This usually happens if you have moved or renamed an Event folder or an Event clip from where it was when you created the Project. If you can move things back where they were, it should work again.
If you shared a copy to iTunes or to the Media Browser, it may still play, because there would be a copy of the finished movie inside the project package. To see if this is the case, you can right-click on the Project in the Finder. Choose "Show Package Contents" and look in the Movies folder. Be careful not to change anything inside the Project folder or you can maybe corrupt the project.

  • What determines whether an application gets a green check or a yellow warning sign in the deployment summary screen when using an MDT/UDI task sequence?

I am trying to get Office 2010 to install using a UDI task sequence, and it IS installing, but it has a yellow exclamation point next to it at the summary screen after the task sequence completes, as does another app I am trying to install.
The apps that use an .MSI are fine, and get the green check, but the two apps that use .exe for their installers get the yellow warning sign.  I assume this has to do with exit codes or detection rules, but I am very new to SCCM (using 2012 and MDT
2012 Update 1), so I need some help.
    Thank you!
EDIT: This probably has to do with the fact that SuccessOrFailureCode being blank.  I have been pouring over .vbs scripts and logs, but they all seem to indicate that my application installs just fine, with an exit code of 0. Where does this screen
    get the SuccessOrFailureCode?

I have some updated info on this problem.
I am trying to install Symantec Endpoint Protection with a custom wrapped .EXE file, and I have created detection rules for the install.
According to AppEnforce.log, SEP is installing and returning an Exit code of '1', and that is being handled with my custom return code handling, which I've defined as a 'success'.  However, the deployment summary is still showing a yellow exclamation point
next to the SEP install, and the SuccessOrFailureCode is blank.
Why isn't the SuccessOrFailureCode equal to '1'?  Where is the disconnect between the AppEnforce.log and the deployment summary.

  • Why is the music clip marked with a yellow warning sign?

While browsing my project library today, I noticed that every music clip associated with a particular project is marked with a yellow "warning" triangle (with an exclamation point in the center). What's worse, the music won't play.
I had previously uploaded this video to YouTube, where it now plays just fine. But I'm still puzzled by the warning sign, and by the fact that the music won't play when I take a look at it in my Project Library.
I've never had a warning sign like this emerge in connection with anything else I've put together with iMovie. Why is it there, and why are the music clips inoperative? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi !
I have a question. I had that little warning sign as well but in the clip I had just imported into the event library... I don't understand because when I went to the folder in which iMovie copies the clips I import, it was right there. Same name, same size, same runtime... and it played perfectly; and I could preview the clip in iMovie. But the thumbnail was gray with that little sign. Also, I couldn't delete the clip from my library.
I closed iMovie, started it again... the clip is in the library, no more gray thumbnail and little yellow sign.
    How is that possible ?!

  • Yellow box flashes and vanishes, and cannot use certain flash pages.  at least 5-6 times a day a small yellow box appears with a warning sign but it vanishes less than a second later so I can't read it.  I also cannot use certain pages that require Flash.

For about 2 months I have been having problems with pages that require Flash when using Safari,  I also have a strange small yellow warning box that flashes on my screen, but I cannot read it before it vanishes.  I think I may have a virus, what should I do?

I can see that this issue has been quite extensive, and frustrating, and I am so sorry for all that has happened societygirl! I would like to help you work this issue out. • Swf won't load on device - Flash icon with yellow warning triangle and number 9

I have an internet tablet - the Archos 5. I'm trying to
create a swf file that runs on the device. I made a small "hello
world" application in Flex 3. When I try to run it on the device I
get a blank white screen with a flash icon in the center. To the
lower right of the flash icon is a yellow "warning" triangle with
the number 9 inside of it.
I loaded the flash version checker on the device and that
runs properly. It claims that the player version is:
    AFL 9,1,115,0
    Debug player: No
    OS: Linux
    Video capable: Yes
    Audio capable: Yes
    Local File i/o enabled: No
Any hints as to what settings I need to switch in Flex 3 so I
can create applications for this device? The only thing I see that
looked promising is the "Require Flash Player version" setting, but
that's set to 9.0.124 - lower than the 9.1.115 version on the
    device.
    Thanks for any help

Flex does not run on all devices yet. Maybe it does not run
    on this one yet.

  • Do I need to have my site uploaded to a remote host for embeded formscentral form  to work? I am getting a broken section of header with a warning sign on top corner saying "!Local host." Cheers

    Hey there all.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with my embedded form or if it is simply because
I have not uploaded my site to remote host yet? I am only getting a broken part of the header with
no actual form, with a warning "!local host" in top left hand corner. If anyone could enlighten
me on this problem it would be greatly appreciated, it is my first time making forms

Cheers, I noticed some browsers were treating the form differently. I am uploading to a test server tomorrow, hopefully all goes well, thanks for your reply

    Hi robsterc,
Now, is it just me or does EVERY SINGLE update to OS X cause a problem with Sarafi - I can remember Safari having issues with at least the last 3 updates.
Usually this happens when you have 3rd party extensions installed that are not compatible with the latest versions of Safari.
Can you post the crash report text here and hopefully that will give us a clue where the root of the problem is. You can obtain the crash report text by clicking the (Report...) button in the Unexpectedly Quit window and then copying and pasting the text here.

  • HT204402 Renaming an event in iMovie and yellow warning triangles

Im new to the world of apple and iMovie and have made the mistake of completing a project and then renaming my events to tidy things up. I've since been told that this was a stupid thing to do and my project cannot locate the footage from the event (even though the footage still exists in the newly renamed event folder).
How can I relinking the footage back so that the project recognises it again? Or will I have to create it all over again? The project was two hours long so I really want to try a d avoid redoing it.

I've just found a solution to this problem, a big thanks to David Burwell:
    Close iMovie
Back up iMovie files just in case we blow something up!!!
Download "Plist Edit Pro" from Apple (see below)
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/development_tools/plisteditpro.html
Go to the folder where your iMovie Project is stored, mine was at...
    User/Movies/iMovie Projects
Right mouse click on the Video Project (mine was called Rachel Video)
Select "Show Package Contents" from the drop down menu
You'll see a number of Folders and Files
Right mouse click on the file called "Project"
Select "Open With" and browse to the "Plist Edit Pro" file you just downloaded (if you don't already have it)
    Expand the $objects list
I scrolled down until i found the missing music file (Ship.mp3 - it will list the entire path)
If you know the file name you can Edit/Find it instead
Change the location pointer of the file (new path and file name)
Select File/Save from the Plist Edit Pro menu
    Quit Plist Edit Pro
    Open the project in iMovie

  • My ipod nano 3rd Generation has just stopped working with no warning signs!

It has a black blank screen and is unresponsive to charging when plugged into a USB port and a standard USB mains powered charger that came with my iphone.
I have tried pressing the menu and centre button and nothing happens.
    Please help if possible.
    Thank you.

How long have you left it to charge? That is a pretty good chance that the battery may just be shot and in need of replacement.
