Event structure mouse up event outside icon bounds

I've just noticed that the 'mouse up' event only works if the mouse cursor remains hovering over the control panel icon associated with it.
It's a problem for me because I have a slider bar which passes values (via an event queue, then RS232 to hardware) when the slider value changes. But that can generate lots of queued up serial writes if I slide quickly back and forth with the slider, so I use a mouse up event to flush the queue. It appears to work, but if I click and drag, sliding the cursor outside the slider bar area, it fails to recognise the mouse up event.

Is it the default behaviour that the Mouse Up event only works while the mouse is above the control itself. If you want to have a slightly larger area, you can use the Mouse Up event of the Pane, and then check the co-ordinates of the mouse cursor before doing your processing.

what I figure out from your question is that, you want to get the coordinates even if the mouse is not directly interacting with any of the java components of your application.
I would consider this as an interaction with the OS so that it sends a call to your java program as well when ever the mouse event occurs. If you use JNI to catch system events, I think it should work.

you can add mouse listener to frame itself or if you are using jpanel to add your components than you can add mouse listener to jpanel too

Hey, I spent a lot of my day trying to figure out how to
listen for an event outside of an instantiated object of my own.
I made my own class called
Link. When my Link class is instantiated, a Loader object
(var loader:Loader) is added and it loads a user-specified external
PNG file. I want to track the Event.COMPLETE event OUTSIDE of my
Link class, like in my FLA's Actionscript.
So, I tried a few things without any luck, and by these you
might get the idea of exactly what I'm trying to do:
var link1:Link = new Link(...);
link1.loader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, handler);
That didn't work, so I tried:
var link1.Link = new Link(...);
var loader = link1.getChildByName("loader") as Loader;
loader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, handler);
... that didn't work either. :(
Any ideas?
If I am taking the completely wrong approach please do let me
know. If there's ANY way to know WHEN my loader has completed
loading its image outside of my Link class...

Let your Link class handle the Loader events. When
Event.COMPLETE fires,
just redispatch the event or dispatch a custom event.
Example 1:

Claims authentication: "Server was unable to process request. --- Index was outside the bounds of the array"

Hi there,
I recently got a peculiar error when users tried to log-in into a SP 2010 portal using claims based authentication.
The following error is logged in the event viewer of the SP server in question:
Event ID 8306 - Claims authentication
An exception occurred when trying to issue security token: Server was unable to process request. ---> Index was outside the bounds of the array.
I also found an IIS warning entry with a similar message:
Event ID 1309 - Web Event
Exception type: FaultException
Exception message: Server was unable to process request. ---> Index was outside the bounds of the array.
I simply could not find an answer to why this happened, but an iisreset seemed to have fixed the issue. I was wondering if anyone here would know a possible root cause for this issue?

Reading mouse and keyboard outside program

Hi!
Is it possible to do what title says? I would like to make program that record everything that user do with mouse and keyboard and then "play" same actions again.
Playing is easy using Robot class. Also reading (polling) mouse location on screen is possible with PointerInfo class.
But is it really so that I can't read mouse clicks or keypresses any way when mouse or keyboard focus is outside the Java program frame? At least I didn't find any kind of class that I could use for this.

No spyware, I was thinking more like cheating in one game ;-)
But well, that's a bit odd. There is already PointerInfo telling mouse coordinates, why not somekind of ButtonInfo telling state of mouse buttons...
I have additional question, related to this same thing:
If I want to make Java program that run on background (i.e. no frame or window visible) and I want to have it so that when you press for example ctrl+shift+L, that Java program gui appears to screen.
But if it's not possible to read keyboard events outside program frame, this isn't possible either? Or is there some workaround to this?
There seems to be possibility of using SystemTray coming in Java version 6, that nice! But still, I would like to know is there any way to "wake up" Java program that doesn't currently have any kind of gui visible on screen.

When i open firefox from my desktop, it won't open as a full page,only a tiny page when i mouse over the firefox icon on my taskbar

if I open firefox, it doesn't go to my home page, instead my desktop stays up. if I mouse over the firefox icon on the taskbar a tiny homepage pops up but you can't make it bigger.

Unfortunately not. Lion has made many adjustments to the previous system. Try opening your pdfs in keynote.

If there is other table, you need to initialize them with new operator. Null tables does not accepted.

How can I restore full webpages being shown when I run my mouse over the Mozilla icon on the toolbar?la

Prior to today, when I ran my mouse over the Firefox icon on the tool bar I would get an image of whatever web page I had opened. Now, all I get is text. For example, if I had the BBC open, I could see the open web page by touching the Firefox icon with my mouse. Now all I get is test saying "BBC Player..." Whass up?

Adobe Reader XI downloaded to my wife's laptop tonight. Windows 8.1. Open PDF, select Comments > comment dialog, then place icon on PDF and start editing. Small edits work fine. Large amounts of comment text, once you move off the icon and come back and hover over the comment icon, causes the full size comment window to flicker rapidly (5-10ms between on and off) until you move the mouse away from the icon. Unreadable. Tried on my identical model laptop and happens there too. What's going on?

I am getting "Index was outside the bounds of the array." error when Release Management 2013 is in Deploy step .
Status: Rejected
Command Output show "3589 File(s) copied" at the end of file
The build of solution was Build succeeded completed.
i try run release again and it no show log file

Script component Fail: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array

In SSIS package “script component” is failing due to the following exception. This exception is occurring sometimes only.  This
script component contain Try/Catch, still it’s failing. What could be the reasons for this exception?

Thanks for your reply. Please consider the following points too.
1. In this code I don't use any array or list
2. This exception is not happening always, when running the package again some time success some time failing.
3. More than 100 Million records flow through this script component.
4. I applied Try/Catch for whole script component. In this case script component should ignore the recode and should continue but it is not.
5. Same package running successfully in QA Environment with same data. This exception sometime only occurring in Production environment only.
6. Similar error message appearing three time. Can it be a time out error?
