Events: Buyer Workbench, please help!!

Hi! We have installed the OW 2.6.2 standalone version. We're trying to create an application that makes users able to use a form like that of the "Events: Buyer Workbench" example.
I know that it's an example for "Event System", but is it possible to create a form like that one, and treat all form's fields as, for example, fields of a form created with "Form Builder" (with the possibility to set fields, control user's inputs etc.)??
Can a form of O.W. have the same features of a form created with Form Builder???
Or is it necessary to use Form Builder and, in all cases ,integrate it with Oracle Workflow?
And is it possible to add an own project in the workflow demonstrations web page???
Which is the best way? Thank you in advance!!!

Oracle Workflow itself does not have forms. The Buyer Workbench is just a sample page representing a custom application that launches a workflow process. The important thing is to have your application call the appropriate Workflow APIs to either create and start a process, or raise a business event. So for example you could launch a process when a user clicks a button in a form, and so on. This all depends on how you design your application.
It is certainly technically possible to modify the Workflow Demonstrations page if you so choose, but please note that this would be an unsupported customization.

In iTunes, go to the Store in the left menu, select iTunes Store, wehn it opens, make sure you are on the home screen (icon of a house in the menu bar) and from the righthand side, select Account.
Next you will see all of your account information. Just a little don, you will find: Apple ID overview, there it says, Authorised computers; click on the button to deauthorise.
And you should be done.

ALARM DOESNT WORK WHEN EVENT POPS UP - Please Help!!!

Ok.... Sometimes, I wake up in the morning and my alarm has not gone off. This only happens when there is an event showing from my calender, a missed call, or a text message that I received while I was sleeping. I then check/cancel the event and then my alarm shows up in snooze mode.
I am not a heavy sleeper. I can wake up to the single 'bling' sound when I receive an email. So it not like I am sleeping through the alarm.
The problem appears to be inconsistent. I have not identified what is exactly causing this to happen although I have read through a few threads with other people having similar issues, but there is no solution.
I have set an event to go off with a 5 minute warning message and set my alarm to go off one minute after that and it worked fine... So I am stuck, why is my alarm not working sometimes?
Please help.

I kinda had something like this too, My alarm didnt go off once or twice, And a few times in a row my alarm would go off twice, Once @ 9:00 AM and once 9 minutes later @ 9:09 AM. Very strange, although I do not have any advice to help you since mine hasnt happened in a while. Sorry, Good luck.

Only recurring events sycing up - please help

My contacts sync between PC and Iphone just fine but the calenders are nt sysncing. The recurring events sync (green dots) but all new events/taks (purple dots) are not syncing. Please help : )

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
The different colour dots indicate different calendars rather than different types of events.
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Real Simple Events Problem. Please Help.

I'm a student learning java at the moment and having a problem getting events sorted. I am trying to reference a evetn between two classes defined within the same main class.

P.s. the program has two frames, press a button in one and it changes the color in the other.

When you build aButton, add the action handler you show in your ColorPanel class:
JButton aButton = new JButton(...);
aButton.addActionListener( yourListener );Then in the actionPerformed method do the color change, like you show. You only need one action handler - the one that listens for mouse clicks and sets the color.
You shouldn't add listeners in an actionPerformed method. If you add them every time you'll get another call to the actionPerformed for every additional handler added and your program will die a slow death.

Empty Events, Everything! PLEASE HELP!

I recently tried opening my iPhoto to find that all of my events and albums are empty! They are all still there, and organised, and named in the same way as when I was last looking at them, but when I open an event, the only photo in there is the key photo. When looking at event view, each event has a black and white picture of a palm tree, and that's it! I checked in Finder, and my iPhoto library is still there, still intact, and still the same size as it was, so what's happened?
It keeps coming up with a message saying that picture migration from MobileMe was unsuccessful, but I haven't stored any of my photos on MobileMe at all!
Could somebody please tell me how to get all my photos back together?

You could look at ContentBarrier which is part of Intego's Internet Security Barrier: it provides selectable preset filters but you can also configure filters with any parameters you like, choose trusted sites which will be allowed no matter what the content, and schedule allowed access. However it's not particularly cheap at £71.70 for the bundle with Virus Barrier and Personal Backup (it's not available separately) plus an annual subscription to keep the filters up to date.

Time zone event shifting problem - please help

I have a question: i have done my calendar in ical. I travel with my computer constantly and would like to change time zones accordingly, so my emails and emails i receive are displayed with correct time, etc.. I did my calendar when I was in the US (EST), now that I am in Europe and I change the time zone in the preferences, all my events shift 6 hours. If i enable time zone support in ical preferences, it seems to give me an option to assign each event a different time zone. don't want or need this. Can i avoid ical shifting my (correct) times for events alltogether??

I am writing a paint program and Im having problems with loosing focus to the buttons... I've used the setFocusable(false) function to deal with it, and it works fine. However, I need to make it available for 1.3

You may want to consider restoring your phone at this point to see if that corrects things. You mentioned that you don't want to lose your music, however, your music should be in your iTunes library as that is how it was synced to your phone originally. As such, after restoring you would simply sync your phone again to transfer your music and other iTunes media (movies, apps, etc.) back to your phone. Any purchases (apps or music) can always be re-downloaded for free (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519). Prior to restoring your phone, be sure to back up your contacts (by syncing them with iCloud or Google, or with a supported program such as Outlook, or by using an app such as My Contacts Backup. Also import your photos to your computer. Failure to do so risks losing your contacts and/or your photos.
To restore your phone, follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414, being sure to back up at step 6. This will replace the iOS on your phone, after which your phone will restart and you will go through the setup screens again as you did when it was new. During this process you will be given the option to restore from an iTunes backup; choose this to restore from the backup you created at step 6. Finish by syncing your phone with iTunes. If this does not solve your problem you will have to restore your phone as new as the source of the problem is contained in the backup. Save as much of your data as you can prior to doing this.

All my son's appointments were in my calendar. Stupid me did not have my phone backed up to icloud. My email quit working so I deleted it off my phone and re-added it. I don't know why my email would affect my calendar.

Hi, onUnload event is not firing in Safari browser. I tried with different ways to capture that event but i failed to capture that event. So please help me on this, give suggestions to capture that event. Or any other event is firing when window is closing. Actually, i need to execute when window is closing. But in Safari the window is closing without firing of any events.

Safari doesn't execute the unLoad action when closing windows, period!
It only executes it when loading another page.
I might be wrong but I think Safari doesn't allow you to close a window with Javascript at all. All close events are blocked.
Maybe a SWF file can do it somehow. But I'm not sure...

With iOS 6, the all day events showed up in the notification centre but it lacks in the upgrade iOS 7.

Same problem here. Some people pointed out that all-day events do show up in their notification center, but that seems only to be the case for birthdays (and only as text like the weather). I've tried it myself on my iPhone and iPad and it did work for birthdays but not for any other all-day events. I already sent this to Apple as a product feedback as well, as should everyone of you. The more people mention it, the faster Apple's going to fix this issue. In its current state, notification center is not a very helpful feature in my opinion. There's absolutely no point in not showing all-day events in the 'today' calendar overview.

Since I could not find a list of the Event Ids that was accurate at all or not too general as to be useless and Microsoft won't let us know how to fix these ourselves without having a programming degree, I am begging for help from anyone who can help

Please provide a copy of your System Information file. Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key
(alternative is Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information). Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed.
You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload to your Sky Drive, share with everyone and post a link here. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode.

To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window select Windows

Some Event Viewer reports are generated solely because the computer is in safe mode or safe mode with networking. You have at least one example of this in your long list. If you do not see the same report for a time when

Command or Canvas Events for Recording ?? Please Help..

My project topic is "Bluetooth Walkie Talkie " , And I am trying my best and putting

I thought let me complete the recording The audio and playing part first,
The recording and playing of audio is working fine , But i would like to do it a real manner as Real Walkie talkie does, I want to record audio ONLY when the Key is being
pressed , and when its released it should exit the player hence saving the recorded file,
(Actually i dont want to save it in future,i would be sending the bytearray though the bluetooth , but for now , I want the Current module to be ready)
I tried my best searching online to implement my requirement but the couldnot find
such events I found Canva's KEYPRESS, KEYRELEASE , etc events but they dint not
serve my purpose, Let me clearly tell where I am stuck , After the midlet starts(by launching it) then i would like to press a key( keypressed say No 5) for certain
amount of time and the audio should be recorded only for the keypressed duration ,
after I release , it should stop recording and save as a wav file .
Whats happening is When i keep the key pressed , The midlet asks whether to allow
the recording , for this purpose when I release key the control is going out, and
i am not able to achieve the needed , I am posting the code here, Please Help me.

}I am really sorry at the end I messed with the code and its altered a Lot, But hope the
logic Will is clear which is my requirement . I know the code for recording and
playing is not complete as said, i Messed around a working code and tried adding Canavs
for keyrepeat method,tried putting a thread around , AT last totally messed,
I tried working on this for two days but couldn't be successfull , Please Help me!!

Midlet asking whether to allow the recording are typical permissions prompts specified by MIDP security policy. You need to sign the MIDlet and give it proper permissions.
Problems like this were discussed in an older thread at WTK forum: *[MIDlet keeps asking for permission.|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5347313]* According to one of the posters in the thread, +"...I got it to work on the emulator by setting the permission to 'manufacturer'. It runs smoothly without annoying questions..."+

For events to record audio only when the key is being pressed, consider GameCanvas API, method getKeyStates.
I am not certain though if doing it this way is a good idea. I doubt that phone users have same habits as those of walkie-talkies; for them it might be indeed more comfortable to use single simple key presses to start and finish recording.

To see the other pics I have to use the scroll bar on the right hand side of the window. Please help!

Depeding on your version of iPhoto: On the left (iPhoto 11) or right (earlier versions) of the lower frame of the iPhoto Window you'll see a slider. Drag it left.

On old macbook photos would just go into iPhoto my hitting iPhoto button. On the Mac Pro when I hit iPhoto button they "swish" into some document file on dock and I can't get them into my photos and events. Can anyone please help. Gabrielle

I am having major trouble trying to get photos into IPhoto. On my old macbook, I just had to hit the IPhoto button - I have hundreds of photos and events but now I have this MacPro when I hit the Iphoto button the photos just "disappear" into a document file on the dock and the photos are all contained in some kind of arcs....I'm not computer literate and spent 2 years in one on one just learning IPhoto Could some one out there please help me.?

What version of iPhoto are you using? Where are the photos coming from that go into the document on the Dock? What iPhoto button are you referring to?
