Events in the activities of screen flow

Hi
Please help the following:
I set not to generate events in the activities of screen flow (screen flow properties), but generates events, there is additional configuration?

Hi
In the project, I indicated in advanced properties of each process that generates events in interactive activities and in the advanced properties of each screen flow, that does not generate events, but in Studio is generating events in the screen flow.
Please provide support, whether a procedure or additional configuration.

  • Event 123 - The DSM service was delayed by nn seconds for a driver query/download/install on device then screen freezes

    The reader's digest version of the saga is I received a Dell Vostro 460 with a wiped disk. The PC emitted beep code indicating PSU or RAM issue when turned on.  After resolving the marginal power supply with a new replacement, I installed Windows 7
    but as soon as I would launch IE the system would freeze.  All of the BIOS & device drivers are current.  I tried upgrading to Windows 8 but kept getting the black screen right after the install process finished installing the devices. I had
    to resort to a clean install.  Having successfully install Windows 8.1 I have been able to a get to the desktop, however every time I launched IE my system freezes in the same way as with Windows 7.  I installed a different browser and used that
    to research the event log errors.  As the system freezes, I see warning log entries with event id 123 entries:
    Event 123 - The DSM service was delayed by 125 seconds for a driver query/download/install on device  'ACPI\GENUINEINTEL_-_INTEL64_FAMILY_6_MODEL_42_-_________INTEL(R)_CORE(TM)_I7-2600_CPU_@_3.40GHZ\_8'

    There are more but these warnings are stacked in groups of two or three then the error & critical entries indicating I did a hard reboot.
    When I use Firefox browser to open several tabs everything is fine until I stream audio/video then the same freeze screen happens and i have to reboot. Anything you can offer will be very much appreciated.

    Hi,
    'PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0423 is a graphic card driver from the vendor’s official webpage.
    Besides as you mentioned in the post, it happened when you launch Internet Explorer, there is an accelerated  Graphics item in the Internet Explorer, the settings should be changed, please follow this way:
    Go to the control panel, then select the Internet Option, go to advance, just like the screenshot below:
    select the checkbox if it is empty, anyhow make it different from the previous settings, then restart your computer to see the result.

  • Selection screen flow logic change not taking affect. Please help!

    Hi
       When I am trying to change the selection scren flow logic I get the following message:
    Selection screen: Report generation makes screen changes ineffective.
    Whatever I am changing is not taking affect in runtime.
    Even though I have activated the changed code for the screen
    What shall I do resolve this?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    You should not be changing the screen flow logic of a standard selection screen 1000.  It will always be regenerated.  In order to modify the standard selection screen, you can do this in the AT SELECTION-SCREEN output event and loop at screen and change the attributes.
    Loop at screen.
      if screen-name = 'P_CHECK'.
        screen-input = '0'.
        modify screen.
      endif.
    endloop.

  • Bug? My events on the iPad iCal app aren't shown in the year view if they are more than two years in the future.

    My events on the iPad iCal app aren't shown in the year view if they are more than two years in the future even though I can see them on the month, week and day view. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I've tried it all. I called the apple support and they checked on their iPads. They all did the same and they couldn't help me. They suggested trying this way. I'd like to be able to plan a few years ahead and the year view would make thing so easy!
    Is this a bug?

    Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.
    Then reboot your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • How do you add an application event to the Applications Panel

    How do you add an application event to the Applications Panel.
    My previous post referred to .ashx files, and the problem seems that Firefox, by default, does not recognize a .ashx format being read by Adobe Acrobat.
    Therefore there needs to be a way to add Applications and Events into the Applications Panel under Preferences

    Gotcha... But actually its limited to 9 icons in the L theme as the Profiles icon is always present. From that screen hit the Menu key to display the bigger list of icons. Arange them so the first 9 icons are the ones you want to see on the L theme.

  • How do I enter a event into the calendar

    I just switched from Android to Apple iPhone.  When I try to use the calendar, nothing happens.  The calendar comes up, it shows the correct dates, I can move from list to day to monthly view.  But when I try to enter an event, nothing happens.  I have set up the calendar in the set up screen.  What gives?  Is it defective?

    Entering an event is done by tapping on the "+" on the upper right corner of the screen. If that is not there, it may be because you are using iCloud. That has been an issue at times. Generally toggling iCloud off and on will correct that.

  • Useful Code of the Day:  Splash Screen & Busy Application

    So you are making an Swing application. So what are two common things to do in it?
    1) Display a splash screen.
    2) Block user input when busy.
    Enter AppFrame! It's a JFrame subclass which has a glass pane overlay option to block input (setBusy()). While "busy", it displays the system wait cursor.
    It also supports display of a splash screen. There's a default splash screen if you don't provide a component to be the splash screen, and an initializer runner which takes a Runnable object. The Runnable object can then modify the splash screen component, for example to update a progress bar or text. See the main method for example usage.
    It also has a method to center a component on another component (useful for dialogs) or center the component on the screen.
    NOTE on setBusy: I do recall issues with the setBusy option to block input. I recall it having a problem on some Unix systems, but I can't remember the details offhand (sorry).

  • What events change the Created field in, finder, get info

    On my laptop, in finder, in the get info screen there are 2 fields the Created Date and Modified Date fields.
    I was looking at these fields for an app that I use on my iPhone, it was listed in finder, so I clicked the get info option.
    The created date and modified date were 10/16 both the same.
    I have not used this app in a long time, my question is this.
    What event changes the created field?  If the app was downloaded on the Iphone will the created field get updated in finder?
    or if it was an update on itunes, would that change the created date in finder?
    Does the created date mean that the app was downloaded and installed on that date?

    Thank you so much.  That works just fine.  However, I also just discovered something.  Evidently, at least some of the fields in list view are editable.  By adding Grouping to the columns shown and clicking on the empty field, I was actually able to type whatever I needed into the field.
    I have not yet tried it with other fields, but will do so to see if it works for all fields in the list view.

  • Need to collect the Windows logon and logoff events across the Domain in a DC eviornment, for different machines and user accounts.

    Hello All,
    I am trying to build a Tool to collect the info about all the user's who login and logoff on daily basis in a domain network. I am using a windows 2008 server as a DC and have xp, win 7, win 8 , win 12 server as clients in the network.
    There are few questions in my mind which I am not able to answer.
    1> When a user tries to login to the DC network, he/ she gets authenticated using the kerberos protocol. does these authentication gets logged on the AD server by default? I have see a way to enable it from registry but even that's not giving me the expected
    output in the eventvwr.
    2> Do I have to use Audit policies to monitor all the user's log off and log on activities?
    3> Is there a way to collect these information from any place on the AD server other than the Eventvwr?
    Please help me in finding the solutions to these query's  of mine.
    Thanks.

    2. In the left pane, navigate to Forest: <domain_name>→ Domains → <domain_name>→ Domain Controllers. Right-click the effective domain controllers policy (by default, it is the Default Domain Controllers Policy), and select Edit from the pop-up
    menu. </domain_name></domain_name>
    <domain_name><domain_name>3. In the Group Policy Management Editor dialog, expand the Computer Configuration node on the left and navigate to Policies → Windows Settings → Security Settings → Local Policies → Audit Policy. </domain_name></domain_name>
    <domain_name><domain_name>4. Set the Audit account management and the Audit directory service access policy to "Success". Set the Audit logon events policy to  "Success" and "Failure". </domain_name></domain_name>
    5. Navigate to Start → Run and type '"cmd". Input the gpupdate /force command and press Enter. The group policy will be updated.
    Number of events could be excessive so you need to adjust size of Security log ( 1gb for example )
    Usage of EventCombMT Tool (part of
    MS ALtools )
     This tool gathers specific events from several different servers to one central location.
     Run the EventCombMT.exe > Right Click on Select to search field > Choose Get DCs in Domain > Mark your Domain Controllers for search
     Click the Searches menu > replace Event ID field values with
    4624  LOGON / 4634  LOGOFF
     Click Search and wait for the process to complete the operation.
     After the search is done the output directory contains the log files for the domain controllers where events with the specified Event ID’s were found.

  • Why can't I get the activities to open in "The Land of Me?"

    I have "The Land of Me" loaded and can get as far as trying to opening the activities and the following error message displays on the screen,."There was an internal processing error. Manually retry or check the firmware updates."
    I have done these and even sent a questionnaire to the company with no response.
    I am using Hp 8600 Premium printer and have had no other problems accessing any other apps.
    Thank You for any help you can provide.

    I don't know what I did to solve this, but I think it's solved by making a "duplicate of each track, then the tracks are all independent , got that from the LUG too

  • Screen Flows Not Working Correctly

    We are using OPM 10.2.
    We decided to extensively use screen flows because we had a requirement wherein the user should be allowed to navigate back and forth on the OPA screens.
    If we do not use screen flows the following screnario occurs..
    We've a rule which is satisfied if all attributes on Screen1 Screen2 and Screen3 are known.
    User enters details on Screen1 and Screen2, but he wants to navigate back from Screen3 to Screen1, he reaches Screen1 by hitting browser Back twice, but when he again hits
    Submit on Screen1 he's directly navigated to Screen3 skipping Screen2. This is because all attributes on Screen2 had been collected in first iteration.
    We used screen flows expecting that this would force the required screen order, but it is also behaving in similar way.
    Does it have any thing to do with the way the rules are written.
    Thanks In Advance.

    Hi user1002818,
    The reason that the screens aren't being displayed again is because then engine has the data which was collected on those screens - from a rules point of view there is no need to display them again. To enforce a particular forward/backwards flow we have Interview Flows, which it sounds like you've already started to use.
    One of the reasons that OWD doesn't support an OOTB 'back' button is because navigating backwards in a session has the possibility of invalidating data 'upstream' in the interview. e.g. I fill in some personal details on one screen, on screen 2 I say that I have children, and on screen 3 I create children instances. When I navigate back and change my previous answer to 'I do not have children' what happens to the children instances which I've created? Semantically my session is now invalid. It's a choice left up to the customer/project as to how they want to manage their session validity (delete the data, show the data and ask the customer if it's valid or just do nothing).
    One way to achieve what you want to do would be to author rules as normal and manage the screen flows via a simple push/pop stack implementation which keeps track of screen submissions and data entered on those screens. This will give you the flexibility to both delete invalid data or display it to the user again as you wish
    Could you tell me which project it is that you're working on at the moment please? I'm working on large UK project at the moment and the OPA team is providing support to achieve something very similar.

  • How to suppress 'spurious' update events where the entry is identical

    We often have clusters with event listeners on reference data caches. These caches are refreshed by calling putAll() to update values efficiently. Although this is efficient, and keeps refresh code simple, many unwanted 'spurious' update events are generated. Spurious in the sense that in most of update events the old and new values are the same.
    We considered using a MapTrigger to suppress these uninteresting update events. The problem is how to implement a 'veto' in the MapTrigger.process method. What we'd like to do from a trigger is:
    if (old value == new value)
      ignore new entry
    else
      process, enrich, or validate new entry as desired...
    end ifWe'd like a clean way to signal from a MapTrigger that an entry should be ignored (rather than rejected). The Javadoc shows two possibilities:
    *(1)* undo the pending change by resetting the entry value to the original value obtained from MapTrigger.Entry.getOriginalValue();
    *(2)* reject the pending change by throwing a RuntimeException, which will prevent any changes from being committed, and will result in the exception being thrown from the operation that attempted to modify the map
    Of these *(2)* Causes a put() failure in the client. That is appropriate for something like a validation failure, but not for simply ignoring an unwanted update. Option *(1)* unfortunately generates an update event!
    Our current workaround is a MapEventTransformer to suppress the spurious updates:
    public class UpdateSupressionTransformer implements MapEventTransformer {
      /** Avoid sending an update event if the value is unchanged */
      public MapEvent transform(MapEvent e) {
        if (e.getId() == MapEvent.ENTRY_UPDATED) {
          if (e.getNewValue().equals(e.getOldValue())) {
            return null;
        return e;
    }This works well but requires client code to register event listeners correctly. It also means that the unecessary change is still generated in the cache. For example a cache stores will be called needlessly.
    Can a feature be considered to allow a clean way for identical updates to be ignored, or to not generate events?
    Ideally this would be before the update is made - like a trigger. It seems a pity the MapTrigger design does not allow this.
    Such a feature would allow simple cache refresh logic using putAll() - without having to check for deltas - avoiding large numbers of unwanted update events. We think this is likely to be a common requirement.
    Cheers,
    phil

  • How can I quit my iPhoto screen that as crashed and locked on. The locked screen has no iPhoto file list on the left and the part of the screen that should have uploaded photos is blank except for the rotating download icon in the centre of screen. Help?I

    My SD card reader has caused my iPhoto screen to be locked with no list of files on the lefthand side and a blank main photo area apart from the rotating download icon operating in the centre of the photo part of the screen.
    I have tried to quit iphoto but when I restart it the same locked screen appears.
    I believe I caused this problem when I removed my SD device without first ejecting it when the blank screen appeared without downloading my new photos.
    Can anyone help a 66 year old computer illiterate fool ?.
    Regards

    Use Force Quit (under the Apple menu at the top) to close iPhoto.  Then try opening it again.  If it locks up again force quit and try this:  launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists.
    If the problem does not persist try the following: make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and  apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
    Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
    Fix #2
    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
    Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
    In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
    If the problem persists in the test library do the following:  make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
    1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
    2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
    Click to view full size
    3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
    NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
