Ever since I moved, I can't Hot Sync my VIIx
Hi,
I have a Palm VIIx which I use mostly as an address book. I went to use it after a while of inactivity during the time that I was moving. I found the batteries had died and when I replaced them and tried to Hot Sync again it would Sync. I think the last successful Sync was in January or so. It was maybe two months before I tried again, and I just thought the problem was the software on my USB Serial cable (I have a laptop so I had to buy a separate cable to link the Hot Sync port to my computer). I haven't been able to find my original software for the extra cable, but today my husband found a way to search and reload the cable software and the installation was supposedly successful. When I try to sync, however, I am still getting the following error message:
"The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I recently updated to the newest version of Flash (17.0.0.134) and I have a MacBook Air, running OS X and I have Safari version 8.0.4. Ever since the update I can no longer select drop down menus or get Netflix to run properly. Has anyone else had this issue/know how to resolve it?

Since reinstalling itunes i can no longer sync. Error message says already synced with another itunes library. I get a blank sync - no songs, photos ect as it comes up with this error whenever try to select what is to be synced. Help - lost everything. Complete nightmare - Apple sort a fix NOW, but will take any help

Yes... Everything will be Wiped and Replaced with what is currently on Your Mac.

I have a 3rd gen iPod touch and I downloaded the most recent itunes, ever since I did, only the first song syncs to the ipod. As soon as it gets to the second, it still says its syncing. However, nothing happens. How do I fix this? I have restored and updated the ipod. I have the new iTunes. I have restarted my computer checked the connection and everything.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

As I am not willing to put my Contacts data on iCloud, I am no longer able to update Contacts between MacBook, iPhone and iPad. This greatly reduces the value of these products.

Ever since I upgraded because of iOS7 on my iPhone, now my iTunes no longer can connect to the internet and my Home Sharing has been cut. Is anyone else having these issues? I tried the "DNS Flush" trick but itunes still won't budge.
Yes, after updating to iTunes 11.1.0,126 no Internet was available any longer on WLAN nor LAN interfaces (Windows 8 64bit version). WLAN interface still has connection to the router (on low level) but on higher protocol level no connectivity exist).
There exist a thread for Windows 7 from 2010 with the same issue describing how to solve the problem.

Just follow the procedure, hence go to the "device manager", look for neworkadaper and de-install LAN and WLAN drivers. Reboot the PC/Laptop and Windows will install the driver(s) again and at the same time repair the mess produced by Apple.
This issue occured only on one of our family Laptop but not on a 2nd. Laptob nor PC. -
How can I hot sync with Windows 7,
do I need a upgrade download ..??? I have not use windows 7 before I can hot sync on XP but not on my new laptop with Window 7

Can't get in into itunes store from my laptop. None of my devices will sync. Ipad, itouches or iphone. HELP!
Since you provide no information at all about your issue, it is nearly impossible to help.
Perhaps if you were to share exactly what your problem is, then someone could help. -
I should note, I am using the latest version as of today, I am using the portable version, and I have a TON of addons, a list of which I can post if I have to. Any Ideas what could be causing this? I use the "Open link in a New Tab" option every single day. I don't want to have to hit some special button to do so like my current temporary workaround with tab mix plus, I miss the old method, the option is still there in the context menu, but it won't do a single thing ever :(. Also not working is "Open Link in This Tab" and "Open Link in Duplicated Tab" (Not that I ever use those ones so who give a F). "Open Links in New Tabs" Still works though, but not for single links, so its not an ideal workaround. I can't afford to simply reset the browser, my settings, my addons, everything would be gone. I could back it up with FEBE but then I would be right back where I started. :(
Guys, I should wrap this up and let you all know so this page may help those experiencing the Firebug Context Menu Glitch. It's messed up, that was one of my favourite programs :(. Now looking for a version that doesn't do that.

Can the Hot Sync Log be cleared?
Zire 31, Desktop 6.4, Vista Business-32 bit, and Outlook 2007.
Can the log be cleared? I keep getting the same error message about some calendar entries, but the entries are correct in the handheld and in Outlook on the PC.

Go to your Homehub advanced settings / Home Network tab.
Under Wireless Connections : left click on an item you want to delete , and you should get an option to delete, at bottom of the page.
Downside of this is you will need to do this for each enrty.
PS ... there might be a bug on your homehub cos refresh works ok on mine. Its a HH2b

For quite some time now I have been unable to sync the calendar info from my handheld to my desktop. I have removed the softwareand reloaded 4.14 and 6.2 several times but to no avail. The sync breezes through until it gets to calendar. I've even let it go for over anhour at a time and it just never finishes. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Ok, first we need to see if you can sync without calendar checked. On your computer right click the hotsync icon and go to custom. Then click on calendar and then change. We are going to set calendar to do nothing and check the box that says set as default. Close up the menus and try to hotsync if it syncs fine good continue on.
Next we need to install a program on to your device called DBFixit (here's the link http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/dbfixit.htm) Download this file on the right side of the page. Then install the application to the device. Once on the device open it up and tap on the blue bar but in the top left select delete calendar blobs and say OK or yes. Then keep running that till you have 0 listed or no blobs found. Then we are going to hotsync with calendar syncing from the device to the PC. Again right click the hotsync icon and go to custom. Then click on calendar and then change. Then select handheld overwrites desktop. Sync and post back if that fixed the issue.
If it did then we need to change the sync to sync the files and set that as default. To do that, again right click the hotsync icon and go to custom. Then click on calendar and then change. Then select sync the files and set as default box checked. You should be all set at that point. -
Due to a system crash, I had to reinstall my software for my Tungsten E. I've tried a few times using my disk, tried a couple of times getting the download from Palm, but each time I reinstall the software, the display on my computer's monitor changes the icons to fuzzy instead of the way they were, and the colors of all the other graphics have completely changed as well. It now it won't sync up to Outlook as it did before. Does any one know why this would be happening? The only difference I can come up with from before my system crashed to after the crash is Internet Explorer 7 to 8.

I had a complete data loss on my Zire 72s due to battery drain. I have the palm desktop back ups on a pc Windows vista and mac os 10. I reset the device and now cannot get it to identify the desktop user account to sync and can't seem to find a way to add the same user name to the handheld.
Any information, steps to help me out would be great so I can get the info back onto my zire.
p.s. I also lost my solitaire game and where I can download this app again would be welcome as well.

Can't hot sync - M130 with Windows XP
Have an old Palm M130. Works fine, and was just using it for printing out agenda (hard copy), and phone numbers. Was hooked to my laptop and everyting was a-ok (hotsync was working fine). Want to install it on my desktop, but it's not synchronizing: "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again". That's the error message that I get.
Checked EVERYTHING - cable, usb port, etc.. etc... Using Windows XP. Downloaded all versions from the web site, but seems like I would need something else? The only thing that I haven't checked (and don't have the CD anymore) is Pocket Mirror. This could probably work, using it with Microsoft Outlook (which I did with my old laptop...). I don't want ending up paying 30$$$+ just to see it it might actualy work or not...
