Ever since i plugged my CAC card in, every admin action i take forces the "Insert Smart Card" authorization screen
For months now, I keep getting told to plug in a smart card every time I want to download a game, update a program, or just change settings to my user account. It also keeps telling me my PIN to my CAC is wrong, but I KNOW my PIN still works. I am still
able to log in on all of my Army sites and use those sites with out problems. How do I switch it back? Why is it telling me my PIN is wrong?

Would you please let me know if your account associated with your CAC card is a domain account?
Have you tried to contact the domain admin to reset the permission on CAC card to check the issue?
In addition, if the permission for this card is set correctly after confirmation, I would like to know if this issue just happened recently.
If so, you can try to boot into safe mode with local administrator or built-in admin and perform the system restore to see if this issue can be fixed.

I turned my iPhone 4s on this morning and it has been 'searching' for network ever since. I have this problem a lot and it sometimes takes 24 hours to get my network (O2) - anything I can do?
I had this problem when I first had the phone in January which resulted in a new handset. It only seems to happen after my phone gets turned off and/or battery dies and I turn it back on......nightmare!! O2 weren't a great deal of help last time - took nearly 3 weeks before they agreed to send a new handset. Thanks for your advice

Ever since I updated to Firefox 7.1, my computer won't go to the internet when I double-click the Mozilla Firefox icon, like it normally does; I have to restart my computer to be able to access the internet. Why?
There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.<br />
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.<br />

So make sure that you keep the cookies from those sites via an allow exception and that you do not clear the cookies or site preferences via "Clear Recent History". -
Tried to open an app and my iPad gen one froze. It only shows the apple on black screen and will show the operating wheel sometimes and while plugged in it will beep every few minutes. Will not load one show anything on screen but the small white apple.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ever since I downloaded FF 4, I try to play Text Twist on 3 different websites and nothing happens. It attempts to load the game and I get a blank screen. All of the other games that I habitually play seem to be working fine. What happened?
I got it working with the help of Live Chat tech support. There was some sort of error happening with my graphics driver... something that was not a problem with my previous version of Photoshop was now a problem with the new version. I updated the graphic card driver and software via the manufacturer's website and that helped me get through.
After updating the driver... at first it felt like I was going backward a bit... I got an expired trial period error again on opening Photoshop the first time, but then I tried again logging out and logging back in to CC as noted previously ( http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/cc-applications-crash-immediately- launch.html ) ... and this time that helped fix the trial error and this time that was not followed by crashing (thanks to the graphics driver update).
I have an ATI Radeon HD 5670 graphics card. The previous version of the driver I was running did not work with Photoshop CC. I have now updated the driver to version 12.104.0.0 and everything is working now.
Thanks to the Live Chat technician who quickly identified my graphics card as the issue! -
My MBP suffers from "kernel panic" attacks on an almost daily basis. This has occured ever since I downloaded Lion. The Apple support page suggests that this is a rare occurance, but it happens to me almost every day. Most often, if I let the computer go to sleep or close the lid, I'll find that it won't "wake up" without a complete re-boot. It always sends a report to Apple and for a couple of days I thought the issue was resolved, but now it's happening again with increasing regularity. I've reinstalled Lion once already... Any suggestions?

Ever since version 5, FF becomes "not responding" every 4 minutes.
ff 5 and beyond (i even downgraded to 3.6) becomes "not responding" every 5 or 6 mintues for more the 3 minutes.
Right now is even worst. I DON'T have FF.
Is unusable.
I tried disabling everything. still the same.
I tried uninstalling chrome cause ever since google+ installed chome on my laptop, FF started acting up.
But nothing seems to fix FF.
PLEASE ADVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't live without FF. :(Safe mode is similar to private browsing. So you will want to run in normal mode.
Now if you choose to delete and reset then you have brought all the settings back to start up state.
Try starting up in the normal mode, if this fixes things then you are ready to go.
If not, then start in the safe mode with Add-ons disabled, once it starts up go to Add-ons and disable the last one installed and try a normal start up. Do this until the culprit is found.
If you don't care about the Add-ons then just create a new [[Profiles]] and be done with it. -
I recently updated my iphone 4 with the 6.1 update. Ever since then my iheart radio app has been acting up. While listening words are getting cut off as well the stations just cut off playing. I have tried shutting my phone down and turning it back on but it doesn.t seem to help.
i have same problem in UK - my phone no longer works with my car cable - it will charge the phone, my ipad works fine, as does my old itouch so I know that the cable is ok. It comes up with no connection even though it is charging it. It used to be fine I dont understand why this would happen?

It's very annoying and I have talked to a few other's that are having this same problem. It's getting very annoying and need to do something about it. I have used OnyX to clean up my Mac, but that doesn't seem to help at all. Has anyone else here been experiencing these issues .. Firefox. Skype etc ....

Ever since updating my iOs to 7 I can no longer download apps from the store.
It will ask for my password like normal but then it will tell me that 'such and such app cannot be purchased at this time.' I've tried signing in and out of my apple ID, restarting my phone, etc, etc but nothing seems to be working. Any leads on how to fix this? Preferably without having to back up my phone and restore it AGAIN...since the last time that happend (when I updated to iOs7 and lost everything) it didn't turn out so well.
Yes, Avast could very well be the issue. Bad software, use the developer's instructions to uninstall and don't install again. Your Mac has no real need for most 3rd party anti-viral software and those so-called tune-up apps mess up more than they are worth. A pristine OS X system is all that you need, it takes care of itself.

I updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 yesterday and now when I press the home button even once, it opens the app switcher (which is supposed to only open after pressing the home button twice quickly). Sometimes pressing the home button once even brings up the assistive button (which for me should take three button presses). This did not happen before I updated my software. Has anyone else had this issue? Know how to stop it? Very annoying and at this point feel like I should have waited before I did the update.
Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
this problem occurs when there is a short circuit in the phone... you most likely got it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip.. -

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the scope of the issue you are describing. If you are having launch issues with multiple built-in app, or they simply do not appear, you may want to first try resetting your iPhone:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
If you are still having issues after a reset, you may want to make sure you have a current backup of your data in iTunes, then try restoring your iPhone to factory settings and testing it in that default condition to see if the issue persists before restoring your data. When I try to view any article with a slideshow, the next button on the slideshow doesn't work. It doesn't matter which website, it doesn't happen in other browsers (ie Chrome), and it didn't happen prior to the recent Firefox update. I've cleared cache, checked all of the settings, and nothing's fixing this. How do I fix it?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
