Ever since I updated iTunes my iPods will not sink with my cars
Ever since I updated iTunes my iPods will not sink with my cars.I have a 30g and 60g 5th gen iPods that I use in my two car. In my cars I have a dealer installed integration module so that I can navigate my I pods play list artist and song titles using the radio itself. Ever since that last iTunes update 7.3.1. I no longer am able to use this feature. I used my sister’s 30g iPod that she did has not updated and the system works fine. Can someone help me with this problem.
I have had an Alpine head unit in my car with the ipod connection for about a year and it has worked fine until recently. Now I get an error message on the ipod that reads, "The currently attached accessory is not supported by this ipod." I have tried connecting a buddy's ipod to my car stereo, and his still works fine with it. I've done the 5 R's, tried going back to an older version of itunes as Alpine suggested. My next step will be going to the Apple store with an appointment, seeing what they say.

After updating iTunes, my iPod will not sync properly
Recently iTunes prompted me to update the version 10.2.2.12. This seemed to go successfully. However, now I get a -50 error message for about 100 various songs when trying to sync with my classic iPod. I am unable to sync the whole library nor can I sync just selected playlists. This never happened before. I have tried the reinstalling .dll files to no avail. Any suggestions?

Hello xtremejoe
I find that changing some settings in your syncing options will get syncing working again, like enabling Manually manage music and videos.

After failed update of itunes yesterday, now will not run with error message "MSVCR80.dll not found" APSDaemon.exe will not run. itunes will not now run.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

I have a new computer now with windows 8. Old one was windows 7. The itunes library contains all I expect on new computer. Ipod will not sync with content. It says it is syncing but only picks up 1 tune. Solution please. I am on itunes 64 but it makes no difference from 32 bit.
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

You can only sync with one iTunes library/computer. To switch:

I got a new computer and my IPOD will not sync with the new computer.....I have a ITUNES account on the new computer and is downloading music just fine but it will not sync to the IPOD....What should I do to sync my IPOD? thanks
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
Attempts to sync an iDevice to a new computer will remove all content from the device and replace it with content from the new, empty library.
