There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically. 
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server. 
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.

So make sure that you keep the cookies from those sites via an allow exception and that you do not clear the cookies or site preferences via "Clear Recent History".

Had same problem on my iPad2 with the original 8.0 release. I ended up wiping it completely clean and doing a reset and restore from backup. That seemed to fix my issues. I had the same problem when 7 came out and did the same wipe and restore to get everything working well.

Ever since I updated to IOs5 my regular text messaging won't work

I can imessage just fine but anytime I text someone a message comes up saying that my SMS mailbox is full and I cannot receive new messages until I delete some. I already deleted almost all of my texts though and I know it can't be full because before I updated my software this was never a problem. Anyone else have this problem or know what to do for it? I already tried to reset all my settings and went to my phone store and they tried giving me a new sim card but nothing works. If I turn my phone off and back on I will received the text messages though.

Do yoou periodically close your apps? Double-click the Home button and you will see the open apps at the bottom. Press and hold one so it wiggles and yu see the X in the upper left corner. Then press X to close the apps that you don't need. That will free up memory (and speed up your phone).

Why won't a cursor show up in the shape when I double click it?

I thought you could just double click the shape to type in it...The cursor shows up outside the shape in the main part of the document or it highlights unrelated text from a text box, but it won't put a cursor in the shape. After trying 50 times, I will finally get the cursor in the box.

Anyway, there is really nothing out of the ordinary with the doc. When Pages Help says "Double click the shape and type the text you want," it does not work to just double click in the middle of the shape, like I would guess. I had to double click near the edge of the shape.

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/">iPhoto Library Manager</a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

HI I was wondering if someone could please answer a question for me. The last flash player I installed on my Windows Vista computer I was given several options in whether I wanted to Automatically install Flash player on my computer so I cidked the recommened option to automatically install Flash player on my computer. What I would like to now is this after flash player has downloaded and installed on my computer does flash player does it have to restart my computer before flash player will be fully installed on my computer and before flash player will work on my computer.

However, it may need to wait until the browser is restarted in order to delete old files. Nothing to worry about.

The only way I can open a link in a new tab is if I right click a link and select "open in a new tab" in the dropdown menu, but ctrl + click is so much easier and faster. Any clue how to fix this?

Some other users have fingered the Ask toolbar as the cause of this problem. You can try disabling or removing it here:

First, reboot. That will temporarily free up some space. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB free for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of your data.
Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space.
Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To really see everything, you have to run it as root.
First, back up all data if you haven't already done so. No matter what happens, you should be able to restore your system to the state it was in at the time of that backup.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

Suggest you try a NVRAM / PRAM reset, as described by Apple:
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Yes, I found the cookies, and thanks for taking the time to help out. I called Citibank. They told me that they will not support Firefox or Safari for Mac because our user group is too small for them and the expense too high. The person that I spoke to said in the past, Firefox has worked with Citi, but that was just by accident. At the moment they have no plans to help Mac people using the latest OS log onto their website or enable programs like my Quicken or Mint.com to access. They don't work anymore either. I think all the problems happened after the last OS update.
