Ever since I updated to the IOS 6, I no longer can play my music in the car! It is plug and play! It just sits there saying connecting and nothing happens. A few of my friends have said the same thing. Help please! Any ideas?

Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
this problem occurs when there is a short circuit in the phone... you most likely got it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip..

As long as you use your computer like King Penguin stated for Report a Problem, you should be fine. If you can't get to your computer, are not using your computer, or your computer is not longer in the mix since you have been using your iPad, email iTunes support about the problem.

Hi..I have just recently got an iPhone and I had installed some apps already but now when I try to install and download any apps it just sits there on "waiting" and will not download.. Im able to erase it but no apps will download now. I have tried logging out of the app store but it still did the same thing. I also tried resetting it and that didn't work either. I've tried everything I can think of but still just sits there saying "waiting." what do I do?

I have iMovie 10.0.4. I want to transfer some old DV tape videos to MPEG 4 files to be stored on a 4 TB external drive. I successfully imported the video to iMovie, created a project by moving all captured files into a project and the first time I shared the project to a file it worked as expected. Every subsequent try to transfer another video would fail to transfer. When I clicked save it gives the warning that it is too big for iCloud, iso I click create on this computer. The progress circle comes up with no indication of progress. The show activity drop down just says sharing to "file" no file name as in the first one and indicates no time remaining. In fact it just sits there apparently doing nothing. I'v tried it a half dozen times, deleted everything and started over. It transfers the first project to file and then nothing on additional tries. What do I have wrong, am I missing something?
In iTunes 11 uncheck the preferences setting in in the iTunes Preferences panel "Advanced > Copy Files to iTunes Media folder when adding to Library"

I've done a clean install of Windows 7 to my laptop and so have of course lost my previous Firefox installation. I do have a sync account and have sync'd my bookmarks to my Android phone. I can't find an option in Firefox to sync bookmarks back to the computer from which the sync account originated. There is of course no sync account set up in the newly installed browser, and my only practical option is to create a new account. I am afraid to enter my current account information here, because I don't want to take the chance of having Sync overwrite my stored records with the pristine state of my newly installed browser. When I click the link for existing accounts, I'm directed to the "Add a Device" screen, but this screen presumes I'm sync'ing to a device other than the one I currently working on. I can't discern a way of adding my laptop as a "new" device.

The problem isn't so much that I dont have the facility to rate the files... I can rate tracks from my library using Media Monkey.
The issue is more that I have a couple of thousand unrated tracks - most of them are new songs that i've never listened to before (I work in a music store!). I want to be able to listen to them and rate them when I go for a run, and then have the ratings transferred onto the computer library. -
I have upgraded to PSE13 and want to unistall PSE9. When I try to do this all I get is an error message, "Error 1316. The specified account already exists". Then the uninstaller rolls back and I am left with a partially uninstalled version that is unusable. I tried to reinstall the software from the original PSE9 disk but all it tries to do is uninstall the version already on my computer, and this then does the same thing as noted above. How do I completely uninstall PSE9?

The scanner works fine with Explorer and worked fine with Firefox before the upgrade. I find it disconcerting that you upgrade something that then changes how I have to use my computer in ways that have nothing to do with Firefox. At least we should have been warned prior to the upgrade that this was going to happen.

3gs starts to sync then just sits there new ios seems to be problem?

I have had this with my 30GB clickwheel since purchase. Even then, the very first time - it timedout and failed to upload all 4,000+ songs in one sync attempt. It now takes ages to even recognise when the Ipod is connected - I have tried Restore as recommended in the event of problems and now (in iTunes8) - syncing takes absolutely ages - it appears to take 10-15 seconds per song to transfer over USB 2.0! On this basis - it will take 18 hours to transfer all songs back over to the iPod.....what a P in the A.

When you plug it into the aux port?
Go to the Music app, select what you want and hit play. The stereo should be set to aux. If you have bluetooth in your car, you may need to press the icon on the phone to select the output. Audio out goes to the last connected device. If your bluetooth doesn't connect until after you plug into the aux port, it will try to stream via bluetooth if your system supports A2DP. -
Ever since I updated my iPhone 4S and my iPad 2 to IOS 6 all my iMessages are coming to both my iPhone and my IPad. How do I stop the iMessages I send and receive on my phone from receiving on my iPad as well? I have tried going into my settings and making sure I'm only set up to receive iMessages to my cell number and not my email....but that didn't fix the problem.
Here the way to do it, for both, or for only one Go into your settings, Messages and turn on iMessage. It will then send messages that are iMessages to both your iPad and iPhone. You can also turn off this feature on the iPad if you do not want to receive messages on the iPad.
