Ever since new version was downloaded, firefox crashes, why
just keeps saying reload tab and is slow
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Don't know what else to say. Firefox no longer functinos. It simply starts the hourglass everytime I try to do something, then locks up and requires conitual stikin gof the End Now dialogue box befreo finally stopping. Then whne I return, half the time it present a "Boy are we embarrassed" screeen that says somehting about not finding tabs. This seems to have started about teh time I added a couple items like VShare and a TV toolbar to try to watch NFL games.
I have a similar issue. Sound works okay but keep getting the app not optimized, you may experience a decrease in celluar strength. Verizon says it is a software issue. Apple says it is a hardware. Phone will niot synch to itunes to do any kind of reset.

I'm operating a new laptop using Windows 7. Ever since the update last Fri, Firefox keeps crashing on most websites I visit. It's very frustrating. I've browsed to folder C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\components but there is no file nsBrowserOpt.dll.
Mozilla do not respond to crash reports that have been submitted. they are used to help analyze the causes of the crashing in order to make Firefox more stable.
Can you post some of the recent crash report IDs as shown in the [[Firefox crashes]] article, that may help somebody identify the cause of your crashes. -
When I upgraded to Firefox 4.0 I saw a message that said the new version was no longer compatible with CLIPMATE. What can I do now? Are there similar clipping extensions?

Seriously, more and more people are leaving Mozilla because of constant crashes after opening few tabs. I don't like google chrome as I am using this browser for years and the only thing I hate here is crashing. If chrome doesn't crash, why can't you copy their solution and stop crashing in new version of Mozilla firefox?
My internet connection is fine, so is speed, so there aren't some other causes of crash, and many Mozilla users I knew stopped using it and are now using chrome. For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC. -
I have a new Mac and I migrated mi old one to this. I can not open iTunes because a message stating "iTunes Library.itl" can not be opened because it was created in more recent version of iTunes. There is not a new version to download. How can I fix this?
Go to iTunes > about iTunes. What version are you running? If necessary, hold down the option key while starting iTunes and create a new, test library so it will start.

Interesting, they host several websites and email accounts on separate servers, don't think the problem is with them, pretty sure this is new since new version of Mozilla was updated on my system yesterday.OK, but in my ipad, the apple id i have in itues is already the one iwant to have, but th one i used to sin in for i-coud is the other one. Any tip as to how to change the apple id for icloud and any idea how to know what apps i bought with the other apple id so as to delete them from my ipad to avoid being asked to enter another apple id every time they get updated? thanks!

Why does the new version 5 of firefox show up all the graphics on my web sites with a huge wide black border? They should be narrow and yellow!! I use iWeb for my web sites on an AppleMac iMac 22" wide screen.
That is unfortunately a bug only in Firefox 5 and will be fixed in Firefox 6 (Aug).

I can not get iTunes to open on my macbook air and I'm running 10.84 it is saying there is a newer version to download or quit itunes so it dose not fully open
The file that I'm have issues with in itunes is the file called iTunes Libary.itl.
So just to get itunes to open I had to delete that file and then sync all of my music back into itunesday, is there anyway so I do not have to keep doing that? -
I am using Windows 7, Internet Explorer 11,on a Compaq CQ5210F PC. I am trying to download Adobe Flashplayer. When the download process gets to the point where you are supposed to click the Finish button, a message appears underneath the download progress bar, that says, "Newer version already downloaded", which is false. I hit Finish button anyway, and I am shunted to another screen for problem solving, which does not work. Any ideas, suggestions, help from anyone?

Please do the following:
Download the uninstaller from this page, Uninstall Flash Player | Windows.
Download the installer(s) corresponding to the browser(s) you use from this page, Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows. They are posted at the bottom of the page in the 'Still having problems section'.
Delete any installers you have previously downloaded.
Run the uninstaller. After running the installer launch Windows Explorer and navigate to \Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash. Ensure the directory only contains the FlashInstall.log file. If you have a 64-bit OS, please also check \Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash directory for the same.
If other files exist (e.g FlashUtil..., NPSWF..., Flash...ocx, etc), reboot your machine to remove these files.
Run the installer(s) downloaded from step 2.
If you are still encountering issues after executing these steps, please post a screenshot of the \Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash (and \Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash if 64-bit OS) as well as the contents of the FlashInstall.log file (from both directories if applicable).
