Ever since the last two updates of iOS 6 I have a blank email screen

Ever since the last two updates I have a lank email screen. I've tried a warm reboot and a cold boot but with no results. I have nothing. Also the battery drains very quickly now. It used to last for two days quite easily and now it barely makes it thru the day and I've actually been using it less. In the time I've been composing this post, it's drained 6%. Additionally, there is considerable lag when using other functions such as photos. I have a 64GB iPad and no where near capacity so that shouldn't be an issue. We are, BTW, down 8% of battery function. Just so frustrating to have a wonderful piece of technology turn into crap.
Prior to the last two updates, it was functioning normally. What's the fix? Please advise. And don't suggest a reboot or complete shutdown because I've tried that.

PS Down 10% battery capacity

Backup your ipad and then restore it as a new iPad with iTunes on your computer. Check to see if battery use has returned to normal. If it has not then your pad may have a hardware problem. If so contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store.
If it now functions normally after the restore as new then restore it from the backup you made previously and continue to monitor battery usage.

    Audiobooks are not avaiable for redownload from iTunes, though I suspect you may find they are still on your computer even if not currently listed in your library. This may help...
    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
    Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping.  Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
    In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
    See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
    When you get it all working make a backup!
    Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
    Would you mind telling me which anti-virus package you use? It may be that it is disturbing iTunes when it tries to write out the fresh database, as it does after almost any activity with your library. I'm noticing more of this type of problem than usual and trying to see if there is any pattern. It may help to prevent a repeat of the problem if you look at the advanced options for your AV package and see if you can find a way to exclude the iTunes folder from any real-time scanning process.

    Ever since I did the lastest iPhoto update my picture albums have not correctly matched up with the corresponding photos. i.e. my wedding pictures now show up in my vacation album.  The picture thumbnails are not showing me the correct photos.

    I have iPhoto '11 with the lastest software update. I forgot what number it currently is. I am vigalant when it comes to the latest software updates. Yes, I did restore my iPhoto pictures from a backup since I founf out I could not share any of my pics using my apeture library since they were not the orginals. So, after the back-up of iPhoto all my pictures albums and the pics in the album do not match up, even the thumbnails.  I find this quite annoying. All my albums were working and correctly before this update.  As for apeture can I re-master all the photos there masters? so i can just do away with using iPhoto all together?

    I mentioned, that YouTube was not fast enough to load as fast, as to play the video from the beginning to the end, without stop.
    The I measured the internet bandwith available: 193 kbps.
    My ipod touch is connected via WIFI directly to my MacBook. The MacBook shares the internet connection it has via ethernet, via WIFI to the iPOD.
    The Macbook has 20000 kbps available. Until one of the last updates I could use 3500 kbps of them on the ipod touch.
    Do I have to wait for the next update (bugfix), or can I help myself?
    The ping rountrip times are beetween 20 and 200 ms. When I put the intervall for ping to 0.1 seconds, the ping times come down to the normal 1 ms. During this heavy ping-Attack the available bandwith on the iPod is four times higher: 800 kbps. Still not nice, but enough for youTube to load fast enough.
    On another site I read, that it would help to switch WIFI to 11 Mbit. How do I do this on my MacBook?

    This is such a PITA! I do not have time to troubleshoot software. Many of us spend our lives starting at a computer and this crap destroys productivity!
    I did recently replace Adobe Reader because it started taking 10+ seconds to open a document on my desktop. Found Foxit reader (unassociated with Firefox I believe) and solved that problem. And I just removed all Adobe products (Flash Player) and it does seem to speed things up considerably. Granted at some point I will need a flash player (don't know if there is an alternative) and if the slowness reoccurs in Firefox I guess I will switch to Chrome. Sad, I really like Firefox, except when it is slower than death tied to a stump.
    It does appear that Adobe products are what is currently destroying world productivity. It's amazing that they could beat Microsoft in this category. They must have put forth a monumental effort to achieve this.

    At lunchtime yesterday when I went online, I got the message "checking add-on compatibility with this version of Firefox;" subsequently, the Yoono sidebar displayed as a solid black box. Disabling and re-enabling Yoono didn't help, nor did removing and reinstalling Yoono, nor did restarting the computer. I've come to rely on Yoono to advise me of YouTube & Facebook updates without me having to directly visit my YouTube or Facebook home page and scrolling through all the updates myself - and I really miss not having the Yoono sidebar around!

    please directly contact the extension developers - they can likely give you more detailed guidance and are the only ones who can fix bugs or make necessary adjustments in the addon for new firefox versions. thank you...

    I've tried my best to troubleshoot. . . opening in safe mode nothing seems to work.

    Frustrating!
    I'm now more than convinced that this is caused by the latest iTunes version.
    As some others stated in other threads .... it seems that Apple doesn't really take care of this problem. So what if, if we could make them feeling the same pain as we do. ... Just by dropping them a mail as soon as we have the problem again. Not more often, we don't want to be unfair, but everytime it happens.

    Since the last update to iTunes Version 10.6.1 (7) streaming content (Movies and TV shows) to Apple TVs and iPads has two major problems:
    - Home Sharing is lost during streaming (streaming stops even if a large portion of the content is already preloaded)
    - streaming stops and the main screen pops up (Home Sharing still available)
    This happens sometime after some minutes, sometimes after several hours, but it surely happens.
    I followed every advice I could found on this support website. There are now a lot of threads following this issue.
    Sometimes it seems getting better, but hours later the same isues occured again. Watching content on this enviroment is a real pain and very frustrating.
    As many others I'm now convinced that the latest update of iTunes caused this problem.
    Our family enviroment contains the following Apple products:
    - iTunes on a Win7 32 bit Noname PC (all content)
    - second iTunes on a iMac with OS 10.6.8 (all content)
    - third iTunes on a MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.8 (daughter, only selected content)
    - fourth iTunes on a Win7 32 Samsung Notebook (son, only selected content)
    - all iTunes sharing the same Home Sharing ID
    - 2 Apple TV second generation
    - 1 Apple TV first generation
    - 2 iPod touch (bought last year)
    - 2 iPads (second generation)
    all firmware or software are on latest available patchlevel.
    At this moment, I can not recomend to others to buy this products.
    I will drop this feedback everytime my famiily and I facing this problem... just to help you to get a better feeling of the urgency of this issue.
