Ever since the update if I'm listen to my music and go to text and the autocorrect voice comes on it shuts my music off when it use to just lower my music while the voice over spoke then the music would go right on playing. Any solutions to this?
With the new ios 7 system on my iphone every time I listen to music and text or type something a the autocorrect VoiceOver comes on and shuts off my music and on the old system the music would lower the autocorrection would b spoke and then the music would continue. Is there any solution to this problem?
Never mind I figured it out. The best way is to go into settings>General>accessibility and under vision turn speak auto-text off. That way if u r listening to something and typing it still gives u the autocorrect option it just won't speak it so u won't have to keep going back into whatever u r listening to and turning it back on. Try the advice here. I had the same problem and it worked for me.
You have to delete the "SC Info" folder from /Users/Shared. You will have to use Terminal to enable you to see this folder first. Make sure iTunes is not running when you delete the "SC Info" folder
There is an article from Apple on this here. The "SC Info" folder contains iTunes authorization information.
I did this two weeks ago and iTunes accepted by login. I haven't been asked for my AppleID or password since. -
Ever since I updated my iphone3 to ios 6, I am unable to make purchases on itunes or Apps. I click onto what I want and it appears on my home screen but justs keeps saying waiting. Does anybody know what to do to rectify it.

Thanks for your response, I forgot to add that the five 3uk sims we have in use, I have tried all of them none of them are recongnised non of them have pin codes, I even purchased four more sims Tmobile (original carrier) Vodaphone, 3 and giffgaff. -
I hate updating my iphone now. its like playing Russian roulette. its a 50/50% chance it will work fine or something like this will happen. im sure im not the only one having this problem. if not, please someone through me a bone. i have tried every possible thing and honestly im tired of looking at my phone and the computer screen. someone HELP PLEASE.

Ever since I updated what looked like iTunes 10.6.1 my computer has been corrupted with Malware, which has filled up all available space on my hard drive. What do I do to get rid of the Malware?
First, reboot. That will temporarily free up some space. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB free for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of your data.
Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space.
Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To really see everything, you have to run it as root.
First, back up all data if you haven't already done so. No matter what happens, you should be able to restore your system to the state it was in at the time of that backup.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
After installing ODS in the Applications folder, drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. When you're done with it, quit it and also quit Terminal. -
Ever since I updated InDesign CC (2014) approximately 22 days ago... I CANNOT get the welcome screen to not come on at the launch on InDesign. I set the preferences in InDesign to NOT show the welcome screen upon launch, but it will NOT hold the preferences i choose. Anyone else have any other ideas? I am about to lose my mind... I hate you ADOBE!!!
that s just the problem, that is why my level of frustration is boiling over ... I have told InDesign over and over again "Do Not Show Again" but it will just not hold the settings. It might hold it for a day or so, but then suddenly there it is again on another launch. Very very annoying.

Ever since I updated my iPhone 4S and my iPad 2 to IOS 6 all my iMessages are coming to both my iPhone and my IPad. How do I stop the iMessages I send and receive on my phone from receiving on my iPad as well? I have tried going into my settings and making sure I'm only set up to receive iMessages to my cell number and not my email....but that didn't fix the problem.
Here the way to do it, for both, or for only one Go into your settings, Messages and turn on iMessage. It will then send messages that are iMessages to both your iPad and iPhone. You can also turn off this feature on the iPad if you do not want to receive messages on the iPad.

Ever since I enabled iMessage on my Mac Airbook, I can no longer receive text messages from the iMessage people on my iPhone, only on my iMessage now!! How do I get the messages to reach both iMessage and iPhone??
We are suffering very similar issues when communicating from my iphone to a friend who has both iphone and iPad enabled.
As long as I reply to an existing text chain, then it is visible on the target iphone. If I SMS the phone number, it gets routed to the IPAD!! And NO, I should not have to disable imessage when I want to send an SMS!! -
I have several very important school related documents on my iPad in the Pages app. Ever since i updated to iOS5, i can no longer open any documents in Pages that I made before I updated. Please help
Without the iPad connected, open up iTunes on your computer. Go to iTunes/Preferences/Devices and delete the backups that you're absolutely certain do not have the documents. Refer to figure below.
iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "NO" to creating a backup. (You don't want to create a new backup that does not have the docs.) You will then be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad. This time, say "yes."
Repeat all of the above as required until you get the docs. -
My iphone 5s Bluetooth no longer works in my 2014 honda accord, ever since i updated the software two months ago. Can anyone help?
Problems with Bluetooth connections are generally traced back to the vehicle. If you search here in the forum you will find a number of posts with issues connecting with Honda vehicles. Try removing the phone from the vehicle's list of Bluetooth devices. Then try removing the vehicle from the iPhone's list of Bluetooth devices. Then place both devices back in discovery/pairing mode and try to connect them. You may need to take the device to the dealer to check for software updates.
Next, I understand it used to connect, however software updates for the iPhone will load the latest Bluetooth stack into the phone and vehicles do not always get updated as often. Ever since I updated my OS, the screen on my Mac will automatically become huge if I keep my mouse on the screen. I can't figure out how to return the screen to a normal size. Any help?
Hold down the 'ctrl' key and scroll backwards on the mouse.
Then go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing. Turn off the Zoom feature.
Similarly in Sys Pref > Mouse uncheck the box for 'Zoom using scroll wheel…'
If it still occurs after that there may be a corrupt .plist file. -

There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.<br />
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.<br />
If that "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you anymore and you need to sign in once again.<br />

I have an older ipod...ever since I updated the itunes software my ipod no longer works in my car. my car is a 2013 mercedes E350. Is there a way to go back to an older version of the itunes software?
If it's an older iPod, its software is not being updated by Apple. So, I don't see how updating iTunes would make the iPod not work with the car's audio system, since iTunes just updates the song files (not how the iPod operates).
Does the iPod work by itself (play songs), when disconnected from the computer and iTunes? -

DetailsYou are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
