Every day flagged on calendar

I synced with my Outlook 2003 and now my Iphone calendar has everyday flagged, even if there is nothing on that day.
I have tried to artificially erase the flag, but can't seem to find out a way to clear the flags.
Anyone have any tips?

The problem is with recurring dates. On your calendar (iPhone)click the left arrow (you can hold it down) and find the 1st date that does not have a dot (it could be many years in the past, mine was back on 2003). Then, edit the end date to be the same as the start date (the display shows the end date before the start date). Hope this helps

  • How can I alter a calendar script to place progressive dates on every day in the calendar year?

Is there an easy way either to alter the calendar script or create something that will allow for variable text in each day of the year?
I am creating a calendar for a cattle rancher, and he wants to include a gestation calendar in the design.
So...instead of the Julian date on every caledar day, he would like to include the date that a calf will be born if the cow had been bred on a particular day.  For example:  On the calendar date, January 1, in that box, another smaller date will appear - 10/9, On January 2 - 10/10 and so on. But, I need this progression to continue throughout the whole year.
I have attempted to manually enter each date in a separate table and super impose it over the calendar, but this is very slow and very tedious. There has to be a faster way.
I am comfortable looking at code and can often times figure out which fields to change, but I am a bit lost on this one. Where do I start?
    Please help!
    Thanks!

That helped, but still did not solve the "continous scroll" question.
I did however discover that if you go to Search and type in a "common" letter like "s", a Continuous List view will appear.
Any further help on how to do this as a default view would be appreciated from any and all.
Thanks for the help and for the link paulcb.

  • I added a calendar event to repeat every two weeks, but it repeats every day.

I've added a calendar event to repeat every two weeks, but it repeats every day.  The original event was set up for all Day on Wednesday, Nov 5.  Setting up for a single  day worked fine.  Add the repeat option and select every two weeks...and it shows up every day until the end date.  I've re-booted the phone and tried other start dates.  Same result.  This is in the base iPhone calendar.  No other calendars have been installed.   iPhone 6  iOS 8.0.2.  Any suggestions?

    Found a workaround:
Just change each attribute 1 item at a time.
Create the calendar entry for one day only with no other settings.
Go back in and edit it so that its every two weeks, then leave and confirm this worked.
Open calendar back up and add in the end date.
That's the only way I could get it to accept those settings, one attribute at a time.
Misc. bug I suppose.  I miss the "It just works" days.  Living in silicon valley, the QA engineering buds I have at apple go on rants about the undisclosed/undiscovered but known bugs in ios every time we're having drinks.  From what I hear, internally IOS8/8.1 weren't ready for prime time push just yet.

  • Calendar month view dots on every day...

I seem to have a dot in every day of every month in month view. I have seen pics of other folks who only have dots in the days where there is an event. So I am thinking there is something wrong with my sync.
I downloaded 7.3.1 iTunes, resynced, and even restored. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?

VOILA! Solved it. I was right, it was related to recurring appointments.
I kept going back on my calendar until I found a day that had no dot in it. Then I figured the first empty day that still showed a dot and worked backwards. I found a recurring appointment was causing the problem.
When I opened it up, I noticed that the appointment was from Mon, Feb 5 to Sun, Feb 4. It went BACK in time. It still showed as only one day, and the All Day button was ON. I changed the TO date to Feb 5 (so both FROM and TO matched), saved the appointment, and VOILA! Fixed. However, as I scrolled forward, I noticed dots started showing up in every day in the months from that point forward, and it was still fixed from that point on backwards. It turns out EVERY BIRTHDAY (every yearly recurring appointment) had this glitch. When I fixed a birthday, it fixed all the days between it and the next birthday. When I fixed them all, my Monthly view for ALL months now shows dots on days with events, and no dots on days with no event.
    Sweet!

  • Dots Every Day in Calendar Month View

I have the dots indicating an event on every day of the monthly view in the calendar even though there aren't any events on those dates. I am syncing with Outlook 2003 on Windows XP. I have read through posts here and:
    - Had some birthdays set up in the contacts but removed them
    - Do not have any events where the end time is earlier than the start time
I have tried many different things including turning calendar syncing off, replacing all of the info for calendars, etc. but cannot get it fixed.
Any other suggestions? How can I delete the info on the Calendar. Turning off syncing doesn't do it. Do I need to do a full reset?
    Thanks.

Thanks. Your suggestion did the trick.
I assumed it marked every date in perpetuity with a dot. I went backwards until I found a month without a dot. After a couple of dozen clicks on the back arrow, I realized if I held it down it would go faster.
Went back to 1971 and found an entry for a birth date. The interesting thing is, is that it was in October. November looked fine and then in December, the dots started occurring. Deleted the entry and everything looks good again.
    Thanks.

  • Calendar has marked every day in monthly view

    Hello,
I'm using my (German) 3G with Exchange Active Sync. It works fine except for one problem. The monthly calendar marks a event for every day with the small rectangle. This makes it of course difficult, to identify a day where a event exist.
Any idea, how to solve this?

  • TS4118 When I print out my ical calendars, there are three duplicate events happening every day of the week and I never entered this event?

When I print out my calendars from ical, there is one event that is reoccurring 3x/day/every day of week! It is not showing on the actual calendar and I cannot figure out how or where it's coming from? It's in the calendar marked Jimmys action which just shows my sons activities and for this activitiy, I put one day with a recurring weekly on just two days of the week at a specific time and this is showing up as well and correctly? What should I do to remedy this?

UPDATE: I think I found the answer to my problem. I travel between two time zones and recently started listing event times as "floating" so they don't get messed up when I travel between west and east coasts. It seems that when I want to print out a calendar sheet, the time of the event doesn't show up if it's a "floating" event. So, I need to go back to putting a time zone in and turning off "time support" in Preferences for iCal. BTW this (in reverse) is a solution for those who don't want to see appointment times printed out – make it a "floating" event.

  • Accidently created event to repeat every day in Calendar, how to remove?

I was trying to put it every week and instead made it every day, now my calender is filled with a meeting everyday.
Anybody know how i can clean that, or reset my calendar?

Open the calendar event and adjust the recurrence. Or, just delete the event and when prompted select "all future events"

  • Calendar events showing every day

    Hi all,
Recently it seems that when my Calendar app is displaying month view, every day has a little square in it - the one that indicates an event. However, about half of my days have no events at all.
I have repeating events set every eight days for four days (for my four-on four-off shift rotation) but that's about all. I'm sure I remember it used to show correctly, i.e. blocks of four with events and blocks of four without.
    Anyone any ideas what's happened?
    Thanks for reading
    BBz

I have the same problem. With me it is only on the "Birthdays" calendar which was uploaded from iCal to my calendar server before I went with syncing with CalDAV. The daily and list formats do not show anything weird, only the monthly view. I assume it is a problem with a repeating event, but I can't find it.
I've even done a reset and reload from backup of my iPod and it did not help. Next step is probably to delete the Birthday's calendar completely on my server and see if that cures the problem. I am waiting until there is an easy way to restore it on the server.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.

  • Calendar Shows Appointment for Every Day please help

First off, I'm a Microsoft .NET programmer and I LOVE my IPhone, my IPod and my Shuffle!
My IPhone Calendar shows the little "dot" for every day, even when I don't have appointments.
Can someone please help me get the dots off so I can look at my calendar and tell when I have events scheduled?
    Here is my setup:
Outlook 2003 - Not connected to Exchange
    Windows XP Pro
    Thank you!
IBM Compatible   Windows XP Pro   I love my IPhone and IPod and Shuffle!

When I click on the day it says "No Events".
I have people's birthday's that occur every year if that's what you mean by reoccurring, but who doesn't have that in their calendar?
I can take the date back to 1997 to way before I started entering appointments and it still shows the "dots".
The things I've read explain the "dots" mean I have an appointment on that day.
I appreciate the help so far. Solving this would be a great improvement for my calendar!
    Thank you for your time.

  • Team Calendar Iview showing all employees absent for every day?

    Hi All,
We're using r/3 4.7, ESS 50.4 and MSS 60.1.20.  The team calendar displays with all employees absent for every day.  Clearly, this is not correct.
Is there extra config to be done or something that we are missing?

It is a countdown calendar that I would like to know options

    Hi
Interesting Problem, First I would suggest you set a constant
variable (in date format) as your start number, then using a second
variable to get the users timezone data. You can extrapulate the
day/month/year content against your start variable (in date format)
leaving you with a number that equates to days remaining.
When ever the page is refreshed or reloaded the number is
always calculated, and covers any time zone around the world.

  • 'periods' show for every day in calendar??

I got Outlook 2007 and successfully synced my calendar. However, on my iPhone there is now a 'period' on every day, even when there is nothing scheduled for that day. I'm using Vista Home Premium and the calendar looks fine on my pc. Any ideas how to remove all the 'period(s)' from my iPhone calendar??

The problem is with recurring dates. On your calendar (iPhone)click the left arrow (you can hold it down) and find the 1st date that does not have a dot (it could be many years in the past, mine was back on 2003). Then, edit the end date to be the same as the start date (the display shows the end date before the start date). Hope this helps

  • I have several recuring alarms set up on my calendar for each day of the week. In the past few weeks, an alarm will occasionaly notify me roughly 15 minutes to an hour and a half late. These daily alarms are identical and repeat every day.

I have several recuring alarms set up on iCal for each day of the week. In the past few weeks, an alarm will occasionaly notify me roughly 15 minutes to an hour and a half late. These daily alarms are identical and repeat every day and there seems to be no apparent pattern to why or when an alarm happens after the event is past.

I assume you meant iCal rather than iTunes? Yes, iCal the time zone is correct. The delayed alarms only happen sporadically. Since I posted this message, the problem stopped happening every day at the same time, but it still happens occasionally with no rhyme or reason as to when. It's gotten so that I can't depend on my iCal alarms anymore.

  • Mac Pro turns itself on every day at the same time

My Mac Pro suddenly decided to start turning itself on every day at 6:00:12pm local time (12:00:12AM GMT). It turns on at exactly 12 seconds after 6:00pm every day.
I recently upgraded to OSX 10.5 and installed the point update. It did it before the point update and continues to after the point update.
I have had it since April and it has never done this before. It did NOT do this under 10.4.
I have the options in system settings to NOT wake on LAN event and NOT restart after power failure. It is NOT set to automatically turn on but it is set to automatically turn itself off at 1:00am.
These settings have not changed since 10.4 and I have verified them. No other software has recently been installed since the update to 10.5. I did update the Wacom driver to the new Leopard driver. That is all. I have the Wacom tablet unplugged from the computer.
    Any ideas?

Updates installed by Software Update are "delta" updates - they go from 10.x.y to 10.x.y+1, and are customized for a particular Mac model. It appears that in this case they also patch some files instead of replacing them fully. The "combo" update will update 10.x.anything to the latest 10.x.y, it'll update any Mac model, and in this case it appears they contain full files instead of patches. The delta updater for 10.5.1 is about 39 MB; the combo updater is about 110 MB. You can download the combo updater from the Support site. Sites such as www.macfixit.com often recommend installing the combo updater instead of, or after, the delta updater, as it often solves mysterious problems. One specific example is the numerous "SUID" messages when doing a "repair permissions" - the combo update gets rid of all but one, and that one is specifically stated by Apple to be okay. Of course, no guarantees, but the combo updater is a reasonable thing to try.
