Every day in calender is marked as if there is an event?
Hello from Germany,
since I created recuring events for all birthdays of friends and family in Outlook 2003, in calender every day is marked with this dot, even when there is no event?
Thanks
Hi,
I have also had this problem. It seems to occur when an all day event is entered into the calendar and the time goes over into the following day. If you check through your entries and look for one that does this and edit it, it should remove the extra dots.

Calendar has marked every day in monthly view
Hello,
I'm using my (German) 3G with Exchange Active Sync. It works fine except for one problem. The monthly calendar marks a event for every day with the small rectangle. This makes it of course difficult, to identify a day where a event exist.
Any idea, how to solve this?

Just to bring it up again, here you can see a screenshot:

Dots Every Day in Calendar Month View
I have the dots indicating an event on every day of the monthly view in the calendar even though there aren't any events on those dates. I am syncing with Outlook 2003 on Windows XP. I have read through posts here and:
- Had some birthdays set up in the contacts but removed them
- Do not have any events where the end time is earlier than the start time
I have tried many different things including turning calendar syncing off, replacing all of the info for calendars, etc. but cannot get it fixed.
Any other suggestions? How can I delete the info on the Calendar. Turning off syncing doesn't do it. Do I need to do a full reset?
Thanks.Thanks. Your suggestion did the trick.
I assumed it marked every date in perpetuity with a dot. I went backwards until I found a month without a dot. After a couple of dozen clicks on the back arrow, I realized if I held it down it would go faster.
Went back to 1971 and found an entry for a birth date. The interesting thing is, is that it was in October. November looked fine and then in December, the dots started occurring. Deleted the entry and everything looks good again.
Thanks. -
my internet service seems to drop out every day. I'll be reading the New York Times online, say, without an issue and when I click to go to page two, I get a "can't connect to the internet" warning. I can go back to pages I've already seen, but anything new -- including frequent sites like gmail and amazon that I visit every day -- won't come up.
Quitting out of the browser and restarting doesn't work and the internet preference pane under system prefs says I just don't have any internet service. I reboot the cable modem, but no success. Only when I reboot the Mac itself am I able to restore service.
I've tried switching browsers (originally a Firefox user, so I went back to Safari) but that didn't work. I tried turning off Google Notifier, the only updated software I've installed in the past couple of weeks since I started having this problem, and that didn't work.
If I reboot, it comes back without a hitch and everything works just fine. I don't have to reboot the cable modem, even, I just reboot the Mac. Which seems to indicate it's a Mac problem and not with Road Runner.
I've also tried the fix suggested in this forum of removing com.apple.systempreferences.plist and rebooting, but that didn't work either. (which is to say, the rebooting worked but now I still have the problem back again, so it didn't seem to solve the issue).
Any suggestions here? It's quite annoying, as you might expect.
thanks in advance,
Mark
1.42 ghz G4 mac mini / 512m ram Mac OS X (10.4.8)no, it's a Toshiba cable modem. I don't lose any of the lights on the modem when this happens, and if I don't touch the modem and just restart the Mac, internet service immediately comes right back.
Conversely, leaving the computer alone and restarting the cable modem (which I used to have to do once a week with my old Linksys wireless router/AP) doesn't solve the problem.
I fear that deep in the bowels of my Mac a tiny process imp wakes up from its ghoulish slumbers and fiddles with some setting or other, leaving the Mac unable to talk to the modem. It then cackles fendishly and goes back to sleep and only a restoration of original settings will make things right again.
I've set up a generic user to test out BDAqua's theory; we'll see what happens. Thanks for all your input so far gents! -
How to calculate revenue vs taget in obiee11g (running every day)
hallo masters,
i have problem,
i have target in 1 year (january until dec) e.g 1000
and then there is revenue every day that calculate until reach 1 year
how can i calculate revenue vs target current day (i only have 1 year target, not target daily or monthly)
and how i can calculate persentage of revenue based on target
revenue 1jan2013 until 25march2013 | target 1jan2013 until 25march2013 | %target | % revenue base on target
and i need to know if % revenue less than target, then mark red
and that calculate every year (runnig revenue and running target)
please help mee
Edited by: xavier_obieenewbie on Mar 25, 2013 2:35 AMwhether this KPI can change every day base on target and revenue?
because we need running target, it means that target every day increase
target 1jan2012: target 1 year /356
target upto 2jan2012: (target 1 year /356)*2
target upto 3jan2012: (target 1 year /356)*3
target upto 4jan2012: (target 1 year /356)*4
...etc
revenue 1jan2012: a1
revenue upto 2jan2012: a1+a2
revenue upto 3jan2012: a1+a2+a3
revenue upto 4jan2012: a1+a2+a3+a4
...etc
e.g. this day is 4jan2012
so we want to compare revenue upto 4jan2012 vs target upto 4jan2012
whether revenue more than or less tahn target,
its running every day -
Database auto restart at 2:00 AM every day
Hi,
I've installed 10.2.0.2.0 database in Windows 2000 Server.
Now it restarts automatically at 2:00 AM every day.
I've checked OS, there is no JOB run at 2:00 AM, and event viewer look normal at 2:00 AM.
When it restarts, sometimes it would restart successfully, sometimes it wouldn't(mounted, not open).
Here is the alert log.

When I print out my calendars from ical, there is one event that is reoccurring 3x/day/every day of week! It is not showing on the actual calendar and I cannot figure out how or where it's coming from? It's in the calendar marked Jimmys action which just shows my sons activities and for this activitiy, I put one day with a recurring weekly on just two days of the week at a specific time and this is showing up as well and correctly? What should I do to remedy this?
UPDATE: I think I found the answer to my problem. I travel between two time zones and recently started listing event times as "floating" so they don't get messed up when I travel between west and east coasts. It seems that when I want to print out a calendar sheet, the time of the event doesn't show up if it's a "floating" event. So, I need to go back to putting a time zone in and turning off "time support" in Preferences for iCal. BTW this (in reverse) is a solution for those who don't want to see appointment times printed out – make it a "floating" event.

Accidently created event to repeat every day in Calendar, how to remove?
I was trying to put it every week and instead made it every day, now my calender is filled with a meeting everyday.
Anybody know how i can clean that, or reset my calendar?Open the calendar event and adjust the recurrence. Or, just delete the event and when prompted select "all future events"

Should i shut down my computer every day
Should i shut down my hp desktop computer every day or leave it running
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hi,
The following article may help you to make decision:
http://lifehacker.com/5940176/is-it-bad-to-shutdown-my-computer-regularly-or-leave-it-on-all-the-tim...
My experiences: there are many computer equipments have been running 10 or even 20 years continuously and now no one is willing to turn them off because they may never turn on again. Just ask someone who has few FEP's (Front End Processor) running now.
Regards.

Receiving same email every day
I am having a strange recurring email. At first it was only happening once a
year so it was no big deal. Over the last few months it has been happening
daily. I am getting an email via LinkedIn that someone has given me a recommendaion on my Blackberry every day. It appears to be sent to my yahoo email, but is not showing up in my yahoo inbox.
It is only showing up on my Blackberry. I have contacted LinkedIn and they say
it is not coming from them. I contacted Synnex, (the company apparently sending the email) and they said it is not coming
from them. The fact that it is only showing up on my Blackberry indicates it is
something on the BB servers.Even your authentic email does not come from "BlackBerry servers".
BlackBerry servers ONLY "look" at your Yahoo email servers to check for new messages and then "push" those messages to your BlackBerry. BlackBerry servers don't create mail.
Is this Yahoo account your only email account pushed to your BlackBerry?
At the top of the email you will see a "received using" line... what does it say?
Have you checked your yahoo spam folder?
In your LinkedIn profile, do you show any new messages or "recommendations"?
Why don't you just flag this email in question as spam or place a filter on it to go to spam or block further messages?

Every day I get a new fax from Epicurean and I didn't sign up for them. When I got on the printer to turn them off, it forced me here, where I had to give all my vital info. Please help me turn this garbage off. It's wasting my ink.
Hello chrisludwa.
In this link, you will find a number of links in the left side, one of them is "Managing Scheduled Delivery Apps". You'll find there information about how to cancel or finish the subscription to the app you want.
Cheers!

Mac Pro turns itself on every day at the same time
My Mac Pro suddenly decided to start turning itself on every day at 6:00:12pm local time (12:00:12AM GMT). It turns on at exactly 12 seconds after 6:00pm every day.
I recently upgraded to OSX 10.5 and installed the point update. It did it before the point update and continues to after the point update.
I have had it since April and it has never done this before. It did NOT do this under 10.4.
I have the options in system settings to NOT wake on LAN event and NOT restart after power failure. It is NOT set to automatically turn on but it is set to automatically turn itself off at 1:00am.
These settings have not changed since 10.4 and I have verified them. No other software has recently been installed since the update to 10.5. I did update the Wacom driver to the new Leopard driver. That is all. I have the Wacom tablet unplugged from the computer.
Any ideas?
Here is the console log from yesterday. It pretty much looks the same every day.

Nov 18 18:00:34 MacPro Parallels[129]: Initialization complete.Updates installed by Software Update are "delta" updates - they go from 10.x.y to 10.x.y+1, and are customized for a particular Mac model. It appears that in this case they also patch some files instead of replacing them fully. The "combo" update will update 10.x.anything to the latest 10.x.y, it'll update any Mac model, and in this case it appears they contain full files instead of patches. The delta updater for 10.5.1 is about 39 MB; the combo updater is about 110 MB. You can download the combo updater from the Support site. Sites such as www.macfixit.com often recommend installing the combo updater instead of, or after, the delta updater, as it often solves mysterious problems. One specific example is the numerous "SUID" messages when doing a "repair permissions" - the combo update gets rid of all but one, and that one is specifically stated by Apple to be okay. Of course, no guarantees, but the combo updater is a reasonable thing to try.

HUGE amount of data in flat file every day to external system
Hello,
i have to develop several programs to export all tables data in a flat file for external system ( EG. WEB).
I have some worries like if is possible by SAP export all KNA1 data that contains a lot of data in a flat file using the extraction:
SELECT * FROM KNA1 ITO TABLE TB_KNA1.
I need some advices about these kind of huge extractions.
I also have to extract from some tables, only the data changes, new record, and deleted records; to do this I thought of developing a program that every day extract all data from MARA and save the extraction in a custom table like MARA; the next day when the programs runs compare all data of the new extraction with the old extraction in the ZMARA table to understand the datachanges, new records or deleted record.. It's a righ approach? Can have problems with performance? Do you now other methods?
Thanks a lot!
Byeyou should not have a problem with this simple approach, transferring each row to the output file rather than reading all data into an internal table first:
open dataset <file> ...
select * from kna1 into wa_kna1
transfer wa_kna1 to <file>
endselect
close dataset <file>
