Every Firefox action works, but brings up a window saying "A javascript error has occurred."

for several months now, every Firefox action works but brings up an error message, "A Java script error has occurred." I cancel out the error messages (two identical error messages show up each time) and Firefox continues to work normally.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

When you go to the download page, you must do two things:
Download this file: PhSp_CS2_English.exe on the download page.
Use the serial number on the download page in order to install your non-activation copy.
Do not use your old CD or serial number. It no longer works.
If you have Windows 7, the advice is to turn off UAC and run the installer as Administrator.

Try deleting the cache associated wi the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore
Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Try the App Store.

I have not heard of anyone being charged for this at an Apple Store.
If it was through an Apple Authorised Service Provider I am sure you will be able to convince them that they missed the end of the job.
(I have not seen any posts saying anyone has had issues using this route, but there are less of them)

I've recived two iTunes gift cards for the holidays from a family friend in the mail.

it need to call another windows application , so i google and then find i need to add -target native when package , so i added.

after run this bat , the air file is successfully built , but when i want to install this air , it says "sorry ,an error has occured ..... bla bla installer file is damaged....bla bla "
but when i remove the red part -target native in the command above then run it again , the new packaged air file can install successfully, but the application can not call other windows apllication anymore, nativeprocess.issupported always returns false when running

Nice! I swear I tried that URL (substituting "mac" for "win" and "MAC" for "WIN" in the one relaxatraja posted), but I guess I missed something.
Ironically, it doesn't include a binary either, but a simple alias works:
alias pfi='java -jar /path/to/PFI/lib/pfi.jar'
And it did indeed produce an ipa without error. I don't have my hardware with me, but I'll be able to test it tonight. Meanwhile, I think I'm in business. Thank you all!

Action works, but droplet doesn't-CS4

Create a droplet that will reduce quality of jpg image to reduce file size for e-mailing:
I had created actions and droplets in Photoshop 7 & CS2 without problems.
Using Photoshop CS4 11.0
Folders:
D:\Storage\convert
Source Dir D:\Storage\convert\jpg2
Output Dir D:\Storage\convert\raw2
Create a set called custom in the actions palette, by clicking on the create set icon on the bottom.
Select the set.
Click on the create action icon on the bottom.
In the next dialogue, enter the name of the action: reduce image to medium quality
Set: custom. Use the rest of the defaults. Click record.
File, Save as, use the default folder and file name. Click save
In the image quality window, select baseline optimized, 5-medium., ok
In the actions palette, click the stop recording icon. Your action is created!!
Create the droplet:
File, automation, create droplet
Save droplet in: click choose
Enter the path: D:\Storage\convert
Filename: reduce image to medium quality.exe
Play:
Set: custom
Action: the one you just created – reduce image to medium quality
Check suppress color profile warnings
Destination: select folder
Click choose:
Select the correct path to save files in – eg D:\Storage\convert\raw2
Check Override Actions “Save As” commands
File naming
Document name + extension
Starting serial #: 1 (default)
Compatibility: Windows (default)
Errors: Stop for errors
Click OK
Note: the source folder is not important, since it is not selected anywhere!! Put it in convert for convenience.
To execute the droplet:
Have the version of Photoshop running that you created the action for ie CS2.
Copy the files to be acted on into the source folder eg (D:\Storage\convert\jpg2). Make sure it and the destination folder is empty before starting!!
Drag the source folder on top of the droplet
It will load one file at a time in Photoshop and do the required action. It will save one file at a time into the jpg images folder.
My action works but my droplet doesn’t. Windows Vista SP2 says the droplet has stopped working. If I change the droplet to create a log file, It doesn’t create the log file either. I checked what’s in the patch for CS4 11.0.2, I don’t see anything that fixes this problem.

Check the IP Address on a Computer :
Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt...A black box will appear(Command Prompt)...In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig and press 'Enter'...Look for Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway...
IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1)...
If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...If it gives you request timed out then disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer...
If you get 4 replies then type ping 4.2.2.2 and press Enter, if you get request timed out, then you need to upgrade your router's firmware...If you get 4 replies then type ping yahoo.com and press Enter...If you get replies then you should get the Internet after adjusting the browser settings...
If not do the browser settings : Open an IE, click Tools >> Internet Options, then delete all files, cookies, history, forms...Goto "Connections", make sure Never Dial a Connection is checked, click on LAN Settings and make sure all the options are unchecked...Once you are done click on O.k...Close the IE and re-open it...
If yahoo times out then provide static DNS on your Wireless Connection...
Click on the Start button >>> Settings >>> Control Panel >>>Network Connections- Right click on the icon for Local area connection and go to properties- On the 'General' tab select 'Internet Protocol TCP/IP' and click on the Properties button- Select 'Use the Following DNS Settings' Preferred DNS 4.2.2.2 Alternate DNS - 192.168.1.1>>Click on Ok button to Save and Click on "Close" on main Properties window...You should be able to go online...

Ok.. try restarting your Mac.
If that doesn't help, temporarily disable anti virus software.
Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent access to the App Store as well as third party download managers.
Try installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
That will reinstall the App Store for you which may help. It's ok to do this even though you already have v10.6.8 installled.
