Every morning receive Event Source MSExchange Common ID 4999
Every morning at 2/2/2012 2:06:02 AM
for weeks now we receive Event Source MSExchange Common ID
SBS 2011
Standard – Exchange 2010 => build 14.01.0355.002 (Update Rollup 6 for Exchange Server 2010 SP1)
Event Details:
Watson report about to be sent for process id: 12000, with parameters: E12, c-buddy-RTL-AMD64, 14.01.0355.001, BPA, M.E.Data.Directory, M.E.D.D.DSAccessTopologyProvider..ctor, S.IO.FileLoadException, 72f, 14.01.0355.001. ErrorReportingEnabled:
False
This is an Intel machine so we are not sure why there is “AMD64” in the details - This Event does not seem to cause any problem that we can detect.
Anyone tried
- Exchange Server 2010 SP2 December 4, 2011 Build 14.2.247.6 on a SBS2011 Standard yet? -
Since one of the KB articles – I found says -

Based on my research, the issue can be resolved by removing and re-creating all Exchange performance counters:
add-pssnapin Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Setup
$files=get-childitem “C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Setup\Perf\" *.xml |where-object {!($_.psiscontainer)}
foreach ($file in $files) {remove-perfcounters -definitionfilename $file.fullname}
foreach ($file in $files) {new-perfcounters -definitionfilename $file.fullname}
For more information, you can refer to the following thread:

If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks,

Installing Exchange 2013 SP1 - Errors MSExchange ADAccess & MSExchange Common
The topology first:
AD-server + Exchange-server
What I am trying to do is just install a full version of Exchange 2013 sp1.
But the problem is that install wizard freezes on the "initializing setup" page. Also eventviewer gives 2 different error messages, MSExchange ADAccess & MSExchange Common.

I deleted all the health mailboxes and re-created them according to one of the aricle but no use.
Can anyone please help me how to resolve the issue?

Event ID 8365, app log error, source MSExchangeAL
I had this error show up in my app log early this morning:
Event ID 8365, source MSExchangeAL, text "Could not read the Security Descriptor from the Exchange Server object with guid=B661C17D309B914BB1AC85C1CFF9ADD8. As a result the Proxy Address Calculation RPC interface will not be available on the local Exchange Server."
I'm not sure if I should be concerned about this or not. I only have one Exchange Server, and it has a different guid. It's possible that the above-referenced guid belongs to the old Exchange 2003 server I migrated from and subsequently decommissioned, but I can't tell because that object doesn't exist in AD anymore (at least as far as I can tell). Is there a way to search for a guid and find out what object it's attached to?I'm getting an event ID 8365 error in the app log on my Win Server 2008 R2 Std Edition server running Exchange Server 2010 Standard Edition. The Exchange organization was migrated from Exchange 2003, and the 2003 server has since been decommissioned.
The source for this error is MSExchangeAL, and the text associated with it is "Could not read the Security Descriptor from the Exchange Server object with guid=B661C17D309B914BB1AC85C1CFF9ADD8. As a result the Proxy Address Calculation RPC interface will
not be available on the local Exchange Server." The error occurs every few days, sometimes a couple times in one day, but I haven't discerned a pattern yet. I'd love to find out what that guid refers to, but can't figure out how to look that up,
so if anyone can enlighten me about that, I think that'd help. Of course, a solution to the whole issue would be great too. Thanks. -

Watson report about to be sent for process id: 7960, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, 14.03.0224.001, AirSync, MSExchange ActiveSync, Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.GlobalObjectId.IsForeignUid, UnexpectedCondition:NullReferenceException, 54b1, 14.03.0224.001.
ErrorReportingEnabled: False
Any ideas?
PS
It's not kb2665115, no ( ) : in database names.
Dario PalermoHi Dario,
Thank you for your question.
There are some reasons which caused event id 4999, for example hid resource mailboxes, the corrupt calendar item.
We could refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
If there are some resource mailboxes which are hid, we could unhidden unhide them, then we could restart IIS and check if there are event id 4999
We could refer to the following link to check if there are any the corrupt calendar item via
Calcheck, we could remove or repair the corrupt calendar item: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webdav_101/archive/2012/02/28/how-to-check-for-calendar-corruption.aspx
If the event id persist, I suggest we could update Exchange 2010 to CU8 v2 by the following link, because Exchange 2010 CU8 v1 has been recalled:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45225
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
Best Regard,

Event ID 106 error MSExchange Common: Performance counter updating error
I'm running Exchange Server 2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2, and each time I start the server I get an error event, ID 106, logged in the Application Log. The source is MSExchange Common and the text is:
Performance counter updating error. Counter name is Current Requests Pending, category name is MSExchange LiveIdBasicAuthentication [also MSExchangeRemotePowershell, . Optional code: 2. Exception: The exception thrown is : System.InvalidOperationException:
The requested Performance Counter is not a custom counter, it has to be initialized as ReadOnly
I used a PowerShell script to reload all the performance counters, and it seemed to work for nearly all 217 .xml files in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Setup\Perf. But I still get the error when I restart the server. Any
ideas on how to fix this, what it means, or if it's safe to ignore are welcome.
Thanks!Hi,
Please try to remove and re-create all Exchange performance counters with the following command:
add-pssnapin Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.Setup
$files=get-childitem “C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\Setup\Perf\" *.xml |where-object {!($_.psiscontainer)}
foreach ($file in $files) {remove-perfcounters -definitionfilename $file.fullname}
foreach ($file in $files) {new-perfcounters -definitionfilename $file.fullname}
If it doesn’t work, please check this KB.

Cannot Receive Calls and Text Every Morning! Pls Help!!
Hi all,
I am new here. I registered cus i am facing irritating problem with the phone. I dunno if anyone else is facing the same problem.
I cannot receive any calls or sms everyday morning.
My friends told me that it went directly to the voicemail.
However everything back to normal when i make a call out from my phone (basically just need to dail out a number, ppl dun even have to pick up the call!), and it will receive the sms that it missed immediately.
Actually I noticed the fact is that if i dun touch my phone for more than 3 or 4 hours, it went automatically to 'sleep', and it stop receiving calls.....
So now i have to call my landline every morning to active the phone which is so annoying! And my friends went mad too cus they couldn't find me as i was like disappeared.
I don't think its the problem with my carrier cus it all went fine until i updated it in Jan. Its now v5.0.0832.
I have searched other forums and there are some ppl having the similar problem, some said its cus of the "do not disturb" setting, but its no longer exist. So the problem is still unsolved for many others.
Not sure if os 6 is gonna fix it cus there is one personsaid that he still has the prolem although he updated it to 6.
Please please please! Can anyone help me??!! otherwise i may have to get a new phone, i am a bit regret now, i should have bought a iphone4 instead of bb!This is something you should bring up with your wireless service provider.
Cheers, -

Every morning my iPhone 4S doesn't receives calls until that i do one.
Every morning my iPhone 4S doesn't receives calls until that i do one. I changed to a new iPhone, six times! But the problem persists... This is happening or has happened with someone?
Cause my girlfriend and some clients call me in the morning and when they call me to another number, they warn me... Maybe the problem occurs when it's in standby too much time...

I have a 32gb iPhone5, and every morning without fail, after updating to iOS8, my messages won't send, the message app crashes and won't respond, and then when it finally seems to, the whole thing is blank (as in no messages from anyone show up and the messages screen is just blank). The only way I've found to fix it is to turn off and on my phone and it works for another ~24 hours.
Is anyone else having this problem??Hey Dr_Westopher,
Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are having difficulty with iMessage. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages

Event 2193, MSExchange ADAccess
Hi,
After updating our Exchange 2013 SP1 servers to CU6 we get a lot of these errors in the Application log on them. All our DCs except two that is on the same site as the Exchange servers, is in the error messages. It is a bit random in time but each
DC gives an error about every 25 minutes on both Exchange servers. Any idea?
Event Id: 2193
Source: MSExchange ADAccess

From your description, I recommend you use the Dcdiag to check your DC health at first and verify if there is any issue with the DCs.
Here is an article about Dcdiag for your reference.

BBM & Email stop working every morning....
Every morning my BBM, Whatsapp, Email and Facebook notifications stop working....
BBM has a red clock when sending and doesn't receive and the others don't receive or send anything...
The only fix has been pulling the battery or doing a soft reset with ctrl+alt+delete.
I have tried reinstalling the apps, reinstalling the OS (don't know how to format and reinstall tho)
Can anyone give me some solutions? Does it sound like a hardware problem?
My phone is a brand new out the box Blackberry Curve 8520, its got an etisalat sim card as I live in Dubai if that matters.Cat and Maximo,

Yes. That's what it looks like.

Everyone browsing via BM proxy continues with no interuption.
The mail server can telnet to any other server on the internal LAN but
nothing past BM. DNS continues working for the mail server too.
> If really nothing changed, this might be a (succesful) DOS attack of

Do you mean port scan the BM server?
I know that "nothing has changed" is a loaded statement. The only thing
(that I know of) that has changed relatively recently is the addition of
the Squid server. It has been running behind the BM server for about 3
weeks. Recently I added a filter exception allowing the Squid server to
access higher ports (dyn/tcp).
But, as I noted before, I think removing ipflt should eliminate any
doubts there. Is there some way Squid could be corrupting something there?
The problem was compounded this morning (saturday). I came in today so I
would have the network essentially to myself. But, to my surprise,
everything was ok.
Cat, You're right. This server is no spring chicken. It is an IBM
Netfinity 3000. Its probably 3 or 4 years old (maybe more). I will think
about this as a hardware problem but I just wish the thing would die
altogether and get it over with. :o)
Thanks,
Brian
