Every single time I power up photoshop CC get an error. says " the monitor profile "acer S201HL" appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software. How do I fix this?

Your factory-supplied monitor profile, associated with your monitor by the operating system, is bad. It's more common than you'd think.
To avert the error:
Open the Color Management panel of your Windows operating system. In the Devices tab, if it is not already listed [ Add... ] the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile and [ Set as default Profile ].
After doing the above, log out of Windows and back in again, just to ensure everything's updated.
Note that the above assumes your monitor is more or less displaying color in the sRGB color space (sRGB is short for sRGB IEC61966-2.1). For many monitors this isn't a terribly wrong assumption.
If you want to ensure you have the most accurate color, consider buying a calibration and profiling device, which (with its associated software) can set your calibration and generate custom color profiles by doing actual measurements from your monitor. You'll want to take some time to get your mind around how color-management works, and that is not a trivial task. It's certainly well beyond what can be taught in a forum post by post.

Stock standard issue.. asked 5-10 times per day here.. look at "more like this" on the right.
Simply reboot the TC ie pull out the power. .count to 10.. plug the power back in.

I have seen users reporting on the forum that there download is not working anf stucking up at 99% but when they try it out again say after a day or two then the issue gets resolved, I believe in the mean time the store team/web team fixed that issue. Did you tried it again? Any success?

You may the sort set to Custom. Click the dropdown menu on the toolbar (to the right of the word sort) and change to capture time.
If you can’t see the toolbar above the filmstrip press the T key. Press T again to hide.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. The blinking/refreshing ONLY occurs on the main window that I am looking at, the other windows are normal.

Try deleting the /Home/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist file then relaunch the Finder.

How to have sudo prompts passwd every single time?

So it seems a pre-defined set of timer kicks in when a sudo passwd is input because I can manipulate files in the root space w/o being prompted anymore or even when I quit Terminal.
My question is how can I set this timer, (assuming there is one and I'm just guessing here) to null so that I get prompted for sudo password every single time without exception?

You may also want to rethink setting the timer so you get prompted every single time. If you are doing a series of commands it will be very annoying and distracting to have to enter your password each time.
!5 secs or so is a good compromise.
BTW why do you want to be prompted each and every time? It sounds like something is not right in your setup. Sudo shouldn't act like you describe out of the box.

I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I installed Office 2013 Professional Plus 64 bit. I dont have any older versions of office. I downloaded and installed power query 64 bit. I start excel, click on power query tab and select any option, excel crashes
and closes, every single time.
The event viewer says "Excel is running into problems with "microsoft power query for excel" add-in If it keeps happening disable this add in and check for updates.

It should be the latest version of Power Query. Make sure there is no old version of power Query installed in your computer.And what happens if you reinstall Power Query add-in or repair your office program?
Also Microsoft Power Query for Excel requires Internet Explorer 9 or greater.

Bootcamp Freezes Every Single Time Partitioning

Can't seem to find a solution to this.
I am using the latest version of Bootcamp Assistant in 10.9.4 on a late 2012 iMac with a 3TB Fusion drive. Everything I've read says this drive is now supported for a Bootcamp partition.
Yet every time I do it, it starts all ok, finds Windows disc etc etc, then the partitioning process gets about 1/5 of the way through (just under the t in partitioning) and then freezes. The whole iMac runs slow as ****, Bootcamp Assistant can't be quit etc etc. The only thing to do is to hard turn it off with the power button, then run a repair disk in recovery to regain lost disk space. I have done this four times now. I have left the machine up to four hours and it doesn't progress the bar at all. Same place every single time.
Does anyone have any ideas as it's doing my head in. Unfortunately I need to test a few things in Windows for a client job and I need Bootcamp for it as it needs to run Direct X 11. Up until now I've been fine with Parallels. Incredibly frustrating.

Two things...
• Get rid if this preference.plist file in your /Library/Preferences folder:
com.microsoft.Word.plist
• Check/validate all fonts with Apple's Font Book (look in the Applications folder). Find and remove duplicates as well.
Start there to be sure all fonts that are in play come out with a clean bill of health.
Also, don't hesisate to perform wholesale deletion of old and/or little used fonts - be skeptical of anything that has come from Office 2008, including those related to an Equation Editor installation.
