Every time i connect my iPhone 4 to any outlet in never goes past the apple sign, I've tried turning it on regularly but nothing at all happens unless i connect it to my laptop but again it won't go farther than the apple. it IS fully charged.

hi, have you tried a hard reset, remove the sim card, wait a few minutes, re-insert the sim card and power back on?
alternatively does itunes still recognise the device, can you do a system restore?

Every time I sync my iPhone 4 with iTunes the number of my custom ring tones change. I have 7 custom ring tones listed. The first time it will load 1 of the ring tones and the next time it will load 3, The next time it will be back to 1. If I have assigned one of the custom ring tones and it does not get loaded it goes back to the ring tone that came with the phone. The last time itunes gave me 4 of the 7 so I have not tried to sync it again. I am using iTunes 10 (10.4.10), and windows 7.
Has anyone else had this problem??
Any ideas to what I need to do??Have you ever had all 7 of them synced before? Are these ringtones you made yourself? Is there a chance they could exceed 30 seconds in length? Is there a chance you have moved the original file location on the computer? May need the answers to a couple more questions to try and determine an answer.

Help! I have to keep entering my wifi WEP password every time I slide my iphone 4S on again. It doesn't store the password as it should.
The use of WEP is not recommended for compatibility, reliability, performance, and security reasons; WEP is insecure and functionally obsolete. Any reason you're using WEP? I ask, because you might as well not have any security at all, & this is most likely your issue.

Every time I sync my iPhone 4S or iPad 1 with iTunes I am asked to authorize my computer again knowing that I have 2 Apple accounts and both of them are already authorized.
Tks for your helpPlug your phone up to your computer in itunes... click on devices, then your iphone, at the top of your itunes, beside of summary you will see photos, click on photos... untick or uncheck the albums you don't want on your device then sync... you can do the same for vidoes, music etc...

Every time I touch my Iphone 4s a box appears around whatever I touch and Siri tells me what I am touching and I have to double tap it to bring the app up. It also won't let me scroll up or down and scrolling sideways is difficult.

Since I upgraded to OS X 10.8 my Canon MP480 printer scanner prints OK but the Solutions Menu icon for scanning is crashing every time I try to scan. Any solutions?
I had to contact Canon Tech Support and had to re load the driver softwear using the OS X 10.7 choice, since the 10.8 choice is not there yet. Also had to download the opener and after 45 minutes I had solved the problem. The steps are too many to go into all the details but that is the genral idea. It should work for others.

Pages app unexpectedly quit whilst I was in the middle of a document. I can now not open it AT ALL. I find it's not just that particular document that won't open, but any of my Pages docs will not open using the current version of Pages. The reports of the app unexpectedly closing each time, automatically went to Apple, but I am not sure what happens with them then. Does anyone know how to help me with this? We live in a very isolated region so rely on internet help. Thanks
I also managed to read a few other discussions about Pages and files not being able to open. I actually went to the last back-up and restored the computer from that and everything seemed to work ok again, which is great!...advice from another discussion I think you may have been involved in PeterB. Thanks for the advice...also this advice, as I will make a note of trying to open using the Shift key if it happens again and see what happens...might be an easier first option than restoring from a back-up. Thans heaps for the help!
I was interested to read some of the other discussions where it was stated that Pages '09 seems to be a better option to use. I have both installed, so I will lkeep this in mind. Thanks heaps! -
i can't open "special characters" in any Edit pull down menu. i have a constantly flashing empty window labelled 'characters' that i haven't been able to stop.
it appears every time i click on anything. any suggestions? tru thanxI, too, have found Bridge very unstable. I find this to be extremely disappointing, seeing as it's literally the most expensive piece of software I've ever purchased for personal use. I've seen these two symptoms:
1. When running in full screen mode, Bridge crashes periodically. This happened on Vista, so I blamed Vista (of course), but even after regressing to XP SP2, I see the same symptoms.
2. Although I didn't see this on Vista, running on XP I see the problem described earlier in this thread, where clicking on a thumbnail displays the wrong image preview. When this happens the image displayed is one from a different folder! I solve the problem by clearing the cache, and it's OK for a while, but the problem keeps returning.
3. Even when exiting cleanly from Bridge (using File->Exit), Bridge often forgets where I was working in my previous session. I need to re-navigate from the very top level directory down through the hierarchy to my photo directory.
Again, it's very disappointing to invest so much in a single software package only to see such basic operations malfunction. -

Have managed to cure it based upon the following information received -
I keep having this problem with iTunes when I try to connect my iPod Touch to iTunes. I keep getting this error message: "This iPod cannot be used because the required software is not installed".
What I did:
Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes.
I have already done this required step about a hundred times and I am still getting this same error so if you have any idea of what I can do please help.
Solution
I was running the 64-bit version if iTunes, and I did uninstall and re-install just to make sure -- no luck. Turns out there's a really easy solution, I'll spare you the detail of how I figured it out, but if you encounter the same issue, here's the solution:
1) Using WinRAR (or any other decent archiving program), extract iTunesWindows64Setup.exe
2) Right click on AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi and choose Properties.
3) Switch to the Compatibility tab and check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box, and select your only option, "Previous versions of Windows", in the drop-down box.
4) Click OK
5) Double click the AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi
6) Tell it to Repair your current installation
7) Done! -
I downloaded quick time because i tried watching a movie i purchased on itunes and and have watched it before on my laptop but paused and continued. i tried opening it today and it said i needed to download quicktime and i did. it still says i need to download it, what do I do

Every time I sync my iPhone with iPhoto I end up getting duplicate photos on my iPhone. The other problem is that I can not delete the dups on my iPhone. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.

Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.
Now whether I create a seperate folder within iPhone Photos to store my favourite photos in, or just copy them all into the iPhone Photos folder without being encased within another folder, or create a folder inside the iPod Photo Cache folder the result is the same ...
I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
I am going around in ever decreasing circles here and getting nowhere fast!! -

Every time I sync my Iphone 5c(with ios 8) to Itunes, it 1. deletes all of my purchased music 2. deletes all of my album artwork 3. replaces all of my deleted songs. please help! this is driving me crazy! It syncs 100+ songs, when I only want to sync 1! I'm running Itunes 11.3.1.2
After having experienced similar problems and having it back to work, I have a few suggestions:
- Try to find out if the syncing stops at a particular track or song. That might - out of the blue - have gotten corrupted in one way or another. Since that song will not be on the iPod, iTunes will try over and over to put it on and crash in one way or another;
- reformat the iPod as described in the iTunes 9 crash-thread. It takes time (at first it seems to do nothing, but that is because the green bar is moving with very small steps);
