Every time I go in to Mozill Firefox Internet I have a blank HOME PAGE screen

I can click my HOME icon and it takes me to my home page (comcast) but I would like it to pop up when I go into my internet. I have set my Home Page to comcast.com but it still come up blank.

Firefox vers 5, crashes continually. Plus, it doesn't hold my home page. Needs reset every time the app has been closed. So with each crash, another home page reset. How can these issues be corrected. I know how to set the Home Page in the Option tab.

Closing Firefox 5.0 resets Home Page to /www.searchqu.com. I know how to set it in the options tab.Earlier versions never had this issue. Plus, I return after being away to find that a "crash error" apologizing for the inconvenience. How2 can this be corrected?

Why do I have to download every time? I need it in order to open strayer university's home page!

In order for me to open strayer university's home page, I have to down load firefox. Can I keep it as a home page or something so that I don't have to redownload again.

I limit on how to gift money has no correlation to the player being bad. Ipods remain the most user friendly devices available. I looked at most before purchasing one myself.

Every time I try to open the firefox application, it won't load and pages and the application freezes. How can I fix this?

When I open the application, there is one tab that says, "Connecting..." After several seconds, the program crashes and remains that way until I force quit the application. I tried restarting my computer. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, and nothing worked.

I had the same problem. I went into software updates and updated security, and two other updates (can't remember exact updates) then restarted my macbook. My macbook wouldn't start!
I found information about restting the SMC (System Management Controller).
Unplug the power adapter.
Remove the battery.
Hold the power button down for 5 secs.
Reconnect the battery and power adapter.
Press the power button.
My Macbook started up and I opened up itunes and the itunes store opened up with images.
I think the resolution was the software updates, but I'm not 100% sure so I included every step that was made.

Using laptop in many envirouments (home, office, university..) made change every time the proxy server. May Firefox (in the future..) have same facilitation to learn or try itself to set the correct proxy against the networks?

In may network envirounments there is a proxy server. I mean, at the office there is one, at the University another one, at home none...
Every time I get a new place of this I have to change manually the proxy configuration. I think this is not so confortable. I discovered a Antivirus SW that has implemented that idea: First the sw try with the proxy settings, if it's failed it try without. It's not the best, but at own home this make sense. May firefox use more intelligent (may be autolearn: I mean by network id firefox can associate the proxy settings) proxy configuration settings.

Every time I attempt to connect to the internet I get a dialogue box that asks do you want to allow this programme to make changes? The publisher is Mozilla, and it also tells me that it relates to Firefox software updater. Never had this until about two hours ago! Also seemed to relate to a crash of McAffee, which happened at around the same time.. Don't know much about computers, but what I do know is that this has only just started... Help...???

It started last week - I normally use Chrome to play my games in Facebook - but I started getting "Sorry, this feature isn't available
right now"..... When I used IE..... no problem - a friend said to install Foxfire, which I did, but I made the mistake of having my bookmarks and whatever transferred from Google as it is the browser I used most often and it has all my bookmarks, but
now it does the same thing when I try to log into Facebook. - I have no problem with any other website. I deleted both Google and Foxfire and tried to start over - I cleared History and checked all the boxes hoping that this would help - but it did not.

On Friday, it started working again - and everything was fine. But on Sunday evening I ran the History Clean in Google and when
I went to log back in, I couldn't and got the same "Sorry" message and has stayed this way since.
I ran a Norton scan of the entire computer, a Hitman scan, a CCleaner scan, ... all to no avail. Problem still exists.
I tried to run a restore program prior to the problem, but I am getting error messages like mad.
there has been two Windows Updates in this time frame and I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not - but my Restore program does not work.

I had this issue. I went to c:\program files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\
I renamed my plugins folder to plugins.old.
It recreated the Plugins folder and all was good again. I have since reinstalled the plugins I've been prompted to install.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). Also it does not matter what I am trying to update, the operating system, and application, each caused the same crash. This mac book is less than a month old.

That is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.
