This is a Firefox help page that I didn't request, nor do I need.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Firefox vers 5, crashes continually. Plus, it doesn't hold my home page. Needs reset every time the app has been closed. So with each crash, another home page reset. How can these issues be corrected. I know how to set the Home Page in the Option tab.

Closing Firefox 5.0 resets Home Page to /www.searchqu.com. I know how to set it in the options tab.Earlier versions never had this issue. Plus, I return after being away to find that a "crash error" apologizing for the inconvenience. How2 can this be corrected?

Thanks, but the problem I'm trying to solve is to get my home page to open automatically when I am already in Firefox and click on the new tab "+" sign to the right of my most recent tab. I have not found a solution to this in the link "How to set the home page" nor in the various help pages on new tabs.

Every time I navigate to a new site or page I also get additional new tabs opening which say 'Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 - this page is no longer available', so I soon end up with an extra tab every time I navigate to a new page.

so I am geting an additional unwanted MS Exchange tab/window every time I navigate to a new site or bookmark. i recentlly upgraded to Firefox 5.0 and I think this problem may have started around the same time. I also have MS Outlook but this is stand alone and I do not synch online at all, and have not changed any settings in it.

I've been working on this all day!!! I've tried everything I know of and can't get it to load either. Sounds like lots of people are having problems. Here is what I have so far...I have uninstalled EVERYTHING on my pc from apple and reinstalled itunes to no avail. I have tried all sorts of things I've read as fixes online. NOTHING has worked. Here is something interesting that i have noticed though. my main pc (which is the one i have always managed my itunes account with for years) is a 32 bit system running windows 7. Yesterday I installed itunes for the first time on my new netbook which is a 64 bit (windows 7) system and it works just fine. i have three other laptops (all window 7) in my household that are all 64 bit operating systems and ALL have updated to 10.5 and THEY ALL work fine. this is FOUR 64 bit systems ALL updated w/10.5 that work and ONE that is a 32 bit that will not. Can't get any help from apple. their suppot *****! I want to get someone on the **** phone or a live chat but cant. *** APPLE????? please let mw know if you find SOMETHING i can try next. I'm out of ideas and patience!

Have you tried a hard reset of the iPod? T o do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If the problem still persists, try restoring your iPod from backup via iTunes. See this article for more assistance.

When I try to open some web sites i am blocked by MOZILLA and redirected to a site I did not want and am unable to close or go back without going back to the home page. Help help help

I have removed the check from the pop up blocked in the MOZILLA options but still get this problem of not being able to open certain sites. The MOZILLA icon appears with the three options available, but before i can click on one I am automatically redirected to a site I did not want, and when I try to go back it will keep coming back to the site MOZILLA put on the computer. I have to close and go back to the home page and start all over again. I have installed a new virus protection system STOPZILLA and could this have any bearing on the problem. After awhile it becomes very frustrating trying to get on line information and being continually redirected. Any ideas?

How do I set the web page for when I open a new tab? Whenever I open a new tab it goes to an error site which freezes my firefox browser for a while. How do I change that? I want to open new tabs with google being the home page. I need to set up the homepage for a new tab NOT a new window. Please help! !

If Google is set as your Homepage in Firefox you can middle-click ''(push down on the mouse wheel)'' to open Google in a new Tab.
Or, you can add the feature to Firefox where clicking the New Tab button on the Tab Bar opens your Homepage in a new Tab.

How do I keep from being prompted every time i go to a new site?

Even though a password is stored for each site, I still have to click through the login, even when I am going to a site with saved login information. I would rather it just go without ever asking, as other browsers do. I find this security feature very irritating.

Live Bookmark Feed failed to load. I cannot view any footage on BBC News site. Also I can no longer view images I have uploaded to a website. This has all materialised overnight. Please help.

I have been uploading pictures of booksd to ABE.com for ages. I am able to view these images on the site. Today, without warning, I am unable to do this. Coincidentally, I note that I can no longer view film footage on the BBC news pages. The Latest Headlines column is also showing "Live Bookmark Feed failed to load". Please help.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images permissions.default.images

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
Try to remove the current Latest Headlines feed and create a new feed.

Screen must be expanded by ctrl+ every time I go to a new site, is there a way to lock in a size??

When going to a site, generally the first time, I hit ctrl + about 5 times to get the screen to fill my computer screen. I would like a setting that will give me the option of calling all sites in this size. Is there a way to add this to preferences?

If you're not, disable Notes synchronization temporarily.
Quit Notes, if it's running.

In the Finder, select

The folder you're moving is named "com.apple.Notes" It is not the subfolder named "Data" or anything else.
Re-enable Notes synchronization.

Everytime I boot up my new Macbook Pro purchased in March of this year, a pop up appears for just a short second and then goes away, I didn't see this pop up when I originally got my Macbook.

You are still under warranty. Call Apple Care & ask them. Or, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you. Let the staff see what you see regarding the pop-up.
